Used 2004 Hyundai Tiburon 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Te-Do's Evaluation
My Tiburon was purchased in Dallas, Texas. After driving the car back to Colorado Springs through the high plains of New Mexico and the mountains of Colorado I can honestly say this is the first coupe I've ever owned that climbed Raton Pass, NM in 5th gear. It was an eerie feeling knowing that I had to keep an eye on the speedometer otherwise I would unknowingly exceed the speed limit because the car held the road so well. The car overhead is too low to offer seating comfort in the back seat for an average adult. Otherwise I am thoroughly impressed with my Tiburon.
air bag trouble
I owned a 2004 Tiburon and loved it. That was until I hit a deer head on and spun into a wall head on. Every air bag in the car went off except for the driver's side air bag. And I was the only one in the car!

In need of good customer appreciation!!
Just because it is affordable doesn't mean the customer is always wrong! I have had a problem with it idling high, especially inbetween shifts, i have heard 3 different stories. I should have seen it when i test drove it, then i was told it was the throttle body which they fixed because the BBB was on their case, and then i was told i wouldnt have seen it when i tested because the computer changes the engine based on your driving. Which is a horrible idea that I have never heard of. Hyundai treated me like an idiot and they wanted no part in helping me. Also my fog light is not water tight and caused it to short out!
My Tibby
I'm 17 years old and still in high school so I needed something kinda sporty that I wouldnt get made fun of but still wouldnt kill me with insurance and gas prices. So after a month I finally found the Hyundai tiburon. I've owned it about a month now and I love it. I love the way it handles and the purr of the engine (even with a inline four cylinder) when I start it up and it idles. I wish it could go faster than 130 mph but I'm not complaining. The interior is pretty sweet. It doesnt look cheap. The body style is pretty slick looking too. I get a lot of looks when im driving around town. Being in a city in North Dakota you kinda stick out with a sportier car.
first timer
was unsure about hyundai at first... being a long time mitsubishi guy. the price and rebates attracted me. i'm pleasently suprised so far. lot's of car for the money and a great warranty.
