Just bought my 4th Grand Cherokee, a 2022 Altitude. Totally love it! My husband is over 6 ft tall and has never liked my Jeeps in the past. He actually loves driving/riding in this one. It seems so much bigger. This redesign was a good one!

I have almost 10,000 miles and its been flawless . Love the ride the handling . great in the snow and heavy rain. One thing I don't like was the paddle switches on the steering wheel I think its unsafe if you don't know what they are for. Love the interior seating is perfect and comfortable. Heat and air system great. The engine is a little loud but a plenty of power. wish it had a CD player for my old music. So far its 5 star vehicle to me.

True Capability + Luxury

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 4dr SUV (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

Owned a '22 GC Summit for 4 mos. I live in CO and like to be in the mountains, so I replaced the 20" rims w 18" and some Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. Now, I can go almost anywhere, and in luxury beyond what I had in my BMW 5-series. More power in the 3.6L than what I expected - beyond what I need. Averaging 19-20 mpg w mix of highway and city. (No reduction despite running on the Wildpeak A/Ts.) The seat massagers are awesome. The leather is Land Rover - level. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Been driving in a lot of snow, and it grips so well! Love it!

This is my fourth Jeep GC. Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment, on the other hand I do like the platform. I’ve had: 1993, 2003, 2014 and now 2022. 2022 has some amazing features that I like, and some that seem pointless (passenger video screen in particular). The active driving assist is nice, though less advanced than I would like these days. I agree with the general assessment of the interior being upscale, but not presenting well on a day-to-day- the “piano black” interior finish looks nice in the showroom but shows every fingerprint. As to reliability, a couple of my previous GC died of transmission failure. This model offers a new one that I hope is better. It did however have several electronic issues at under 5k with sensors apparently, which rendered it almost undrivable. All systems alerted and it went into “limp mode”. This happened twice and required two trips to the dealer to resolve. Beyond that, no issues. The massaging and ventilated seats are money and I have no issues with the “confusing button layout” I’ve seen in other reviews.
