Used 2002 Hyundai Accent Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Hyundai Accent is a dream come true!!
This little car is reliable, comfortable and looks great!!. I have the GSI which comes with a sunroof, spoiler, cd playre, alloy wheels, etc. It has everything I want for a real affordable price!!
Great used car buy
Looking for a good used car to commute with that was $6,000 or under with low mileage. Found this 5-speed with A/C, spoiler, as a trade-in (not even on the lot) with only 25,500 miles on it. Paid cash. I was a little apprehensive but the people I knew who owned a Hyundai said they were good cars. Well, they're right. A great little compact with plenty of pep. Fun to drive and not a bad looking car as a bonus.

very functional
I have been driving mine for over a year now, including trips from Illinois to North Carolina, Nebraska and Tennessee. No problem driving through rain storms and a snow storm. I had ample power in the mountains. When I bought a computer system last summer, had no problem fitting all of the boxes inside. I regularly carry my bicycle inside. I am a small person, and the driver's seat is exactly the right size.
Great transportation
I bought my Accent instead of renting a car when my primary car was being repaired. 2 years later I still have the Hyundai, have let several people in my family borrow the car and I have had nor heard no complaints. It has never required any repairs what-so-ever. It gets good gas mileage and is comfortable to drive even on long trips. The interior noise level is a bit high at freeway speeds and it is lacking horsepower, but I didn't buy it with any great expectations of luxury or performance. I am very pleased with the car overall. I highly recommend it for it's class of vehicle - Good, Solid, Economical transportation.
Looks great
I just bought a new accent and it is a great car to drive and looks great to. I got a silver one with tinted windows and a rear spoiler. It looks like a sports car, but is great on gas and is a lot cheaper
