Used 2007 Kia Rio 4dr Sedan (1.6L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Bought it used and I love it
I bought my Kia used at about 130,000 miles on it. I’ve had it for a few months now and after putting almost 1,000 miles on it personally, I can say this car is amazing. For how many miles are on it, there are seriously no problems that I’ve ran into. The only thing is the belt on my engine is a bit worn, but thats pretty normal for and older/ higher mileage car. I’m very satisfied with my Rio and I hope it lasts me for more than my last car :)
It's good for the price
My Kia was purchased in July of 2007 brand new, I Have put over 85,000 miles on the car and only had it in the shop once for a timing belt going out at 72,000 miles (didn't realize they were only designed to last 60,000) pricey repair, but other wise the car has been fantastic as I have a rather long commute to work at 55 miles each way. I average 39 mpg between city and highway with the 5 speed manual transmission. The only real Issue I have with the car is that it was purchased with no AC in the Arizona desert, and it is uncomfortable for long trips, after about 2 hours behind the wheel it starts getting a uncomfortable and I need to stop and get out of the car.

Commuter
I have a 140 mile round trip commute and needed a good mpg car. I knew the Kia would get good mileage and the long warranty was important, but I did not expect it would be so fun to drive. I have actually had it up to 100 mph and seemed like it had a little more to give, I didn't want to push my luck though.
Bad on gas
This was a horrible purchase. Terrible MPG 16-18 max. Brakes shot @ less then 9,000 miles in the shop 9 times for charging problem. This car looks ok, highly overrated!
Kia Rio-1 sweet ride
This is a sweet, fun to drive, ecomomical and good-looking little car. I have had good service experience and am very happy with my choice of this car.
