Used 2005 Kia Amanti 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
My third Kia
We owned two Sedonas and were pleased with the safety styling and value when the Amanti was introduced. We purchased one with the optional electronic stability control. The performance has improved as it was driven. When new it didn't accelerate very well. It is now "hard to hold down!" We have owned a couple of Lincolns and this auto compares very favorably.
Classy Chassis
It's a shame that American car manufacturers just don't get the idea of quality and comfort. Hats off to Kia for the Amanti--what a beautiful car. Plenty of power, lap of luxury and a pretty cool style! I have driven many American luxury cars- Caddy,Regis,Buick Ford-- but this one is the nicest. Smooth--silent---stable. Everything that a true luxury car should be---without the price gouging.

Love my Amanti
What a great car. We went to the west coast; had a lot of people admire and ask questions. If the gas price would have been a little lower, our trip could have been perfect. We would recommend the Amanti as the perfect car.
A great car
I purchased this car with 18 miles on it. I had 1 problem -- the brake rotors had some rust and caused the brakes to grab. The dealer touched up the rotors and it has been great ever since. The seat warmers and sound system are fantastic.
Kia Amanti review
Have had many compliments since my purchase. The overall value for what this vehicle brings is outstanding. Luxury versus cost.
Luxury at a not-so-luxury-price
I switched from an Infiniti to a Lexus. This is without a doubt a quieter and smoother ride. Time will tell about its reliability, since it is a new model, but I feel comfortable with the warranty that comes with it. I got mine loaded, even with ESP, and feel very safe in it.
The Amazing Amanti (Be Amazed!)
This is a refreshing change from Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda and Mitsubishi, (and I've owned them all in the past) . The ride is fantastic and I cannot began to tell you how many times people look at our black Kia wondering "that's nice!, what is it?" We're stopped all the time by friends, relatives, workmates, and folks we don't know asking about the car. Many people's first thought is that it is a new Mercedes, or Jaguar from the front or even a new smaller Lincoln Town Car from the rear. I have never had a car that has generated more interest than our 2004 Kia Amanti!
Luxury for less
I traded in my Mazda Miata convertible for something more safe at the urging of my over- protective mother and sister. I drive almost constantly, so it was a good idea after all. I bought the Amanti with 13,000 miles on it almost 3 1/2 years ago and it now has 106,000 miles. I have only had to perform regular maintenance on the car. It has taken me all over the western states in super comfort and I proved the safety of the car in a minor accident. Someone crashed into me while I was at a stoplight and I kind of cocked my head to the side and said... did someone just hit me? It felt like a minor bump to me, but ended up crunching the other car pretty well.
afte 9 months and 10,000 miles
Driver comfort, interior appointments, dealer service, sound system, electronic info display, all excellent.
Happy, But Not PERFECTLY Happy
Contrary to some, I don't find the suspension loose or "floaty." The brakes are a bit too grippy for me. The ride's wonderfully pleasant, would be dead quiet if the air intake wasn't so loud. Posh enough, but cheap very scratchable finish on the interior glossy bits. Wish it had a compass; Love the computer and gobs of great gadgetry otherwise. Happy with accelleration, at the stoplight and for passing, don't mind the lessor V6. Love the front end, back end cloys, though I think the trunk's my favorite feature -- HUGE. CD changer slow loading. horn pathetic. blind spot in front. Saftey top notch. Eight way seats, but haven't got comfortable on long trips.
