AT FIRST I SAID KIA? THEN I WENT ON A TEST DRIVE AND I LOVED IT. THE PRICE AND OPTIONS ON THE SUV ARE MORE THAN WHAT EXPECTED FROM THIS KOREAN SUV I LOOKED AT MANY SUV IN SAME PRICE RANGE AND GOT LESS OPTIONS,STRIP DOWN SUVS THAT WERE NOT FUN TO DRIVE WITH BASIC EQUIPMENT.

The warrenty can't be beat. pick the one you want, price it and shop the dealerships on-line. keep shopping them until you get the best price. It's a wonderful car, I love mine. Looks like a Lexus but priced like a Kia.

What's not to like? The only option my EX has is ABS. Great sterio, great alloy wheels, 65k mile Michelin tires, the best warranty of any like SUV. Great looks(Lexus eat you heart out), great colors and two tone match up, good ground clearance, could have better gas milage but the V-6 is needed to tow 3500 pounds. I'm not a fake wood kind of guy, but there isn't that much. All around great SUV. Oh yeah, NHTSB 5 stars.

We now have 6700 miles and have not had a problem. I was really impressed when we went on vacation Christmas week and had to drive thru snow on mountain roads with up to 20" and this suv not only got us to our destination but it never lost traction!!! We passed numerous suv and 4wd trucks having traction problems.

I thought it would be a big change from driving a car at first it was but it handles great. The gas mileage could be better but what do you expect these days nothing gets as good gas mileage as it used to.

Overall, we love it - looks great and fits our needs forthe price. A sturdy well built excellent warranty vehicle. If in the market, these are better than Fords or Chevys any day !!!

I to was just going to test drive, but went straight home. I get second looks asking what is that. The only problem is not good on gas. A did not come with floor mats. Love it.

I've had the Kia Sorento for almost two months now, and I love it! I live in colorado and have over a hundred mile commute to and from work into the mountains, and this SUV is great. It picks up really well when going up into the mountains and I love the cruise control. It also handles very well going around curves. This is a great SUV and I would reccomend it to anyone who wants a reliable and fun SUV, but who doesn't want to spend a fortune to get it.

We ahve been on two family vacations with this vehicle. So far it has been comfortable and very reliable. The mileage is a little low but it makes up for this with more than enough horsepower!!

I purchased my Kia a year ago and have loved it ever since, it is a great car and handles great on the road, I have never has one problem with it. I have 4 kids and they were all with me when I bought it and they love it too. The all fit in it and are comfortable. Some times I let my husband drive it.

Excellent vehicle. Fun to drive. Head turner. Good handling. Quite. I had factory problem with engine. Kia immediately gave me a whole new engine - no hassels.

My kia has been a joy to drive. It has a solid stable feel over a variety of terrain. I have not had any trouble with it so far and hope to keep it that way with regular maintenance.

This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I always have people coming up to me and asking how I like It. I tell them I dont like I love it. If you own this vehicle you would understand what I was saying....VERY VERY HAPPY..This vehicle is the same as the Lexux LS300, but $20.000 less..oops that doesnt make it the same it makes it better.I would definatly recomend this vehicle to anybody..............Don (Long Island)

I bought my 2003 Sorento EX 4WD 4dr in June of last year after researching it for about 6 months. This is my first SUV and I love it. I really bought it for myself but my wife has taken over it.I drive it about once a week. I love the sound of the exhaust. It makes you feel like you are driving a real truck instead of some tall wagon. The only bad thing I can say is that I'm sorry I don't have two. By the way, we have over 25,000 miles on it without a single complaint. I can say that most of the Car Magazines do not give it enough credit for being such an outstanding SUV.

We needed a larger 4x4 than our 2003 toyota RAV4. WE looked at every larger model including Ford, Chevy., Dodge and Toyota. After driving all of the others we settled for the Kia. It drives very well and is most comfortable. The features for the price makes it a very good buy. We have two friends that already own the Sorento, and they are very happy with theirs.

I have found this Kia Sorento to be one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. I have bought ten new cars and vans over the years and this is the first one that I have never had one problem of any type .We have been driving round trip of 700 miles every two weeks and have been bringing home furniture in the back with the seats down.I never get tired of driving this vehicle.
Sorento is the SUV to choose!

I researched the market before deciding on purchasing the Sorento. I was initially attracted by the sleek design and the fact that it looks like my dream vehicle the Lexus RX 300 (which by the way I can not afford). But the Sorento was a better value for the price anyway. It handles well, looks darn good (an eye-catcher), is very spacious, and is easy on the wallet. Overall, I love the vehicles sporty, but classy, look.
Save 8 grand and love it.

Transmission: Nissan, Brakes: Bosch, Liomited slip Diffrential; Eaton/Carbon..etc..etc They put together a really nice package..dosent compare to Mazda Tribute..closer to Honda Pilot for a whole lot less. Dont be concerned about the gas mileage..if you do the math you will NEVER eat up the 8 grand you saved plus add the warranty and you cant go wrong.

Great looks, value and SUV for money. Must be the best in the market. Compares to SUV's 10K more yet sturdy and well styled and equiped. VERY QUIT AND COMFORTABLE. WATCH OUT EVERYONE!

If you have back problems like me, do not think to buy a Sorento.The ride is very stiff and road vibrations will affect your spinde for sure. I have herniatic disc and since I bought this car I am in pain. Besides that,if you are healthy go ahead and buy one

Bought this SUV after reviewing it online for 3 months. I give it pretty good marks for for its head turning looks. Superior rating for its endless list of standard features esp the EX model that I bought. Best of all, I couldn't have done much better at $24000 at 0% financing for 6 years. Definitely a lot of bang for the bucks. Believe me, I test drove the Highlander, the Tribute and the Jeep Liberty. They come nowhere close to the Sorento in build and features.

After doing a LOT of research, we decided to purchase an EX model. The dealer had one that we liked, but had 3 fairly expensive options that we did not really want (running boards, trailer package, load leveling). The dealer threw them in at the price we had negotiated for one without these features. I have been very happy with the quality and comfort of the vehicle - much better than the 2002 Ford Explorer XLT we traded in.

This is the most comfortable vehicle i have ever owned. I switched from being a long time Chrysler owner and I believe the Kia Sorento to be far superior in quality. The interior is well thought out (everything is easy to get to for the driver) It is solidly built. I love the sound system and cruise control in the steering wheel. Myonly complaint is the mediocre fuel economy. I get around 16 mpg. I understand the weight is a factor.

I have had my Kia for 2 1/2 years, went from an Expedition to the Sorento. Wasn't sure at first, but it has been nothing but good to me. I get compliments all the time, have not had one problem, and when it is time to purchase a new vehicle, it will be a Kia. The only thing I don't like is the lack of room in the back seat. I even get a free oil change on the anniversary of my purchase. Overall, it is worth every penny!

If you are interested in a true SUV look at the Kia Sorento. This is not a "crossover" but a vehicle capable of real off-road fun. I have had mine for a year now and have never had a problem with it. It is a good looking SUV and often mistaken for one that costs much more.

I was looking for an affordable SUV - something that I thought I would never find! Then the Kia Sorento's came out and I hit the jackpot! Not only was it affordable but it was good looking too! It only got better when I took it for a test drive - it drove beautifully. I am pleased with my purchase and the compliments on my vehicle keep rolling in.

we bought this car a year ago and have had a lot of fun with it. had a little trouble with the brake rotors - took it in and the dealer replaced the rotors at no charge, with a smile. it was a great experience.

Sorento is attractive and very solid suv. It is very capable in the mud. Much more comfortable than was the Honda CRV I traded. The Kia dealership has treated me very well. It is a shame that they do not make a mid-sized pick up as it would put the Dakota to shame.

This vehicle has been great. I travel alot 39,000 miles in first year. Get oil changed every 3000-4000 miles. I have had no problems at all.

I like everything ...so far! One problem: my seat belt indicator does not work as advertised in owner's manual. Once seat belt is disengaged the belt light is suppose to illuminate and a chime sound. Someone answer me this: IS IT JUST ME THAT FINDS IT ODD THAT THERE ARE NO DAY- TIME RUNNING LAMPS??? ...OR ARE THERE AND MY KIA IS SCREWED UP??? A POST FROM OTHERS WOULD REALLY PUT MY MIND AT EASE!

I traded in a 2001 4 cyl Toyota Highlander which was having engine problems at 60,000 miles. This vehicle is peppy and feels more solid than the Highlander which I did also like very much.

My Kia Sorento is perfect for our family of four. It drives well and handels well in the snow and icey condictions in Indiana. I feel very safe riding in my SUV. It has the highest side impact rating by the government. The Kia rodes high off the road so you can see a lot of what's ahead of you. It comes with lots of standard features that I consiter extras.

Plus - finish and fit, quality of materials used and engineering design elements (drain plugs in transmission pan and differential unlike american vehicles) Minus - unlit cruise controls, no radio volume on the steering wheel (what's up with that???) and last but not least abismal gas mileage!!!

I let the style cloud my judgment. This LITTLE SUV is a BIG gas guzzler! I average 12-13 miles per gallon. Most of my driving is city but it's not much better on the highway, 18 mpg at best. Does this little SUV need such a big engine? My 2004 KIA Sorento has been very reliable for the 2-plus years I've owned it, except for the battery and stereo/CD player that have been replaced under warranty. It took nearly 3 months to get the stereo/CD player but the battery was replaced in one visit. I haven't had any non-operation problems.
Is it really KIA?? It is startling !!!!

Wonderful!!!! Absolutely there is not a possibility of purchase-SUV like Sorento in this price. Sorento with beautiful appearance & startling travelling-efficiency will carry every moment to surprise, it makes for me.

We are very happy with our sorento. It is way comfortable and sporty. We researched most suv's in the class and the sorento kicks all other manufacturers butt. The warranty is awesome.

I can't believe what a great value this vehicle is. It is an absolute pleasure to drive, and looks great as well. In fact, it looks and drives as good or better than many higher-priced SUV's. It was "love at first drive" for me!

Just completed a 3000 mi road trip & this vehicle exceeded our expectations. Good ride/handling & plenty of power. Add all the extras & the warranty,& KIA has a real winner here!Lots of "bang for the buck".

The Kia Sorento gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Most of my riders are surprised by the size of the interior, the standard features, cargo room, and how it rides. After they get over their awe the ask about the gas mileage. There in lies the rub! While it doesn't get good gas mileage, it is pretty standard for an SUV with 4 wheel drive. I've enjoyed driving my Sorento this past year. It has been reliable, safe, and fun to drive!
