Bought my Hyundai a couple of weeks ago. For the money, it's an excellent value, so far. You shouldn't be expecting a Porsche for ~$10K. It gets me around very well. Warranty service has been great so far. I had the check engine light come on the day I bought it. Got right into the dealership, found the gas cap sensor sensed the gas station attendant hadn't properly tightened the gas cap. My son wouls like more zip, but this keeps him out of trouble.

This was my first ever car! It recently got totaled in an accident (other persons fault). I didn't have on a seat belt and walked away with some minor bruises! This little car is safe reliable and GREAT on gas! I would have rode this car til the wheels fell off if it hadn't been totaled!

The car ran great when I bought it in 2003. It had a relatively smooth ride, and could accelerate pretty fast. The problems started in 2006. First the RMPs would jump up pretty high when at a complete stop. I almost hit another car the 1st time it happened. I took it to the dealership, and they said I had voided my warranty by off roading. The most my car had seen of the wild was a gravel driveway. I took the car to a mechanic after that he looked at it and tried to fix the problem. I made it about 15 miles before it started again, but this time, I started hearing a loud metal banging metal noise. I called the mechanic back and they told me to bring it back ASAP, and not to drive it, but ha

Reason for no Haundai Lease!

There is a reason why Hyundai does not lease their vehicles. Simple reason - Hyundai cars depreciate so fast that you can feel the money being sucked out of your pocket. Why so much depreciation? Over the last 1 1/2 years and 120000 miles of owning this car, I have brought it into the shop over 8 times for different problems. Two problems will cost me when trade-in time comes, even though the problem was fixed. The last problem will cost me over $800, because the parts are not covered under the warranty.
