Transmission issues at less than 2 years old
i loved my Cherokee at first, but after awhile it started stalling when I accelerated. Eventually the transmission would completely stall when I accelerated. There were a couple of close calls when pulling out into traffic when it would stop moving and I was a sitting car in front of oncoming traffic. Thankfully I did not get into an accident. I took it to the dealership a couple of times, but they could not recreate issues. I ended up getting rid of it at less than 2 years old. Extremely disappointing.

WORSE VEHICLE EVER _ Hated it !
This SUV spend more time in 15 months that I had it. Between two dealerships and all the time they take to just look at it? Also between sounds like a transmission issue, I had a brand new engine put in it less than a year and sounds and issues just kept coming up and no one would listen at the dealerships because being a woman I guess they think I don't know about cars. I've lost so much money between the deductible on the warranty and time off work that I thought it was never going to end. I prayed and I thought to myself my God why? To only end up about a week ago rear-ending someone in traffic that was on the fast lane and all of a sudden he put on his brakes. Wow all the other traffic was moving. Of course that's on me by law and it is my first accident in 65 years of my life. So the insurance company decided to Total it and no I have no transportation due to all the money I put in that SUV and the funny part is that the SUV I just got out of the shop the night before with a shift assembly issue replaced. The month before it had the engine replaced. Since September of 2018 no one would listen to me at the dealerships. It had motor mounts put it had the motor to the wipers replaced it had some other issues on the passenger side replaced and the list went on, sadly I noticed it 9 days after I bought this 2014 Jeep Cherokee used at the dealership and it took them nine months to finally decide to look at it without any excuses and they still didn't find the issue so I took it to another dealership that's where the engine was replaced. All because it's was and it is a piece of junk. It doesn't matter if you have extended warranty or you have bumper to bumper warranty like I had! They find clauses and waste your time! I probably wouldn't to spend so much had I used Ober or Lyft for all my errands in the whole year and nothing I can do. That SUV was cursed and I'm glad it's gone except for the fact that now I have no money to buy a new vehicle and I am without transportation in the worst city for public transportation. Do not buy this car! The J for Jeep stands for junk the E4 everything and everyone problem that's what sheep stands for Jeep

My Latitude with Attitude
This 2014 Jeep Latitude has outperformed my expectations...in all areas. Other than oil changes- I haven't had any servicing issues- Extremely reliable and dependable. Great for all age groups/demographics . My driving is mostly highway - the experience has been great - safety, sound, and sublime!!! I highly recommend!

Lucky to be alive
When you come to a brief stop the transmission would not downshift any lower than 3rd gear. So when pulling out in traffic that was dangerous. I took my complaint to the dealer and they said they drove the same model jeep on their lot and it did the same thing so there was nothing wrong with it. I was the passenger in an accident. Wish I had read the jeep reviews before buying because a lot of people have this same complaint.

Jeep Sucks!
Car still has transmission issues. Putting a full tank of gas into it now makes it stall out. Not kidding.
