Have had our S-F ….SEL 2.4 for 5 days now. Still learning all the features and controls. The 2.4 engine is just fine for our driving needs, it is very smooth and quiet when reaching speed also another plus is the ride and quietness of the vehicle. We think this SUV is a absolute bargain when we compared it to several others overall. Love the style both inside and out. I would recommend the all new 2019 model to anyone. The excellent warranty is another big plus for peace of mind. Yesterday I drove 50 miles and averaged 31.2 mpg, we could not be happier with our purchase. We also own a 2016 Subaru Outback Premium model. Dollar for dollar we like the Santa Fe much better. The all new style and standard features plus the warranty sold us on it. Also being built here in the USA is another plus.

I have recently upgraded to the 2019 Santa Fe SEL from my 2013 Dodge Dart Rallye and I couldn't be happier. I had a sporty car and needed something bigger because of my newly growing family. To me, my car has to be sporty and good looking, as well as great performance under the hood. My Santa Fe has all of these! It drives great, very comfortable and I feel very safe. With two young boys, the AWD feature was a must. I plan on driving this car for many years to come. I always look forward to taking it out on the road. Definitely recommend this car to families, who get a roomy car for a price that is not too hard on the wallet!

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Engine fatigues too much small engine for big body specially when you drive on smart or pleasure mode👉🏽 sport mode is ok , loud engine noise heard inside, I had 2013 Hyundai Sonata it's nice car and no engine noise listened inside but santa fe 2019 it’s a poor design

Not Quite Ready for Prime Time

This SUV has many features that are poorly engineered agronomically: The rear hatch is very slows to open and the opener, from outside, cannot be seen with the door open or closed--only in transit; The navigation system is poorly organized and the small and out of place indicators very distracting while driving; Just in passing only the Premier or top of the line has a parking assist; i.e, won't alert you before you hit the garage wall; The apple phone app works well with the Nav system, but the Android is a mess and when applied changes makes it confusing to get to your onboard data. I will leave the rest to you, but I wish WE had researched it more or maybe rented one for a week before we bought; had we done that we would not have this Hyundai SUV t. My comparisons here are with my 2016 Maxima, (which I wish I still had), in mind. AND remember the last time you purchased a car: Salespeople are shifty and never, ever buy the first day you talk with one. Their buying ceremony is setup to confuse and complicate the deal. Good Luck, make certain you are improving your ground transportation before you buy.

Great upgrade to my 2017 SF Sport

This thing has so many safety buzzers it can be a bit distracting, it also has an automatic cylinder shutoff which is distracting as well. Those two things aside, its a great SUV. I owned a 2017 SF sport prior to this model which was totaled by a texting driver(please don't text and drive)and this SF is a great upgrade. This SF is much easier to handle on the highway, has better fuel economy and a smoother ride than my 2017 sport. The interior is quieter, more refined, and just cozier than the sport as well. I don't have all the bells and whistles as I only own the base AWD, but it has so many safety features that my insurance premiums actually went down. If you are looking for a great ride for our dollar you're looking at the right SUV.
