Stunningly Good
I have owned comparably sized Audi, Acura and BMW SUVs. I am somewhat surprised to say this, but I think the JAG F-Pace Portfolio 30t SUV may be my favorite. The ride, handling and acceleration is stunning. Only the BMW X5 4.4 I previously owned had more powerful acceleration. As for the steering/handling, this JAG (when placed in dynamic and sports mode) handles like a responsive sportscar. In fairness, so did the BMW X5 -- But BMW has unfortunately more recently gone with a looser steering mechanism that is not nearly as fun to drive. Also, this is a much lighter car than the previous X5 that I owned. As for comfort, the lower trim models (premier and prestige) are not as packed with features as the portfolio edition. For me, the comfort, design and feel of the portfolio package puts this SUV over the top. I also highly recommend making sure you get the heads up display which projects both speed and navigation instructions in a pleasing and easy to view manner. There are not a ton of these SUVs on the road, but I suspect that will change.

Prestige Series / Mostly Great
I upgraded from a 2018 "Premium" to a 2019 "Prestige" to get some additional features. The 30t vs 25t makes a world of difference in performance at no real detriment to mileage. In fact, if you are a careful driver, I've been able to get ~30 mpg in highway driving, not bad for a 296 horses machine. There are a lot of things to like about the car, (I love the styling and performance; not so much premium fuel); but there are still things missing on this model that you would expect to have as standard on a $$ Jaguar. The seats are now leather & dash is leather lined; there still is no standard satellite radio or CD, and because the installed antenna is only for radio you are not easily able to upgrade the system to received satellite; the standard headlights are now Xenon -- a big help in nighttime driving.; there now standard front or rear parking sensors -- a great driver assist, but still no blind-spot monitor -- you have to upgrade again for this. All of these things I have on a 2012 Volvo S80. I really expected more from a brand like Jaguar, but overall love the "Prestige" model.
