Worst new vehicle ever purchased

My 2013 Odyssey was way better. My 2018 brakes squeak been in the shop 5 times and just told they are fine and that it is normal? Vehicle last week was driving 75mph and had adaptive cruise control on and nobody was in front of me a vehicle exiting in the right lane and randomly vehicle slammed on break and I went from 75 down to 55 and the car behind me almost rear ended me. I sensed the vehicle to the side of me in another lane and randomly slammed on the brakes cause it thought it was in my lane. Seats a very uncomfortable. Power sliding doors are very slow and under powered. Auto lights at night constantly flash on and off brights even when cars are driving at you. I have owned 5 Honda and used to love them but I think I am going to have to move to another brand of vehicle

Nice looking car. The only 1K on the odometer, but already have issues. The driver sliding door stop working and not closing. I stopped on my way to conference open the door to pick up staff from back sits and can't close door anymore. Calls to Honda road assistance - they can offer only tall track and delivery me to close dealership. I don't know how - but I found the fuse block on the back of the trunk, opened this compartment and pull the yellow strap, something clicking and I can mechanically close the door and continue my trip. But it scares if such event happens when kids in the broken car and you can't continue your trip and can't return to home, with the open sliding door. Another aspect - the middle row sits removing procedures, a sit can't be folded and loc in this position as in the old model, they not lock inclining position, they are still flexible when you need to remove them and it makes this process more difficult if compare with the old model of Odyssey. Update - today Feb. 2021. I don't see the reported issue appears during all those years anymore. Change rating to 5 stars.

Buyer's Remorse

I bought two brand new Honda vehicles within the past 6 months. The first one was a Pilot AWD EX-L and the 2nd one the 2018 Honda Odyssey. The Odyssey has been a disappointment. The infotainment is glitchy sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The rear doors may not completely close and may require several attempts to get them to close. The front seats are harsh and uncomfortable. The seats on the Pilot are more comfortable. Acceleration in the Honda Odyssey is lackluster, I just can feel any the power. The Pilot is quirky even on ECCO mode. Forget about using ECCO mode on the Odyssey. The ACL is a pain and have caused some near misses like suddenly braking when trying to change a lane at freeway speeds. It also lacks enough USB ports and the gap in the middle console is hideous. I am not a fan of the push button transmission and emergency breaks. I would rather have then in the foot area. I should have bought another Honda Pilot instead of this land yacht.

We love our new Honda. We have owned three Hondas; 2000,2011, & now 2018. This is a great family car; it can hold 8 people & carry lots of luggage. The ECO gives great gas mileage. Entertainment technology offers a full range of accessible items for all passengers. Shop around for pricing; use the internet to find best pricing in your surrounding area.

Do NOT buy Honda

I used to be Honda loyal customer but 2018 Honda Odyssey problems and quality has left me thinking that Honda quality is not it used to be. Do not waste hardhearted money buying junk from Honda and dealing with problems later...
