Used 2018 Honda Odyssey Touring 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 10A) Consumer Reviews
Luckily my problems have been under warranty
I absoulutey bragged about this van until I hit 23k. At 23k all my dash lights went on. Had to take it back and forth 3 times only to find out both the spark plugs and fuel injectors went bad at 23k. I treat her well and was shocked when they showed me the pictures. Also, frustrating is honda has a book they have to go through each time before they can even touch the engine and testing it each time really gets frustrating. Tech told me if they had caught it earlier it wouldnt have gotten that far but again the book has to be followed. Car was fortunately under warranty but Ive never had a 2 year old car have this many mechanical problems. Also, Ac vents in back as mentioned are not the best but I disagree about the 3rd row cause those work great and are located on side wall(idk?) And can be adjusted. Main ac vents that suck are first row specifically for rear facing kiddos because its on the door stance and thats facing the back of the car seat. I DO know they scored better than Sienna on this year for safety and we bought new so thats good and also the detail touches are much better than Toyota by far even their sport model for the 18 was subpar to this and no entertainment systen. It is a very nice van over all and has every bell and whistle a mom would love *cabin cam* I just pray our mechanics stay in order from now on as a Honda shouldnt be having these issues and Im hoping this will be it.

Not So Great 😩
We purchased this van new. It was actually my second Odyssey. My 2010 Odyssey was a beast and VERY reliable. The current generation (2018+) of the Odyssey is not as dependable as the previous years. I had NINE safety recalls I had to get fixed through Honda on my 2018. Safety recalls happen when a manufacturer realizes there's a dangerous issue and it's cheaper to correct the problem instead of doing nothing and dealing with liability lawsuits later. These recalls do not include other problems l experienced that sent me back to the dealership like warping side panels and the blower motors going out in both the front and back rows. I went through the first winter in a 4-month-old $45,000 van with NO HEAT because Honda had so many defective blower motors the parts were on backorder. If you're still interested in the Odyssey or any of Honda’s newer vehicles with the button type shifters do yourself a favor and check out what is involved if you find yourself with one that won’t start. Unlike most vehicles it impossible to place the vehicle in neutral in case you need to push it to safety. It takes a tow truck driver who knows how to work on the transmissions to even tow it.

Great family touring vehicle
Bought the fully loaded odyssey for a road trip. Exceeded expectations with its own built in WiFi so my son could be on his computer during the endless hours of driving. Plenty of space for storage, good gas mileage.
My Honda Odyssey Touring, its exceptional
My children love this car on long as well as short drives. Easy to park with inbuilt assistance. Easy to drive with Adaptive Cruise Control option. Navigation is superb. Dashboards looks great and display is more robust in design. On whole we like the vehicle.

2018 Honda Odessey Touring is Good value
Acceleration feels like a 4 cylinder instead of 6. Gas mileage a lot lower than advertised even when using economy mode. But overall I’m pleased with it.
