So far I am very happy with this purchase! The standard equipment is amazing. I have been pleasantly surprised by the fuel economy mixed i get around 26 and highway around 34 MPG. The car is very quiet. I am at only 4100 miles so far so will update as mileage increases.

Driver Camera

If you like being annoyed by driver messages because your hand is at 12 oclock position, or not being able to use cruise control while wearing sunglasses, or getting messages and cruise control turning off because you looked left or right then buy this car. Hyundai has gone overboard with this camera that watches the drivers eyes. Dealer won't tell you about it and if you don't use sunglasses or cruise when test driving you will never know. Now it's too late to trade in car because you will have lost too much.

Caught dead from a standing start

I’ve had this Santa Fe for eight months now. I haven’t figure all the powered options or tech. Some tech like the adaptive cruise I could do without. The anti hit everything is a pain when it goes off and you are trying to figure out what it saw.. The front two rows are very comfortable with heated and air seats. Very adjustable. The Drivers seat keeps forgetting it memory and sometimes makes it very hard to get into. The ride is nice , I would say a little soft. Now to the big one. The engine is awful. Let’s hope you don’t have to put the pedal to the metal while stopped. One of two things happen; nothing or you spin your front tires. When nothing happens it’s like there is no linkage to the throttle body. You keep peddling the gas and hoping and praying the suv will move. The second is as if there is no weight on the front end so you just spin and spin. You are thinking that this is a no win situation. Without the turbo you would be going nowhere not so fast. I’m a fan of turbos when they are set up correctly. This is not! I wish it had a six banger because it would get about the some fuel mileage but you would have 300 horses all though the power ban. I wish I had driven this before I bought it. It is my wife’s suv but I have to drive it when we are together. I complained so much my wife tells me to sell it. The depreciation would kill me so I still have it.

Great vehicle for the price

I have had many new vehicles, including lots of luxury and muscle cars. I am now retired and just wanted something with lots of features and comfortable to drive. My other car at the time was a Cadillac CT5-V, and I just wanted something I wouldn't have to worry about parking it anywhere and not worry about putting miles on it. I have seen where lots of people have had issues with these, but I have had none at all. I like the way it drives and got $6K off the sticker for a great deal. The features for the price is what sold me. I have the Limited model, which was the best deal I could get. I would have preferred the Calligraphy but decided I could live without the additional few features. I also really like the fact I can use my phone as the key. 6 months of ownership has been worry free.

Never did I think I would finally land on a Santa Fe when it was time to choose my next car. I am still a car enthusiast despite my age and still read all the latest info about new models and watch YouTube videos road testing vehicles. I am a car nerd. Conflicting is my commitment to erasing my carbon footprint I am a believer in climate change and worried about what we are doing to our planet. I want my eight grandchildren to have a healthy environment, so I was curious about how a hybrid would drive. Would I have to sacrifice my love of power and handling in order to improve my mpg? I drove the new 2025 Nissan Murano first since I have loved my 2016 Murano, but sadly the new 4 cyl turbo couldn’t compete with the old 6 cyl. The interior of the platinum is plush, but the thickness of the steering wheel was too much for my hands. I drove 3 other Nissans but had to leave my beloved dealership to resume the search. My husband loves his 2021 Santa Fe, so I went to test drive the 2025 Tuscan Hybrid. Fine car, but the front seat space felt tight. Even though originally I did not care for the boxy style of the redesigned Santa Fe, it started to grow on me. So, I decided to give it a try. I couldn’t believe it. It checked EVERY box--AWD, hybrid, luxurious, tech-ladened, and IIHSTop Safety Pick +. The interior is so comfortable that I don’t want to get out! Once I got used to the safety driving assistance features, I began to love the drive. Of course, it doesn’t handle like my sports cars from the past, but I am beginning to understand its road manners. At interstate cruising speed it performs, and I feel safe. The hybrid is already hitting 34.1 on the highway. Remarkable. I cannot wait to have to get in the car and drive! So I will have to say I already adore my boxy Santa Fe Hybrid. ❤️. It only gets BETTER!!
