Used 2018 Honda Odyssey EX-L 4dr Minivan w/Navigation and Rear Entertainment System (3.5L 6cyl 9A) Consumer Reviews
Love it!
We have had it one month and still getting used to it a bit, but generally love it so far. This is our second Honda Odyssey. The only two things that I've noticed so far is that going from 1st to 2nd gear it's not completely smooth. It doesn't really bother me but once you are past 2nd gear it's as smooth as can be which is why I've noticed a slight difference. The second thing is the entertainment system, when using XM radio, it will periodically jump to a station upon starting the car that I did not select (ex: Country or Korean Radio). I have found that I have to challenge myself to use the steering wheel controls as the touch panel your eyes get drawn to it longer than you probably want from the road to make selections. There are several features that you cannot engage in while driving & I understand the safety precautions driving this, but it is slightly frustrating.

You feel everything as the driver
I've owned this vehicle for 2 months now. This vehicle is off the charts for getting the best bang for the buck. The exterior is styled well; the front end looks great while the rear end looks 'fat.' The interior is fantastic - you have to see it for yourself; my only 'ish' would be that the 2nd row slide 'further' back for rear facing car seats and the third row sit a little further back by a couple inches - this is pretty picky though. Fuel economy is what Honda advertises, so no surprises here. Vehicle does take a minute to cool down in the back if it's hot out, but no big deal. Then the 'RIDE;' in normal mode, this vehicle will merge onto the highway and pass other vehicle's with ease. The transmission glides through it's gears once you're out of 1st and 2nd - these gears can be a bit clunky. Cabin noise is minimal compared to most vehicles in its price range and size. My BIGGEST issue by a mile is simply the 'ride' on the highway. Every ripple in the road is transmitted into the cabin of the vehicle. You can feel 'everything' via a 'subtle' vibration in the floor board, to the steering wheel, and the seat. I had the car checked, and they re-balanced the car tires which helped some, but did not cure the issue. The fact is, this is how the vehicle rides, so I advise you to 'truly test drive this vehicle' and feel everything it transmits into the cabin. Take it on the highway for a good 5 minutes and drive down a boulevard where you're doing 40 to 50 mph. On a more positive note, put the vehicle in 'sport' mode, and it might be the fastest vehicle you've ever driven. It sprints to 60 effortlessly and with ease gliding through its gears with purpose. But again, under normal driving on a smooth road, you will feel that smooth road's ripples in its asphalt being transmitted into the cabin of your Odyssey. Maybe i'm being a bit harsh in this department, but it's definitely not the vehicles highlight.

The best minivan on Planet Earth
Everything that you look for in a minivan is in Honda Odyssey, especially if you have a large family. Comfort and convinience it offers for everyone. Great for travel as it can accomodate your luggages and other stuff due to its cargo space. Better get this minivan if you want your life easier on your travels.

2018 Honda Odyssey
Excellent vehicle. Great ride, handling and performance which are the most important criteria to us. It also has allot of cargo space and the third row seats are comfortable and useful vs other minivans and SUV's. I do wish Honda had kept the right side camera to show you the right lane when changing lanes. Honda does not have a sensor on each side, but it will not go on till there is a vehicle very close. I feel they should have both: the sensor and the camera to make sure there is room and you are not cutting someone off. The GPS should also be able to order your saved destinations alphabetically, vs only by distance. Apple Car Play is excellent.
