Looks like nothing else on the road - and that makes this car even better! In the Turbo with full tech package, the interior is super sporty and very comfortable. Having Apple CarPlay and a panoramic roof make this car more fun then it gets credit. 201hp in the Turbo keeps great pace with more expensive cars and makes you want to always drive faster...even when you know you shouldn't ha! Coming out of first gear with the automatic takes a second (but that can be solved by the auto shifter or hand paddles if want the sportier feel) but the power is all mid range and it doesn't disappoint. Loaded it's almost $30k, but there are a lot of rebates. I previously had an Eclipse V6 loaded and the Veloster Turbo is just way more fun to drive! This car really knows how to hug the road. [UPDATE 9/14/2018: I've been driving my Veloster for over a year now and still love it as much as the day I first purchased it. The new Veloster is now hitting the market and feel like some of the design changes have taken away some of the reasons I liked the original - almost blends in too much with everything else on the road now. Glad I purchased mine when I did.] [UPDATE 3/17/2019: While the new Veloster offers some new great features not available at the time of my purchase of the previous design, hands down in my opinion the 2016 I currently own is just visually better looking. I have not doubt the new Veloster is a fun driving car, but so far this car has been issue free, fun to drive, looks great and has many many more miles and years to go. Great purchase and still earns 5 stars from this buyer - and has GREAT gas mileage.]

i bought a fully loaded turbo with the 7speed auto.i took this car for a long test drive before i purchased,and i can tell you that the negative reviews on here must be from people who bought the regular veloster.the turbo is a real pocket rocket.ride can be bumpy,but i knew this when i test drove the vehicle.i love the hyundai blue link,its awesome.

I looked at a lot of cars on the internet and read many reviews. The car I selected was the Hyundai Voloster, the price and the quality of the car is the reason. Got a great deal on 2016 close out, a vitamin c color turbo. The car sounds great on start up, I like a little noise from the pipes. The engine is smooth, the transmission takes some getting use to. The salesman said to help with the turbo. Took a trip at about 400 miles and was getting 39.6 mpg on highway. I really like the car, it does have some blind spots. But mirror adjustment solved that. I now have over 5000 miles on my car, still love it. Great gas mileage and a fun to drive. Have taken a few trips with car always great gas mileage and puts a smile on my face.

Brought this jewel home with 6 miles on the odometer! And can tell you its a true elite white diamond turbo so far!! Have almost 3500 miles on it already in 3 months already 2 road trips ! I to Sedona Arizona and its fast, quick, sporty enough handling, comfortable and does get a few looks!! Yes some nits are the transmission seems slow to respond probably my biggest gripe but its good on gas.the interior plastics on doors scratch easily. And visibility can be a hidden problem!! But hay for the money 24000 with rebates and fully loaded with the panoramic moonroof!!! I can hang with this diamond!!! Till next review enjoy!!! Im sold so far on the veloster turbo!!!

The car is one of the safest cars in it's class. I got a great price from Bowie Hyundai. Unfortunately about a 1 1/2 months after I purchased the loaded Turbo model I was broad sided on the driver side. and I was knocked over the curve. All of the airbags were activated at just the right amount of pressure as to protect but not injure me with the force. The car was totaled. Both rear wheels were knocked off and the driver side door was caved in. However, I did not get a scratch on me. I was just shaken up some. The claim adjuster gave me a few dollars more than the out the door price that i paid. The car did its job. As soon as The crash occurred I was contacted via the Hyundai system telling me that I had been in a crash and that they were sending assistance. What a great experience under such a horrible circumstance. I am in the market for another one exactly as the one that was totaled
