My Jeep is at 140000 miles I bought it used at 50000. The model is the 5.7l limited I will list the repairs I have done I'll start from largest to smallest. 1. water pump, it was leaking around the seal, easy fix right in the front of the engine. 2. brake booster recall 3. fuel relay recall That's all so far. I love the SUV i get and average 15-16mpg and thats a mix of hwy and city. I use regular gas and change my oil and rotate my tires every 4500 miles. Ive towed large Uhaul trailers over 200 miles with no issues. It is my daily driver and im happy with it.

I've owned my 2011 GC Limited for over 10 years. At over 131,000 it still drives and rides great like the first day I bought it. Therefore, I've kept my Jeep much longer than anticipated. Never owned another vehicle this long. Only major problem I've had was when fairly new (6800 mi) the torque converter needed replacing. Chrysler/Jeep and the dealer were not great to deal with. Almost traded after that bad experience but very glad I kept this great Jeep.

I bought a new JGC in May 2011, the limited version with the hemi. Love the look of the new jeep inside and out. fun to drive with the power of the hemi. Have had one problem with it so far. went out to start it the other morning and it was completely dead. called roadside assist and they came out and jumped started it. but then all the warning lights stayed on and the gauges did not work. took it to the dealership and they told me your not supposed to jump start the new jeeps because they have a AGM battery in them. it turns out when they jumped it a computer modele was fried. not sure why it went dead in the first place, waiting to see if it happens again.

Perfect for a Tall Guy

Lots of mid-size SUVs have similar 3.6L V6 engines, but the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited is a perfect combination of power, luxury, safety, aesthetics and room. I'm a tall guy -- 6'5" -- and there is plenty of head room, leg room and shoulder room. Good visibility. The electronics work great, and the voice activated radio and phone are excellent.

Just purchase 2011 grand cherokee limited with 5.7 v8. Dealership was great and the Jeep is even better. Glad that Jeep has found its way back and this model should reestablish the brand as the one to buy. Tested SUVs from lexus, toyota, hyundai, acura, chev, and honda and the Jeep is by far not only the better vehicle but the best value.
