Used 2015 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4dr SUV 4WD (1.4L 4cyl Turbo 6M) Consumer Reviews
Owned for 2 weeks now
I chose a 4wd standard, it's a blast to drive. Still trying to figure out Uconnect and all the other cool stuff it came with. I would move the clutch over a couple inches to make driving more comfortable and a more natural sitting position. My shoes have hit together a few times driving which isn't very safe, obviously. I am only 5'2" 130lbs so I also wish the seat would go up a couple inches higher so I can see more of the hood when I'm driving and that the seat wasn't so long. My knees don't quite make it to the end of the seat. It would be ideal to have it a bit shorter. I mean who needs a seat that long? Overall I enjoy my new renegade, but would love it if the seat and clutch had a makeover:-)

'15 jeep renegade latitude does it all
for what i need out of a vehicle, i am very happy with my renegade. it kicks off with the 1.4L turbo 6 speed manual which is a BLAST to drive. driving experience is as fun as the mini coopers but that's about as similar as it gets to the coopers. i live in denver and am up in the mountains about every weekend, year round. i've taken the renegade through some nasty off road trails (steep, mud/water, tight turns) and even more so in the snow. i tend to be an overconfident driver and the renegade has never let me down. i've driven through blizzards, driveways filled with 2 feet of snow and my fair share of icy roads. the stock wheels should be just plenty for anything you need to put the renegade through but upgrade to some all weather/winter tired and it's like driving a wrangler through the worst conditions. I love the dual sun panels and seamlessly remove these most days in the summer. the tech that comes with the nav system is quite savvy and the usb port is so useful. i've got factory all weather mats and cross bars which come in handy all the time. back up camera works very well and is a huge help. mpg's i get is actually higher than what it was listed for (usually getting 25-26 mpgs). Uconnect system is also very cool and seems top of line for the tech options out there for similar vecihles. overall, well done jeep/chrysler.

It's great but.......
The car is awesome and I love it. The fog lights went out within the first month of purchase. Later the key fob and lock/unlock button stopped working. I had to manually lock and unlock all car doors. Have taken it twice to go get fixed within 3 months. Good mileage. Overall the car is amazing, but it has a lot of technical problems.

4WD Jeep you can shift with good MPG
The Jeep Renegade is one of the few 4WD vehicles out there that combine: - Manual Transmission - Good fuel economy - Excellent off road capability - Decent back row room for adults The manual transmission version is paired only with the 1.4 liter turbo charged engine, but I will say this engine offers plenty of power and torque, even with 4 passengers going up mountain roads! Very fun to drive, nimble control, good cornering, strong turbo boost in 2500-4000 RPM range. The gas tank is small but I still drive farther on a tank than I do with my other vehicle which is a Toyota FJ Cruiser AWD with manual transmission. And the small tank of course means that you won't end up paying a huge amount to fill it. Jeep recommends high octane (91 or higher) for the turbo, but lower octane gas can be used.

Like the Renegade
High ground clearance, with amazing 4x4 abilities, yet it still has the luxuries of other cars in the same class. Good price too. I did alot of research and if you are looking for a quality 4x4 in a small build, the Jeep Renegade is the way to go. We live on a rough road in Montana and the renegade powers through just lIke a wrangler. The only catch is Jeep, as a company. Look up reviews of Jeep and they are rated with the lowest customer service, appropriately. I love the Renegade but I'll never buy another Jeep.
