Three Year Review
Purchased August of 2016 with 153,000 miles. It now has 167,000 and going strong. I did have to order a new radiator which is a common problem on these and installed myself. Besides that, a new thermostat, and battery and that's it. I'm looking at another one that is a few years newer for a possible purchase. Too bad they quit making these, they were over built.

needs more power
the 5 cylinder engine is way under powered especialy when passing, this is due in most part to the 4700 lbs that it weighs which is almost as much as a 2wd nissan titan truck 2wd, the interior is very bland, and the abillity to shift between 2 and 4wd is not an option, for its size it feels very top heavy while cornering, this will be a good grocery getter , remember jeep liberty.

Orange Peel Baby!
Two points stick in my mind, a total lack of power and poor QC. The Black H3 I drove couldn't get out of it's own way and had heavy orange peel all over the body. Think of what anti-chip coating, which is normally applied to lower body panels looks like, now think of a whole vehicle that looks like it was painted with a roller. All of the in stock units had the same problem. Naturally, the dealer didn't seem to see a problem. The versions I looked at also had misaligned body and interior panels reminding me of a Cavalier. The H1's & 2's nearby did not look anywhere near as bad. A neat vehicle on paper, it's too bad it got executed the way it did. Look closely before you b
Re-Think it!
After owning this vehicle for a year, I am ready to trade it. Loved the looks, but it is over-rated. It really lacks power and acceleration speed. Good for gas, but not for passing. Foot pedals are much too close. Fiance has a size 13-14 shoe and refuses to drive it. Power window controls are too far back and it has MANY MANY blind spots. You can hide a Civic behind you and not see it in rear-view or side mirrors. (No joke) I am 5'11 athletic female and vehicle still feels a bit tight for us with the leg room we need. Car seats do not fit well in the back seat without MUCHO effort. Great with obstacles and offroading, but lack of power just makes it a downer. Really just for "looks."
Never Again!
My happiness last for about 3 months until the sunroof began to leak and hasn't stopped since. I have taken it in 5 times and each time they only want to replace the drain hose. I bought it preowned and learned after 2 years of ownership that the problem existed prior to purchase and it was never disclosed, now the warranty is up and they refuse to fix it. The leaks have caused stains on the seats, a foul odor, possible rust. It is now currently under investigation by GM. Not to mention all the other problems listed below: tire monitor unsteady alignment hood latch recall 2 new batteries electrical issues 2 a/c issues repaired rattles shocks have gone out and I only weight 175
