I am so glad that they have made and affordable SUV. The vechile drives great. It has alot of standard features that you would have to pay extra on other SUV. I love my Kia. I would recommend this vechle to anyone. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm very happy so far. Hate the grill design, poor mileage, and stiff ride, but everything else is great. No problems whatsoever.

I've been the proud owner of a Kia Sorento for 6 mos and love it more every day. I fondly refer to it as "Beastie" because of how efficiently it devours the road. It looks so good too, at a price way below the competition. Do yourself a favor and before you buy anything, try the Sorento! (Have you seen the movie "Seabiscuit"? Well, this tough little SUV is Seabiscuit!

I have had the chance to drive my Kia in the snow this weekend and it did an amazing job! I love the look and the feel of my new SUV...and people even say it looks like a Lexus!

I love my Sorento. I am so impressed, it's the luxury of the Lexus, RX300, the off-road of a Jeep for thousands less and a better warranty. The quality is impressive for the price, and we'll see about long term quality. But so far, It's worth the money.

Had the SUV for a week know. This is my second Sorento...when I bought a 4x2 version I was told that ALL Sorentos came with a limited slip rear. This is not the case! Only 4x4 versions come with the limited slip. I'm pleased with the look, power, and standard features. I'm a little cautious about the reliability of the vehicle...I've had the drivers side window stop working...which was fixed by turning off the ignition and restarting. Also have squeaks where the back passenger seats connect to the release for folding down. The clock also runs slow....about 6 minutes over a weeks time. This was a big step for me...my first import. I'm really relying on this warranty!

I traded my BMW for a Kia! WHAT? Thats right a Kia. It still hard for me to say but I am very impressed with the Sorento. When my wife first said "Kia", I said NO WAY! but after the test drive I was sold. Just try to find another fully loaded mid-size SUV for what you will pay for you Sorento. If you have any doubts about buying a Kia, just test drive the Sorento. We bought a EX 4x2 loaded! for less then $25k We haven't had it very long but so far so good, We love it! You can't beat 10/100000 warranty.

I first posted here shortly after I purchased my Sorento. I had to be honest on questions like quality, etc., I put down 5s as it was too new to know. Now it's 7 months down the road and this vehicle more than I hoped for! In the winter, it was amazing (most snow in years). Gas mileage could be better, but it is better than the sticker suggested.

Looked at many SUV's ... owned two Jeep Grand Cherokees ... this is far the best valued SUV on the market. Great exterior styling and many interio extras. Very quite motor ... very impressive SUV... be sure and check-out the Sorrento before you purchase your next SUV.

In the market for a SUV? Look no further!I am so impressed with this product, that I'm telling you to run not walk to your KIA dealer to buy one. I love everything about this car. It's sturdy well built feeling gives you the felling of driving a much more "exspensive vehichle", and having the opportunity to drive my wife's BMW 5 series car, I think I can make that comparrison with confidence. Don't hesitate and have fun with your new Sorento.

Our sorento has started squeaking now with the cold weather. It appears to be the belts. We took it into the dealer 3 times thus far, the last time we took it in they replaced all the belts and made the comment, "Some cars do it and some cars don't, and if it keeps doing it we'll just have to live with it". Sorry, but KIA's customer SATISFACTION is way under par. -JB

I had an extended size van, so I am having trouble getting use to the smaller space, but love the way it handles like a car. Looks almost like a Lexus. Sharp looking.

I've only owned my Sorento a couple of months, but so far I like it.The ride is very good, and it handles decent. The interior is very nice and the quality seems comparable to General Motors, if not better in some aspects. I guess time will tell how this vehicle holds up.

We love our Sorento!!! Just bought it loaded out except for the Luxury package. It has the looks of the Lexus, great power, and so much more room than the lexus.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing the Sorento EX. But after doing some homework I am glad I made the decision. I had a 00 RAV 4 that I out grew really fast. I feel that since Kia has been working with Hyundai they have turned thins around. I recommend this vehicle.

I have to admit that the Kia was not my initial first choice for an SUV. I actually bought a Ford Escape in April because I had not heard of the Sorrento at that time. Unfortunately(or fortunately)at 4 months old my Escape's engine caught fire due to an engine (fuel injector) malfunction. The Escape was totalled in less than 20 minutes. Now I have the more comfortable and more reliable(they don't blow up)Kia Sorrento. The Kia is 150% better than the Escape and it cost less!! I guess I should be glad that Ford made such a poor quality product because now I am happier with my KIA!! :)

I got my Sorento EX 4WD luxery package retailing for just under $28,500 about a month ago. This car is an excellent vehicle. I had no problem paying this price because i have heard nothing but good news about this car. Kia - you have done a great job in designing and building a great vehicle. Now just put some effort in building your other cars better. I love my Sorento. GREAT JOB KIA!!!

After looking at many SUVs on the market the Sorrento is by far the best buy for your buck. So far (knock wood) we have had no problems and the gas mileage is improving (albeit still slightly under 20 mpg on the highway). The wife and kids love the car especially the sunroof and I love the payments!

My hubby is 6'2" and I'm 5'. This is to be my vehicle but we needed something my hubby could drive comfortably and also have leg room in the back seat. We were so surprised by the roominess in the cabin. The drive is great and the price was fantastic. Love the exterior also. It drives really smoothly and has plenty of power for both of us. After we purchased it my 'mocho' husband said "I can't believe I bought a Kia". We thought it would be cheaply designed but were very pleasantly surprised by the ammenities included. Sales experience was also great.

I really love "most" everything about my Sorento, except one issue the dealership has yet to have corrected. It has a vibration at highway speeds. I first noticed this right after I bought it. The dealerships response: 1) It's too new, we don't know what to do about it. 2) It has 16" wheels that are difficult to balance. 3) It is a truck, we don't feel anything out of the ordinary. 4) The drive shaft is out 180 degrees. I go to have the oil changed at a different KIA dealership and they notice the vibration right away, and are contacing the factory for assistance, thinking it is the rearend.

The Sorento rides and handles much better than the Xterra (which I was considering). The 4WD has gotten me out of sugar sand several times already. I put a vehicle through its paces as it is used for work, and the Sorento has met all challenges it has faced so far. From orange groves to woods to beaches to city streets, the Sorento is equally at home. I an getting about 17 mpg with mostly stop and go driving.

What a great SUV for the money! Hugs the road, quick and responsive, easy to drive and comfortable. Lots of bonus storage & cup holders. Despite hearing concerns about the MPG, I've been averaging 17, which is fine with me. I love the exterior styling and the luxury touches. The cargo room is deceivingly large - I call it my "clown car". I never thought I'd be so thrilled to own a KIA! Why pay $15K more for a comparable SUV???

Luxury Group and ABS for 25,485..500 dollars overinvoice..Had TO haggle dealers in Boston area...Herb Chambers was the best on price..Boch was horrible..Stay away from them. They wouldn't come down on price at all.They are actually trying to sell them for 2% over sticker price.

After purchasing and driving this vechicle I am throughly impressed. The ride and attributes of this vechicle are amazing considering the price. Attention to detail from exterior design to interior detail are first rate. That together with the worry free warranty give the added satifaction of a value based purchase that not only performs well but looks good doing it.

This is a solid suv and fun to drive. GM could take a few lessons from Kia. I always was buy American..I've had bad expieriences with GM products costing much more then my Kia. The company should have more quality control and the uaw should figure that the rest of America cant buy products built by overpaid sloppy union workers. thank you!

Simply put, it's great! After driving various models I was surprised to find the Sorento competes most closly with the benchmark Lexus (in terms of comfort/conveinence/performance) than any others tested (15 models). I'll write again once the odometer hits 30k to let you know reliability. The downside: Avg MPG Real competitors in size/weight/hp (Lexus/Jeep/Ford) avg better, but the safty, room, ride quality, cabin quiteness, and solid construction cannot be had until you practically double the price! If you do the math (gas @ 2.00 per gallon and 15K miles per year)the gas "savings" you get will take 23-37 YEARS of driving to realize!

Love it! What a great value for the price. With the full option EXL package and EVERY Luxury imaginable, it is thousands less than GRAND CHEROKEE or MDX. Comfortable, stylish and very attractive from every angle.

I love my Kia Sorento. It's very comfortable to ride in and there is alot of passager room. The Sorento has plenty of storage compartments. The seats make long rides enjoyable. My best friend bought a Ford Escape the day before I bought my suv and it has been in the auto shop 3 times already. I really love my Kia Sorento.

I was not sure about purchasing a SUV with the KIA name plate. You've got to at least go for a test drive.The Sorento is everything the ads say and more. A lot of fun to drive and everyone notices the Sorento when you drive it.

I just bought my Sorento EX a couple of days ago but I am already very familar with the vehicle. It is very "user friendly". This is my first SUV so I am rather enjoying the view from up high. I went from a car with 260 hp to my Kia and I don't really miss the power. The Kia's engine is very responsive. It rides like a good sturdy car. You don't get beat to death going over bumps, etc. The turning radius is excellent. Very easy to turn, park, etc.

We had a deposit on the Acura MDX, but it wasn't going to arrive until 2 months later. Our friend told us to look at the Sorento and at first we said "NO! Kia's are bad!" But we went to the Kia dealership anyway and bought the Sorento the SAME DAY! The sorento costed us $12,000 and the sorento luxury package is practically exactly like the MDX! We LOVE it, you will too!

The first time I test drove the Kia Sorento I fell in love it has wonderful performance and Its Fun to Drive. The only downfall is the Gas mileage but the Power is there. It's actually looks better than a Lexus RX 300 take the 2 side by side and the KIA takes all the attention away!!!!:)I strongly recommend the KIA SORENTO to SUV lovers.

After reading all the other reviews I figured I coudln't lose, great price, great quality, great warranty. So I went out and bought one. However, I have had several annoying things go wrong. I've had it 2 months now and its been in the shop 4 times for several things. The most annoying is a vibrating feel and sounds and certain speeds and acceleration. I went through a car wash and water started dripping in through the top of the windshield. Most other things were minor. I like to drive it and the interior is really nice. But overall I like the vehicle. Plan on keeping it for a long time because depreciation is really bad.

Just picked up our Kia Sorento and love it so far. Great vehicle for the money. Many standard features only available as options from other manufactures. Only complaint so far is vibration or rumble while at highway speeds (50mpg or greater). Seems like tires but unsure.

I absolutely love my Sorento! My husband has an Xterra that I can't stand! It's uncomfortable and drives like a truck and I vowed not to have that when I bought an SUV. I found everything I wanted in my Sorento and more! One thing I wish I had gotten...the luxury package!

When I first looked at the Sorento I was impressed. After two months of looking around, Icould not find anything better. But a KIA? After owning the Sorento now for almost two months. All I can say is: If you want a GREAT SUV get to KIA and buy one!!
