Used 2017 INFINITI QX60 SUV Consumer Reviews
Worst car ever!! And worst Customer service!
It is terrible when Infiniti customer relations (not Infiniti service facility) just doesn't care. I was told that my car had issues that are not common for most Infiniti's but as mine was made in Tennessee, it had some rare issues. These issues started since the first few month on purchase with a moldy smell from a/c as stated by service that just wasn't built right and they are looking to correct it. Had an accident where my auto brake didn't kick in cause of another malfunction. When called customer relations, they said I would have had to call them before repairs made and I didn't know it was the car until it happened a second time. When asked the service how often I should get checked, they said never- this almost never happens. Customer Relations still refuses to just get me a repurchase - which is basically giving me the car I paid for without the safety issues and concerns. It is sad when even my friends all know that my car is continually in the repair. It is also sad when the service department manager gives you the customer relations phone number with what to say because they feel I am there just a little too much. I just want what I paid so much for.

21st Century Luxury SUV
Expect to get unsolicited feedback on the exterior design (everybody loves the design). Overall mileage about 22 mpg, but road mileage is up about 26 or more. smooth power that makes it seem to be going slower than it is. Incredible safety features.

QX60 Truths
My wife's 2017, QX60 AWD with 87K. Recall on radiator coming loose from engine block, happened to us at 23k miles, dealer fixed w/ no cost. No issues. SUV backed into us in parking lot, it took several trips to dealership to fix collision detection sensors. Not all bad, at least we know it is a fine tuned technology vice other systems on the market. Eco mode in this is what I call "semi-sluggish" a little too eco. Jason reviewed "not as sporty as larger SUVs in its class" I would have to disagree. I driven most, Audi, BWM, Lexus, Acura etc... and the QX60 has a gem of a motor. Its CVT is top notch. A lot of buzz about CVTs in larger SUVs and for good reason, but it has been flawless for us. I would like to know what tires were on the vehicle that Jason reviewed on, TIRES MATTER. I'm running Pirelli-Scorpion Verde tires and the handling, response, braking and acceleration is at the top of its class. Many people forget to change shocks and struts around 70K that can lead to powertrain issues. If you're looking to buy around this mile range ensure you check or get it done. True, the third row seats are not ideal for taller people but who really has this problem for long enough it matters? Maybe if you carpool with over four people regularly. I've seen what the market is for our car and I can tell you I WILL NOT be selling it or least under 30k. Picking one of these up with regular maintenance records, good condition, no major accidents is one of the best values on the market. A lot of vehicles with less value (capability, technology, MPG, and space) and higher costs out there. I fully expect to get over 200k miles on our QX60 with only regular maintenance barring no idiot hits us on the highway. Shocks/struts, brakes, rotors, tires, liquid changes, air/oil filters, and that's it. Luxurious and peppy ride with respectable MPG, great tech and space, an underrated SUV worth taking serious.

Awesome SUV
The warranty is true and very accommodating. At 20000 miles had issue with the differential, infinity paid for the repairs and rentals cost was 5,000. Its 65,000 miles now and the reliability, power, peace of mind is superb!!)
Great Vehicle with a few annoying features
Overall the QX60 is a comfortable, beautifully finished vehicle. Mine is loaded with all options save for Theater Package. There are a few nagging features or rather lack thereof. 1) The radio turns off with the ignition, unlike my two older vehicles of different makes where the radio stays on until the driver's door is opened. 2) the main screen always resets to Navigation instead of last used. And then when one goes to radio, it always goes to the first set of presets rather than last used. Finally 3) there does not seem to be a "walk away" lock function that automatically locks the car for you. Oddly Nissan/Infiniti Blogs have complaints about them going back a number of years. It is strange that Nissan has not corrected them. UPDATE: The car is comfortable and nice looking both inside and out. But there are many annoying design features. The instrument cluster brightness button does not control the brightness on the main screen, which has to be done separately. It has a manual foot operated parking brake. The steering wheel material and feel were not on par with what a vehicle that stickered for $55K should have had. I put my own leather cover on it. The heated steering wheel button is located in a difficult to see pod of buttons down near the driver's left leg. That pod has the rear liftgate switch right next to its disable switch, so guess what gets hit accidentally a lot. The seat heat/cool controls are cheap plastic. The 15 speaker Bose Surround Sound System with subwoofer sounds nowhere near as good as the 9 speaker Harmon Kardon system in my other car. It rides comfortably but really is devoid of any driving pleasure. The front sensors for auto cruise control and accident avoidance become dysfunctional in heavy rain or a bit of snow. The auto cruise responds too slowly both in speeding up and slowing down the vehicle in heavy traffic.
