I love the pick up and go that my vehicle has! It's fun to drive and has more cargo room than my old Dodge Grand Caravan! The way it turns on a dime and stops quickly make it great for parking in tight quaters. I love taking it on long trips because of the way it rides and handles and sounds!

Great SUV. The SE (RARE) 5 speed LX model has been nothing but a pleasure. The 3.5 Hyundai V-6 is powerful and has plenty of torque. The SUV is very quiet and has a solid ride. The controls are easy to find and the radio has the power of an aftermarket. The brushed ally interior is a $200 option and is stock on my model along with nerfbars and fog lights. The model I have has a limited slip differential rearend that in 4x4 is nothing but unstoppable.

great suv for the price . i question the review on the power i myself think its very good . have you ever drove a montaro what a dog . the kia is fast and responds to wheel inputs.

While we DO like our Sorento, we have had nothing but bad luck with the Kia dealership. Every time something goes wrong it has to be ordered from Korea! They didn't even have brake pads at the dealership and had to check at Kragen. The following things have failed already: Front differential leaked, CD player, front struts, cruise control. Rear springs are shot, but they claim vehicle abuse and won't replace. We have only had the truck out to desert for very light off-roading once, but we do have a 270 foot rough dirt driveway. (The 3 Series BMW seems to be able to handle it though). The truck is a nice for grocery shopping, but suspension not suitable for real 4X4 activity.

I've had my 2004 Sorento EX (4wd) for about 2 months now and have about 2600 miles on it. So far nothing has gone wrong with it and I've had a great time driving it. The sorento has the best factory installed stereo system I've ever heard. I'm regulary being asked about the car and everyone who has seen it has been impressed. So far, its been a great pay for the money.

This is the best car I have owned in over 40 years of auto ownership. It is well equipted, well built, and fun to drive. We really like the all wheel drive in Northern Oregon both summer and winter. Will be back when this one wears out.

Looks good. Noisy but peppy engine. Hardest leather seats I have ever encountered. At this time this is a "buyers mistake". When KIA quiets the engine, improves the seats, and makes other "gadge" upgrades it will be ok.

i have this kia sorento and its the perfect suv, it comes with an excellent warranty and there has been no problems with this suv since i had it. it so comfrotable and affordable, it looks sheek and is very rideable, had great pick up and very roomy,

THIS IS A VERY COMFORTABLE SUV. MY HUSBAND IS 6'3" AND LOVES THE "ROOMYNESS" ABOUT IT. I'M ABOUT 5'4" AND I LIKE THAT IT DOESN'T FEEL BULKY. I CAN SEE VERY WELL AND HAVE NO BLIND SPOTS. THE HOOD IS EASY TO SEE OVER AND BACKING UP IS GREAT. THE REAR SEATING IS COMFORTABLE ALSO. IF NEEDED, I AM ABLE TO SIT IN THE REAR IN BETWEEN THE 2 CAR SEATS.

We love our Kia Sorento. We couldn't be happier with the value, warranty and style. The 4WD has come in quite handy in this nasty Ohio weather we have had as of late - it handled wonderfully.

I just bought this vehicle last month and I love it. Compared to many other SUV's in it's class,it was the best value for what you get! It drives smoothly and is very roomy. I recommend it!

I have found this Kia Sorento to be one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. I have bought ten new cars and vans over the years and this is the first one that I have never had one problem of any type .We have been driving round trip of 700 miles every two weeks and have been bringing home furniture in the back with the seats down.I never get tired of driving this vehicle.

I have owned my Sorento for three months now, and the only bad thing I have to say about it is that it doesn't get good gas mileage. The ride is excellent and the design is very good. Add to that the warranty that comes with it and the amount you pay for it, and I think you will find that this is the best Midsize SUV on the market.

Had doubts about the name KIA and after putting on over 8,000 miles on a trip we have no doubts about the name. The vehicle has performed better than expected. Only a few minor design changes would make this vehicle a perfect "10".

Little compared to a Pathfinder or Escalade, etc (4x4 World), but overall fun and easy to drive and dart around town. Simple to park too. A bit plain in appearance but stylish enough to be modern. The warrenty can't be beat. The total package is cheaper then the competition (c'mon Leather, all time 4WD, even Radio Controls for crying out loud!). Safety is a factor, 6 air bags ensure it! I have to put a 5 in Build Quality and Reliability, with it being new I can't honestly judge it. Yet. Not bad for a Korean manufacture, now if only my Samsung TV was just as solid.

Never in a million years would I have believed that I would ever own a KIA, however the Sorento has definately changed my opinion. I LOVE this vehicle! I would definately recommend the Sorento and would purchase again in the future.

Overall very nice ride. Some simple improvements from Amer. counterparts would be nice. Very solid and high performing 6 cyl.

Transmission: Nissan, Brakes: Bosch, Liomited slip Diffrential; Eaton/Carbon..etc..etc They put together a really nice package..dosent compare to Mazda Tribute..closer to Honda Pilot for a whole lot less. Dont be concerned about the gas mileage..if you do the math you will NEVER eat up the 8 grand you saved plus add the warranty and you cant go wrong.

I've had the Kia Sorento for almost two months now, and I love it! I live in colorado and have over a hundred mile commute to and from work into the mountains, and this SUV is great. It picks up really well when going up into the mountains and I love the cruise control. It also handles very well going around curves. This is a great SUV and I would reccomend it to anyone who wants a reliable and fun SUV, but who doesn't want to spend a fortune to get it.

I have just purchased a new Sorento and I am very happy. I was skepticle of Kia after my experience with the 02 Spectra and the loud whistling noise from my windows while driving but have been extremely impressed with the spacious and quiet interior. Very well built and fun to drive.

Excellent SUV. Is a gas hog in my opinion. V6 maybe 20 miles a gallon. Quiet ride is exceptional. This vehicle is also built very good. Get the most for your money.

For a first time suv owner I got my bang for the buck. Extreamly stylish, and a useful sports utility. Great handling. With a lot of power under the hood. The quality of 35,000 dollar vehicle.

This is an outstanding vehicle. However, I didn't realize when I bought it that the mileage would be so ridiculously low. It seems like they should have had a freeway driving gear, as most of my miles are done on the highway and my mileage is still averaging 15.5 mpg. How can a V6 Vehicle get the same mileage as a full size V8 suv? Regardless of this, the car is superb and is a great value at purchase time. With gas at $2.25 per gallon, it is difficult to stomach the mileage. I also think the car is a little bumpy when you drive about 60mph on the freeway. Other than that, the car looks great and has nice features.

Bought this SUV after reviewing it online for 3 months. I give it pretty good marks for for its head turning looks. Superior rating for its endless list of standard features esp the EX model that I bought. Best of all, I couldn't have done much better at $24000 at 0% financing for 6 years. Definitely a lot of bang for the bucks. Believe me, I test drove the Highlander, the Tribute and the Jeep Liberty. They come nowhere close to the Sorento in build and features.

I have had my Sorento (top of the line EX)for 6 months now. In all my personal driving test on real road and off road, the Sorento has come through excellent every time. True there are a few bumps in the road and not completly flawless as with a top of the line car. But then again it is a real truck with a cross ladder frame, as compared to the other truck on car frame wanna be's. Power is also there when you want or need it. I wouldn't trade this truck for anything in the same or even higher price range. I have driven the Lexus 300RX and found it to be a big disapointment for the hype and money.

Have only had vehicle 6.5 months, but vehicle is the best I've ever owned. Very comfortable and a blast to drive. It almost makes rush hour traffic enjoyable. Plenty of room for people and 'stuff'. Full size adults fit comfortably in rear seats.

Purchased a new 2004 Sorento EX/4WD with luxury package, ABS & rear spoiler. Researched & test drove everything from a Hyundai Tucson to a Lincoln Navigator. No other SUV offers so much quality, options, warranty & pure fun! The ride is solid but comfortable and the fit/finish is great. It's a real head-turner. The absolute best bang-for-the-buck in the mid-size SUV class. Gas mileage is acceptable (I am averaging about 17 MPG in town but to get that you need to keep your foot out of it). This is one GREAT vehicle. Ya gotta' have one of these!

I love my Kia Sorento. I have owned a Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Toyota 4-Runner and the Kia is by far the best in its class.

I was in the market for a car when a friend of mine suggested that I try the Sorento. I was so glad I did!! This SUV is as awesome as the title says. This venicle has been off-road and on the city streets of Chicago. If any of you know about the highways in Chicago, you know they're almost as bad as going off-road. However, I've hit potholes, roadkill, branches, DEEP standing water (that's really cool), curbs, etc. and there's absolutely no rattling in the car. NONE!! I've got close to 23,000 miles on my EX and except for the gas mileage, I've found nothing wrong with it!

We gave up the minivan and went to the midsize SUV. It is great! The Kia takes the hills and the roads better than the minivan. It is classy and really fun to drive. Lots of space for hauling things. Perfect to step up in for a shorter person. Too many nice colors to choose from. Great warranty and great service also. Lots for your money. We checked around at all the SUVs and came back to this one. Why pay more for a Lexus, and it is almost the same.

I had nothing but problems from the time I bought my Kia brand new. Crack in the drive shaft with less than 300 miles on it a month after I bought it. Constant electrical problems that the dealer couldn't fix: brake lights out every 3 months, headlights out every 6 months. Both headlights blew out at the same time once! $400+ to replace sensors, including throttle and airbag, which warranty had just expired (conveniently). Bad catalytic converter, which went bad 2K miles after warranty expired. This is the WORST purchase of my life. The only reason I didn't get rid of it sooner was because I was STUCK with it: they depreciate too fast you can't trade them in. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE @ its best!

I was looking for an affordable SUV - something that I thought I would never find! Then the Kia Sorento's came out and I hit the jackpot! Not only was it affordable but it was good looking too! It only got better when I took it for a test drive - it drove beautifully. I am pleased with my purchase and the compliments on my vehicle keep rolling in.

Sorento is attractive and very solid suv. It is very capable in the mud. Much more comfortable than was the Honda CRV I traded. The Kia dealership has treated me very well. It is a shame that they do not make a mid-sized pick up as it would put the Dakota to shame.

I traded in a 2001 4 cyl Toyota Highlander which was having engine problems at 60,000 miles. This vehicle is peppy and feels more solid than the Highlander which I did also like very much.

My Kia Sorento is perfect for our family of four. It drives well and handels well in the snow and icey condictions in Indiana. I feel very safe riding in my SUV. It has the highest side impact rating by the government. The Kia rodes high off the road so you can see a lot of what's ahead of you. It comes with lots of standard features that I consiter extras.

Plus - finish and fit, quality of materials used and engineering design elements (drain plugs in transmission pan and differential unlike american vehicles) Minus - unlit cruise controls, no radio volume on the steering wheel (what's up with that???) and last but not least abismal gas mileage!!!
