Good car with a few issues

First off, if the issues to be mentioned are not important to you this car is a good one. Drives well, comfortable. And, when driving back roads (I live in a rural areas) at 64mph mostly I am getting 36mpg consistently. At highway speeds it tends to go down to about 29. The issues (at least for me): 1 As mentioned in another review, when you set the memory seat it only sets forward and backward movement to the seat. This is the first car I have EVER been in that, when you set memory seats, the outside mirrors are ignored. Which actually makes the memory buttons redundant as there is already a button to the side of the seat to do just this exactly. Since ther is a button to set the mirrors and another to move the seats it seems that should only be a software or firmware issue that could be easily upgraded. 2 Every car I have ever owned has defaulted to the radio screen when the car is cranked. Not so this vehicle. You get a disclaimer screen that stays on for about 10-15 sec (you can hit a button to remove it, EVERY time), then the screen is black except for the radio station playing in the left lower corner. 100% of the time when I crank up I want to go to the radio screen. With all of the various options on this vehicle you would think that defaulting the infotainment screen to radio would be one. Not so. The screen is a touch screen so, if you miss the exact spot you have to hit it again...and maybe again... These first two issues, if I had known about them, would have been deal-breakers for me and this car. Once you get past all the buttons, and resetting the outside mirrors every time someone else drives the car (we were down to one car for a few months so it happened a lot!) it is a nice car to drive. Minor issues: 1 Auto high beams have to be reset every time you turn the car off. I don't understand this either. I have found myself on back roads wondering why the lights are not brighter to find the auto high beams are not on. Not hard to turn them on but I don't understand why they would ever need to be off. 2 Homelink does not work when the car if off. I understand this was a conscious decision on Hyundai's part as a safety issue so that someone could not break into your car, parked in the driveway, and then get into your house. Not sure why that has become an issue with Hyundai but no other car maker. Oh, well, like I said, minor issue. All that said, if I had to do it over again, I would be driving something else today and would likely be much happier. It's the little things sometimes (all the time??)

I've searched several diffrent makes and models. We went with the tucson Limited. Best purchase ever made. We would recomment this to anyone.

I loved, loved my Palisade I bought 3 years ago but I was interested in downsizing. My children are out on their own now and I wanted something smaller but with a roomy feel. The Tucson is perfect and handles so well. So far I am very pleased.

It has everything any other big brand car has with regards of technology. The sunroof is amazing the 360 degree cameras are great! The fact that I can park my car with the remote in my car is insane! And many other gadgets! I love it!
