I just took delivery of my new 2023 Grand Cherokee limited, literally 2 days ago. Had to pay $2,100 for a sunroof, my choice. This car seems different than my 2016 and 2019 Grand Cherokee’s, bigger and less nimble. As I go through the process of figuring this one out features and operations wise, I discovered to my amazement that there is no automatic day/night mirror. Instead a small paddle that needs to be pushed to switch to night mode. The last car that I owned that had that was my 1995 Isuzu Trooper. My new Jeep stickerd at something over $53K. A manual day night mirror? Seriously? Most of the included tech toys I probably won’t use, the mirror is a HUGE miss. UPDATE: My third Grand Cherokee, 2016 and 2019. These were great, should have stopped at 2. Got this in May of 2023, a little over 5K miles. Been back to the shop 3 or 4 times, UConnect issues. Radio stops working, phone stops working. The usual "software" update garbage from the dealer. They were going to kick it upstairs to Chrysler engineering and we were supposed to have the unit changed out. Was back today, now we are back to software updates. Can't make a phone call, have to reset the UConnect unit. Absolutely ridiculous for a car that stickered at $53,600. Huge mistake getting this vehicle. OK to drive, not nearly as manueverable as the 2016, 2019.

2023 JEEP Grand Cherokee 4 x 4 Limited. I have owned three Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. vehicles, 2005, 2014, 2023 (now at 12,000 km). This January 2024, I left the Jeep in hotel parking lot near Toronto ai for 8 nights. On return battery was DEAD. Chrysler Road Assistance tried to boost it, but after a few attempts rudely left saying "you should have called for a tow", leaving my wife and I stranded (Sunday evening). Called again to Assistance to arrange towing to Woodstock for the next day ($422.06), Monday. Two days at Woodstock Chrysler the response was "nothing wrong with battery, we've charged it". A replacement vehicle would not be offered, 'we have to find out first mice ate your wiring". (Not the response to give a customer.) They indicated the Jeep was having too many gadgets; prevent battery discharging by disconnecting cables if away 8 days. Chrysler Canada Customer Service suggested a second opinion. Ingersoll Chrysler diagnosis same; battery if OK. Said Jeeps have difficulty sitting in minus degree weather. Not the problem and suggestion solution my 79-year old wife wanted. Didn't hear this when purchasing the vehicle. Couple days later noticed blinking BSM in mirrors, fault on dashboard for forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control. 20 km. away at destination noticed I cannot open rear liftgate, can't move seats, seat heat not working, window down not working, car locks not working. Next day Ingersoll Chrysler found problem, ordered parts, fixed it. The next issue experienced is a noisy engine while driving and RPM going into red zone. Ingersoll Chrysler is going to look at this tomorrow. We are grateful for their prompt service MAYBE after having success with Jeeps, THIS ONE IS A 'LEMON'. HELP!!!.

Wanted Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 in Ember color, moonroof, black out with side steps. Impossible to get after a month looking. Settled for black, no moonroof no blackout. Aftermarket sidesteps at an exorbitant price. Nice car, good mpg, great heat/ac, sound. Disappointed I have to unlock with fob or on phone. Noticed paint bubbles/blisters already. Hope they won't be a problem.

Fallen in LOVE!

We purchased a new 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, in the end of April. Because of medical situations, I needed a bigger vehicle with bigger doors., And more adjustable seats, than our 2016 Cherokee Trailhawk had. Shopped on line, and our salesman and the dealership manager brought our choice to the house for a test drive. We fell in love with the GC Limited, as soon as we got in those big comfortable seats. The engine is smooth as silk, the transmission works flawlessly. At our age, We have had been sort of slow getting to use all the features. At this point, we've learned to use everything, including the voice command. However, won't be bothered with phone calls and such when driving. The satellite radio is in use all the time, and we control it with a simple "Hey Jeep" and "he" (wife wanted a male voice in system) changes our stations, HVAC temperatures, and fan speeds, etc. The driver #1 (my wife) and driver #2 (me) settings are great. That feature even remembers which satellite stations each one of us uses. And, we just learned that if my wife is driving, I can not give "Jeep" commands while she is in the driver's seat. The power from that 3.6 litre V6 is more than ample for our use. We live in a rural area near State College PA, and Penn State University. Go to town for groceries and doctors, etc. The computer is showing that "Jeep" is consistently averaging between 24.7 & 25.3 mpg. And neither my wife or I spare the horsepower. We consistently find ourselves 5-10 mph over the speed limit. On the interstate it will show that we are getting 29 - 30 mpg at a steady interstate speed of 70 - 75 mph. The build quality is perfect. Doors close with a solid "thud", no squeakes, or rattles. Feels solid as a "tank". The handling on country roads is amazing for a vehicle this size. We considered a Ford Explorer, Hyundai Palisade, and KIA Telluride. But we didn't want or need three rows of seats. This two row Grand Cherokee Limited was/is perfect for our needs. This is our 6 th Jeep, over the years. 2 Wranglers, a Liberty, an earlier Grand Cherokee, and a Cherokee Trailhawk. All have been perfect with no problems. We've always had great luck and great service from our Jeeps.

What will need to be replaced next?

Overall, solid Jeep reliability on the engine & drivetrain in the first 16mos and surprisingly good gas mileage. But in the same period the dealer replaced both batteries, both rear struts, both front sway bars, repaired the radiator air deflector and recently one of the backseat headrests. Lots of SW stability issues. Really disappointing considering the expected quality of historical Jeep products.
