The 1.6 engine and 6 speed auto makes this car a great value! It is solid and gets you from point A to B easily! The seats are comfortable and supportive. The stereo really sounds decent for a small car. The warranty is the best and can be expanded to a 10 year 120,000 bumper to bumper! You won't find that with any other small car! 13,000 miles and still no issues! Great little car!

Easy to drive in the city, and stable on the highways at 70+. My average mpg was around 30, and 0-60 was adequate.I think it has the most value as a commuter car, that can handle an occasional highway trip safely. The Accent is safe on the highway. I've rented another subcompact, which was comparable in size, not a Ford, that shook at 70, and felt like it would get blown off the road by trucks. Not the Accent. Good job Hyundai.

Best Little Car Ever

This is the second Hyundai Accent I have purchased. I have found this model to be reliable and truly TROUBLE FREE. I had no issues with my previous car and went ahead and have this one and I love it too! It is easy to drive and handles really well. I feel safe and in control when driving this car and that is important to me. I have owned both a Hyundai Sonata and now two Accents and I would recommend either model to anyone. They are wonderful cars and really deserve more than 5 stars in my estimation.

I have been buying Hyundai since 2003. I have never switched company's. What convinced me in buying a Hyundai a read Consumer Reports a long time ago about Hyundai cars. I read that BMW engineers came to Hyundai engineers to ask them for help in building BMW race car engines. Now, if that fact alone doesn't sell u on Hyundai I don't know wht other facts u need. Over my many years as a owner of a Hyundai, I would buy nothing else. I just purchased a 2017 Hyundai Accent with 10 miles on it right out of the showroom. The car is running like a dream, no problems , no issues. Built exceptionally well inside and out. I would recommend Hyundai to anyone today. The only thing I do is change the oil every 4000 miles or sometimes less. A dream car for me, with a dream pricetag to it, for all u get.

Cute car but noisy

I've been reading all of the reviews. I am shocked that no one mentioned the excessive cabin noise coming from the road and tires. Everyone tells me that that noise is normal. How can that be normal. I love the style of the car. the size, the roomy interior but that noise is too much for me. I took it back after 7 days. If someone could soundproof it I would go back and get another one. They say that different tires can make a difference. A smaller size, skinnier tires and a thicker side wall and also a different thread could eliminate some of that noise.

Purchased this car because I drive approximately 60 miles a day and needed something good on gas, comfortable and easy to drive. This little car was perfect. Although it had 5300 miles when purchased, I have added approximately 1400 since March 2018. The back seat can be a bit cramped if there are really tall people in the front seat. On the highway, the car has a smooth ride and is able to accelerate quickly when needed. The gas mileage is running about where I expected it to be, when using Ecoboost, which is around 34-35 MPG for combined highway and inter city driving. Not using the Ecoboost, for greater performance, the mileage still runs about 32-35 MPG. I have only had the vehicle for a month, but it seems as if it will be a great quality vehicle with acceptable maintenance costs. Warranty and extended warranty purchased through dealership should cover a majority of any problems that may arise between now and the time the loan is paid off. If you are in the market for a sporty looking, economical and comfortable small vehicle, consider the Hyundai Accent.

I bought a used 2017 Hyundai Accent in January 2019. Have had it a full year now, and fail to understand the lower ratings . . . ? Did they test drive it, and look at existing equipment inside? I noticed tire noise, also, but already knew that purchase of quieter-rated all season tires could resolve that nicely, and was also able to see the available equipment on the test drive. The Accent is a very basic, nicely constructed little car, with huge heart and great giddy up when merging into motorway traffic . . . nice sound system with CD player, too. Would have bought a new one if Hyundai had not discontinued the CD player. Truly appreciative, also, of the long warranty period and great dealer presence. Value for money is truly hard to surpass!

I recently bought a used Accent and I'm pretty happy with my purchase! I got a really good deal on this car and I have a long commute to work everyday so I'm very content with the fuel economy and overall drive of this car. So far the only downsides are how small the gas tank is (but makes for a cheap fill-up) and the fact that it didn't come with cruise control. For what I paid, I'm very happy with this car!

I purchased what's now "the top of the line" Accent, a value edition for my daughter after she totalled her 2013 Accent. This car is maybe one step above a stripped rental car. The quality of the interior is cheaper and less attractive than her 2013, the her 2013, which wasn't a top of the line Accent came with fog lights, auto dimming review mirror with compass, better quality interior and you were actually able to purchase a jack and spare tire for that car. I regret buying this car for her now but to late to get rid of it, it's only one month old and has a horrible resale value. Even the Hyundai dealer I bought it from didn't want to work with us to trade it in on a used Elantra. Poor resale value, absolutely bare minimum extras for a top of the line model, very dated styling, almost as if Hyundai went back to the Excel days of the 80's but without the cheap price. Guess she's stuck with this till she hits the break even point with her financing. Makes me think twice before buying a Hyundai again. In hinesight, the Kia Rio, which is their bottom of the line car is actually a better car. My own fault for not doing more research plus was under pressure as she needed a car quickly for getting to and from work, public transportation where we live is horrible.

The fault in this type of car is in the gas line. It’ll act like it wants to stop after I’ve traveled like say from Tulsa to sapulpa, or turning on my air conditioner. NOT happy 🤬

Usb port issues

As you accelerate, the usb flash will disconnect and back!!! Tried few of those usb/aux to see if the problem was caused by the port, but same issue! Changed the original radio with a different original one, worked well for 2 hrs and same problem existed again! After going deep into the issue, the 5v power was dropping to around 1.2v during acceleration! Checked everything there was to check!!! Replacing an alternator regulator was an issue as well-made! Once you take off the controls, the alternator worked just fine, but with controls connected, it charges well when stopping and didn't charge while driving Made! Made me hate the car which I have just bought!!! 64000 miles only!!!
