This is our first time owning a Jeep. We liked the description on the dealership website and put it on our list of vehicles to look at. It was the first one we took for a ride and my wife fell in love with it. It’s a great vehicle, only has a 4 cylinder engine but it’s got plenty of spunk. Spacious and comfortable, lots of options for driver comfort and safety.

Too many issues

This is our third Jeep. We have bought 2 Jeep Cherokee Laredo's and decided that we would buy a jeep latitude for my wife. After 4 years we have had numerous problems with the latitude. Not good in snow, the automatic start stop stopped working, had 2 coils go bad (wasn't covered by the expensive extended warranty of course). Slow acceleration after stopping.

I bought my 2017 Jeep Cherokee Sport brand new, in 2017. Had it for less than a year and it already needed a new battery. The just after 3 years, it would cut off for no reason. Then needed a new battery again. The off and on it would continually cut off while coming to a stop. Very unreliable and not safe. So disappointed in Jeep. The 2.4 L Engines have issues. They drink up the oil causing irregular oil changes, or having to continually top off the oil. There is a class action lawsuit on the matter. I just had to get rid of it. Awful experience, and the dealerships know of the issues, they will ignore you or pretend to fix the issue, they don't care.
