When I went looking for a new car to replace my 10 year old Honda Civic I was shocked at the price of a new car. I was just not in the market to pay outrageous car payments. My fiance suggested I look at the Hyundai Accent, I balked at first because in my mind they were UGLY!! But I went online and took a look, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only by the price but the looks and the warranty too. I have had my Accent for a year now and I still love it.

I bought this car because I needed reliable transportation with a low cost. The warranty was what suckered me in. The check engine light came on at 400mi. and has stayed on. I now have 28,000mi. I've taken it in to be looked at, and the dealership can't seem to figure out what is wrong. My dealership tried to charge me to look at the car. I had to call Hyundai to get a refund, and I still have the problem. Mechanically, otherwise, it has been fine...I have yet to be left stranded. I do plan to replace this car with another Toyota in a few months. I was hoping for similar quality, but sadly mistaken.

Well they always say " you get what you pay for ". In the 2002 Hyundai Accent I bought it was great for me considering I am a new driver. For a person who has never driven a car before, this one is great. If you are a mid aged person who has came from a volvo or mercedes, or even a nice honda like the accord or cr-v, then this isnt the car for you. This is a car for the low income, always satisfied conser who is jst looking for a car to get him/her from point "A" to point "B" with no pains. Also, by buying this car did I mention you can actually breathe and drive wth no worries? Hyundai has the best warrenty.

Have owned two Exels My 2002 Accent is by far the best raw $$ value on the market. I've only owned 5 speeds w/o air. Automatic with air would be a big mistake with this car. Its a blast to drive. Sips gas. Buy only the base model w/o any options and you will not go upside down. I drive it 40 miles per day and its just a fantastic value If you don't finance it figure 19 cents to 20 cents/ mile even at $2.00 gallon for gas over 60,000 miles. Sell off at 55k for half of what you paid for it and buy another new one, Ok in the snow Strong heater Plenty of power with 5 speed no air. 37 mpg HW Good Stereo.
