I looking for another one
The car is one of the safest cars in it's class. I got a great price from Bowie Hyundai. Unfortunately about a 1 1/2 months after I purchased the loaded Turbo model I was broad sided on the driver side. and I was knocked over the curve. All of the airbags were activated at just the right amount of pressure as to protect but not injure me with the force. The car was totaled. Both rear wheels were knocked off and the driver side door was caved in. However, I did not get a scratch on me. I was just shaken up some. The claim adjuster gave me a few dollars more than the out the door price that i paid. The car did its job. As soon as The crash occurred I was contacted via the Hyundai system telling me that I had been in a crash and that they were sending assistance. What a great experience under such a horrible circumstance. I am in the market for another one exactly as the one that was totaled

Great, fun car, for a low price
One of the more fun vehicles that I have driven, but not the best. However, you do get the bang for your buck! The options you get for $20K are phenomenal and you will not find that with any other vehicle in this class. The best part about this car? Modifications, this car adjusts to mods very well; I have about $2K in aftermarket parts on this car and have had ZERO issues. The one complaint I would have regarding performance is the DCT transmission, it is not the best but, I have heard that it is an issue with other Hyundai models. The interior and exterior are very nice, minus the cheap plastic that Hyundai is known for, I have yet to have any issues after 6 months of owning the vehicle. I get a lot of compliments on both the exterior and interior. The basic tech package is really good too, it's something that you would have to pay extra when purchasing other vehicles. I did forget one thing, the tires that come on this vehicle from the dealer SUCK! I am not a fan of the Kuhmo tires at all, they are absolutely terrible in rain and other road conditions. If you have the extra money, buy new tires before you hydroplane.

Absolute blast to drive.
For the driving enthusiast looking for great feedback from the road. Agile on the twisty roads, and acceleration that is fun, right up to the edge of intimidating. Fuel mileage was a surprise at 25 to 30mpg when pushing it, and 30 to 35mpg when taking it easy. Surprisingly good amount of usable storage space, and with the third door; easily accessible. Great audio system with integrated electronics plenty of connectivity options and remote access features similar to OnStar. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving this car and will consider a similar model for my next purchase as well!

Not a 19'
There is a newly revised 2019 model out now,but after viewing the base,Premium,Turbo, and R Spec interiors I was extremely disappointed. The quality of materials on the doors and the odd new center console sides are cheap plastics. The seats seem to be lifted from the Kia Soul, which most stand up comedians call DAD SEATS,or Lazyboy's...due to being wide. The ALL LEATHER my 2016 has with forming side bolsters are gone, and I HAVE NO IDEA WHY.The dash has a STANDUP radio that stays upright, which is very annoying and distracting.*The most distracting thing is the two OPPOSING body lines, the front arching and coming back CRAZY IVAN style. The rear dips down suddenly like an approaching overpass is too low.**Altogether the new 2019 doesn't even come close to my 2016 turbo with a fun six speed manual and quick thrust.I did not drive the 19',but the cheap interior and goofy sight lines ruin this car. My Veloster is unique looking, has a great interior, and is pretty quick for the price,If you buy a leftover 2017 with an auto and paddle shifters, they are almost gone but only $20k.

My First Turbo.....and Moved on...
I drove Mustang EcoBoost, Camaro V6, Honda Accord Coupe with CVT Paddle shifting what a joke.... and some other cars, I was looking for some Fun, Excitement, Fast, Quick, has tons of Mods available. Then I drove Veloster Turbo 2014, last customer Modified it with BOV & Intake and what a sound and quickness that had. Made me think about it. Then I did the research to see what is good for me and best bang for the buck, And Veloster had everything what i want it and more... What I paid for 2016 Veloster Ultra Black with 7k on it None of the above car come close, and none had the features what Veloster has. Its fast I mean it fast I made my friends scream, Its small and fun to Drive. So far I'm Loving it. Best of all love one part as long you don't mess around with Engine or Transmission Hyundai will cover it for 10 years... 100k... Seriously. Neat little car I love driving it and Gas mileage is good too, I was spending over 40 a week and now under 20 a week, It use to took me 30 to 40min to work, now it take me 15 to 20min to work with Fun.......I love it... I'll keep it... I'll drive it...I'll enjoy it.... Well its been over a year ago I Trade it with Lexus ES350 F Sport. Why because I grownup, it was becoming slow car need it faster more power then just Turbo. and Lexus gave me that. However its been a year I have Lexus and I want V8 or v6 with Turbo. It was a good car However bought it I am sure will be happy with it.
