I just got my new H3 and tested it on NH's class six roads and regular highways- Super comfort and had a sure footed feeling all day. Coming out of 2004 4x4 Ford pick-up to this is like nothing I can describe. I give it 2 thumbs up-

Great SUV which gets a lot of looks! Poor visibility and a little bit of a rough ride.

I'm very pleased with my H-3. It's a little under powered, but with all the gears it's fine. I wish they had beefed up the front end a little. Tie rods look small and worry they may break under heavy offroading. Bigger motor would have been nice, but the mileage would have been a lot worst.

Thoroughly enjoy driving the H3; looks like the larger sibling, but easy to fit into normal sized parking spaces and has good gas economy. H3 gets alot of positive comments for its look and the main question asked is about gas mileage rating. I'm currently averaging about 18mpg combined city/freeway. The luxury model has leather seating and is very comfortable on longer trips. I've owned the Lexus RX300 and Nissan Murano SUVs and the H3 is a worthy competitor in the midsize market and should be considered a US SUV market challenge to all off-shore manufacturers.

Awesome off-road capabilty

Off road capabilities rivalled only by the H1 and some high end Rovers (maybe). Head turner. Acceleration wasn't as bad as expected for a Hummer, yet torque/towing capability needs to be enhanced (225/4500lb rating). Need to have optional seating for six or maybe even 7. Gas mileage is better than our Explorer.
