Versatilely, Reliability, Comfort & Value
Peter G., 12/12/2016
Exciting, it is not. BUT the QX60 does everything smoothly and very well. Perhaps I am alone, but I really like the CVT in this vehicle. I waited for the 2017 model, which upgraded the HP +30, the Torque +20 and slightly improved the handling.. Adult passengers love the rear seat. This entire class of SUVs is so extremely competitive, it is hard to go wrong with any of them. I took it easy on the options and ended up with a sticker price of $53,000. Replacement for 2013 JX35
JR, 1/19/2017
Bought this car a month ago, replacing my 2013 Infiniti JX35. Better power, smoother ride, quieter ride, dark carpets instead of beige a real advantage, a great ride. Is it good for off road, I'll never know, or will I care! Is it a great looking, great driving ride, absolutely! A big improvement over 2013 model Infiniti! Looked at Acura, Cadillac, Mazda, Lexus, and I was drawn back to Infiniti, so glad I was! After 18 months, my opinion hasn’t changed one bit. Dependable, comfortable, just finished a 1200 mile road trip, 25.7 mpg. Still get compliments on the looks, how can it be any better?
Jennifer Parker, 9/25/2017
This vehicle has major electrical problems! The screen goes completely black and nothing works, the safety features fail when driving. The only way to fix the electrical failures is to restart the QX60. This is not always possible when you are driving. All I have heard from the dealer is "Corporate is aware of the problems." I have video of these problems. It will stall right after starting. I have also contacted the NTSB over the headlights in this vehicle. They have such a poor range it is dangerous.
Have to say worse purchase ever
Sad Infiniti owner, 8/18/2017
We have had a large number of cars over the years of varied makes and models and I have to say this has been the worse one ever. The vehicle drives so poorly that none of the 5 drivers in our home want to "get stuck with the Infiniti". It has poor acceleration from and stop, and worse when entering a highway or passing. To maintain speed the driver must constantly be pressing on the gas pedal as the car gains little to no momentum. It has the same exact instruments as a Nissan Altima, at about 3x the cost. The brake pedal will travel almost to the floor at times. Sport mode makes little to no difference, the car drives and acts like the old go karts we all used at amusement parks. We tried to bring this sad vehicle back and were offered almost 12000 less then we paid as we were told they have a poor resale value. I guess we all make mistakes but if you can avoid this one you will be happier.

2017 INFINITI QX60 SUV for Sale

Sorry! There aren't any 2017 INFINITI QX60 for sale near you.
More about the 2017 INFINITI QX60

Quiet, comfortable and with room for seven, the 2017 Infiniti QX60 will appeal to those seeking an SUV with a premium badge, luxury appointments, and a price lower than most of its competitors.

Following a refresh of the 2016 model that added resculpted front and rear ends, new headlights and an upgraded suspension, changes for 2017 are not extensive. There's an enlarged multimedia screen and options that now include a hands-free liftgate and automatic high beams. But the most significant change is an upgraded V6 engine that produces more power (thanks to direct fuel injection) but maintains the same fuel efficiency as before.

The 3.5-liter V6 (295 horsepower, 270 pound-feet of torque) comes paired with a smooth-operating automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a choice of front- or all-wheel-drive configurations. The EPA rates the front-wheel-drive version of the QX60 at 22 mpg combined (20 city/27 highway). A hybrid model is also available for those who want to maximize mpg.

Built on the same platform as the Nissan Pathfinder, the QX60 offers more safety tech and driver assistance features than its stablemate, as well as interior and exterior styling that distinguishes it as a more elegant vehicle.

Infiniti cars typically balance premium features and materials with sporty performance. On the road, however, the QX60 clearly leans more comfort than sport. The ride is stable and controlled, but there’s considerable body roll when trying to hustle it through a corner, for example. The steering, too, feels overly heavy and resistant to give it any real performance pretensions. But as a solid family hauler, running errands or making road trips, the QX60 excels.

Inside, the QX60 surrounds passengers with upscale touches such as leather seats and wood accents, but a hard-plastic dashboard tends to detract from the overall luxury feel. Still, the interior offers many of the comfort and convenience features buyers expect in this class. The front seats offer generous head- and legroom, and those in the second row will find spacious accommodations as well (even if they may need to duck their heads when getting in and out). Third-row access is easier than in most seven-passenger SUVs thanks to a cleverly designed sliding and folding second-row.

The QX60 only comes in one well-equipped trim level, but it comes with heated leather seats, multizone climate control, a rearview camera, a power liftgate, Bluetooth and USB capability. A variety of optional packages allow buyers to pile on luxury, driver assistance and technology features. Whatever your preference, let Edmunds help you find the 2017 Infiniti QX60 that best meets your needs.
