2015 Honda Odyssey Touring 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 6A)

This is our second minivan for our family of five. We had a Toyota Sienna for 10 years (2005) and just upgraded to a 2015 Odyssey. It has very hard for me to go to Honda over Toyota, but in general, I liked the appearance and features of the interior better than the Sienna (dash was very "truck" and I wanted a bit more luxury). My husband loves the way this drives - quick and sharp handling. The three boys fit great, and we have room when needed for long trips. HOWEVER, we bought it September 3. It has been to the shop for a torn sun visor, weather stripping on a sliding door falling off (after 2 months of terrible wind noise at my ear, I was glad to have it fixed), two blown fuses for interior lights, AND now the wind noise is starting to be very bad at the driver's door. That's a lot of visits to the repair shop for a 39K vehicle. Perhaps we got a lemon and most don't have these issues? But for me, I have had buyer's remorse, and have thought more than once "should've stayed with Toyota" as we had one issue in ten years with that van. Looks good. Drives good. Functional. I'm just thankful for the new car warranty to cover all these small, petty issues!

When we had our second child, we were forced to face a cold hard fact: we needed a van. I looked at Sedona, Sienna and Odyssey. While I really liked it, poor resale kicked the Kia out of the running. While it felt a bit more powerful and had a bit more storage, poor fuel economy kicked out the Toyota. Among the many things we liked in the Honda were a reliable powertrain, sensible, comfortable interior, and good safety features like the side view camera and collision warning. We have now had our 2015 EX-L for about a year and 15,000 miles, and so far it is nothing shy of terrific. The dynamics are good, and it made a cross-country trip of 2500 miles a pleasant experience. When you consider reliability and resale, I think this car should jump to the top of the list. Update at 28509 miles: we continue to like and trust this van. Overall maintenance has been inexpensive and fuel economy remains good. A recent 2000 mole trip averaged about 27 mpg. The only issue is shaking front brakes, as a result of warped front rotors. Dealer offered to turn them under warranty. Other than that it's held up well.

2005 TO 2015

2015 Honda Odyssey LX 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
28 of 29 people found this review helpful

Yes, traded my old lady for a new version. Have had my LX for a few weeks and am happy with it. Runs very quiet and smooth. As for a comparison to my 2005: The driver's seat is ok but would prefer the old version and no adjustable seat. Just not a good trade off for me. With less padding, I feel the new seat fabric will wear out faster and it is not as comfortable. I miss the center console in front that you can actually reach. The new one is on the floor. (safety factor) The standard wheels look cheap. You can get better Honda wheels but you might need a second job. It is time to have the ability to fold the middle seats into the floor and have a flat storage surface. Tired of storing seats in the house. (dog friendly issue) Manual is a little hard to read. Taking the above into account, I still feel that the Odessey is the best van out there.

2015 Honda Odyssey EX-L 4dr Minivan w/Rear Entertainment (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
23 of 24 people found this review helpful

Traded in a 2009 Toyato Avalon with 68000 miles on it/ a totally problem free vehicle. The Honda van offers great mpg, better then the Avalon-6 speed transmission is wonderful. Love the rear entertainment center, ease of controls , back up camera, side camera and low noise whether in city or on highway! Drives like a expensive large sedan. Like the styling . As of May 2017 the Van has 22000 miles on it and still handles great, looks nice, and we are still getting 20 MPG in town and 28/29 on Hiway. As of June 2018 the Van has around 33,000 on it and is hardly broken in...it's a great family vehicle. Very quiet and lots of power. Getting ready for it's 30,000 miles tune up....around $300 or so but worth it to keep this fine vehicle in tip top running order. Only problem was that the rubber mat below the gas pedal wore out...huge cracks in it.. So I put the carpeted floor mats in and I like them better even if the rubber mats were more durable. They just look better. January 2020: The Van will be 5 yrs old this August.; has around 46,000 miles on it. We still love it and haven't had one problem with it. It runs and drives like the first day we purchased it.August 2020...no problems. Replaced the battery as it was 5 yrs old. Love the van, easy to drive and so much more room then an SUV.

I'm new to minivans, and very happy with my purchase of a 2015 Honda Odyssey EX. It handles like a car, but can seat 8 passengers comfortably (6 with plenty of room to spread out), and still plenty of cargo space. It has a very quite cabin, feels solid and well refined. It includes some nice tech (most new cars do) and is sportier than other minivans. I chose the EX because I don't care for leather (it's no fun after baking in the hot Texas sun). My biggest grip is some of the features I would like (power lift gate, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning) are only available with leather. I Also think the interior is a little "cheap" feeling compared the the Toyota Sienna LE.

As owner of only Honda or Toyota for the past 20 years, this will be a fair and honest review because I want/wanted to love this van forever...really! Here's the good: overall feeling of Honda quality. The van is VERY well designed for families! Pretty sure a woman was involved in that aspect...there's a spot for everything and more. Love the looks in and out. Overall design is fantastic!! Feels very safe, LOVE the side view camera!!! Fuel efficiency is amazing, especially on highway we easily get 27-29+ MPG. What I hate: cheap feeling cloth interior and transmission! I do a lot of city driving and initial acceleration causes whiplash...very jumpy and noisy. So I wanted to say this is my favorite vehicle ever but unfortunately ours has been very troubled. At 2,000 miles the steering wheel randomly "popped" loudly while turning. Was told I'm "the 1st one to have this complaint." It was very difficult to reproduce with Honda tech (of course!) but finally did. Tech said his wife's 2015 does this also. So dealer took new one off the lot and that one did it too!! After keeping my van a few days the dealership along with Honda tried to tell us it was normal. Trust me, if I heard this steering wheel pop when I drove it off the lot w/4 miles on it I would have brought it right back!!!! So finally at 3,800 miles at our insistence (we had to raise a stink) they did replace the steering column which has been a good fix so far. Next, at the 5,000 mile mark the sliding door motor failed causing the door to become STUCK IN THE OPEN POSITION! This happened on a rainy holiday weekend. The van is not fun to drive with an open door! Eventually rain stopped and I was able to drive it to the dealership as other drivers honked/gestured at me. The tech couldn't get the door closed after trying for an hour. Required the entire interior being dismantled. New door motor from Honda ordered and installed but FAULTY! Another door motor finally did the trick. What a mess!! So glad we did a sign & drive lease as I think my van was assembled the day after the Super Bowl. My in-laws bought a 2015 EX-L the same week we did and have had no problems. Thankfully our dealership has taken care of us so far (reluctantly) but there's NO WAY I'm keeping this van once the warranty is done!!! It's been "undriveable" 3 days PLUS 10 days in the shop over the course of 5 months. Honda IS NOT what it used to be :( 22,000 MILE UPDATE: Steering has developed a new and frequent snapping/clicking sound different from the one we experienced at 2,000 miles. Also, rattling and creaking noises in front and rear of vehicle over slightest bumps. Not sure if this is interior or a suspension issue. Transmission awful...VERY "jerky" and notice 22nd & 3rd gear seem to slip frequently. How many issues should I have to ask the service department to look at on a new vehicle? I guess we just turn the music up louder! Can't wait for this lease to be over.

We checked out the Sienna, Odyssey and Caravan. We felt that the Odyssey offered the best combination of handling (still not very good, but it is a van), interior layout, safety and resale value. Overall we've been very happy with the van in our first 15 months of ownership. The only thing that I would change if I could would be to add extra sound insulation in the wheel wells. Maybe it's because we are in the PNW, but many of the roads here elicit massive tire noise inside the van. It gets really fatiguing to drive for distances on certain highways. Other than the tire noise, love the van. We went with the EX for power doors, but didn't want to spend all the extra money just for leather in the EX-L. We get 26-27 mpg going 75mph on road trips over the mountains, only about 18-20 in day to day driving. Over three years in now and haven't had to do anything other than change the fluids.

second Honda, but first minivan, but what a ride. I love the blind spot camera on the passenger side, the builtin car length marker comes in handy when you have a full crew in the van. Quiet and smooth ride. Also the cool-box is awesome. Right out of the gate I got 25 MPG on my first tank, and after 5,000 miles things are still great in this family hauling golf party machine.

Panel Fit - are you KIDDING me?

I bought my Touring a few weeks ago. I am a car detailer and I have my own business. Been so busy that I just got around to detailing/sealant and glass coating/etc of my van. One REALLY notices the small stuff when you detail a car. I noticed the drivers front fender looked not in line with the front door. After checking other Odysseys, they were the same - and I noticed it's from the angle they wanted obtain by having the fender bow out around the wheel/tire ... and they started this change in angle immediately from the front fender/door gap. OK - I can buy that. Then I looked at my passenger side. It's level of protrusion outward is HALF that of the drivers side. They are NOT the same. So I drove to my dealer and looked at the 20 or so 2015's and 16's they had on the lot. The angles and protrusions NEVER matched on any car I looked at. Sometimes the passenger side stuck out further; and sometimes (as in mine) the drivers side stuck out more. I am a BMW aficionado - but my wife and I wanted a TRUE 7-8 passenger van as we have 8 grandkids. OK - going to a van means I will give up driving dynamics. But I didn't expect to give up parts that fit. I have a body shop friend, and he looked at it and said "wow, it's a Japanese van so you'd think panel/fender fit would be better than that". I love the van. But with all the competition out there for roughly the same price, why would I choose a Honda again if they can't get panel fitment correct?

I am coming to Honda from a 2013 Kia Sorento. I need a vehicle with more passenger room, and the Honda seems like a logical choice. While I love the room, comfort, and the extras...Honda is really lacking in the tech department without paying outrageous amounts. My base Kia UVO seems years a head of this Honda. For one, The initial voice is clear and loud, but the secondary voice sounds like an 80's answering machine. You are very limited in voice commands, like you cannot adjust radio or anything else, you basically can only tell it who to call. The phone interface seems to be for phones before the smart phone era, and hooking your iPhone via Bluetooth seems like you are losing a lot. I love my Honda but the technology or lack of it gives me second thoughts, seeing that it feels like it is 10 year old technology even though it looks awesome. One power supply and usb port in the front...and nothing in the back...really Honda! I hope there is a software update soon, or something, otherwise in 3 years, I will be looking elsewhere. I love the van...but technology is something you use all the time while driving and on trips.

The car is very functunal. The only wish is that Honda would make a 4 wheel drive Odyssey like the Toyota Sieanna. My 2005 Odyssey had 228,600 miles with no major problems. It was the best car I ever owned.

Too much wind noise

Radio/Nav unit died after 10 miles out of the dealership. The left front corner of the moonroof was sticking up a little. On highway (70mph), I can hear a lot of wind noise from the ceiling - near windshield. The day I took it to Honda dealer to check on the noise, I also got a message to check the fuel cap. The technician heard the noise, but the noise was the same when test-driving another 2015 Odyssey. So, he could not tell if anything was defective. Today, I drove the van with a service manager any an American Honda Rep. We heard the noise, but it was concluded that it was due to the exterior design of the trims. I'm wondering why many Odyssey reviews on popular sites say "quiet"???

As my wife laughingly says, "Nothing is sexier then man in a van." This Odyssey is the most practical awesome vehicle you can buy. Seriously, why wouldn't everyone have a minivan? Do you really need an SUV (many are on car frames), or a monster full size truck to offset your viagra prescription? Nothing wrong with them, if you need them, but this is the most practical car you can own. OK, I will admit that I have a truck, SUV, and a car, but I am always taking everyone around town in my van because we can't fit anyone in their car/SUV. Eight people, no problem! Car seats, no problem! Traveling long distances, no problem! Tow a small boat or trailer, no problem! On my last trip I had six adults, with luggage, dog, 1200 mile trip, 26 mpg, and plenty of comfort. All that for under $33,000. This is my third minivan, and they are great. I have had this Odyssey for 5 years now. I replaced a battery, tires, and had routine oil changes. That's it! The van drives great, it's quiet, comfortable, dependable, sure footed in the rain, and handles very well in the city and highway. This "man in a van" sure loves his van!

This is my second Honda Odyssey in two years! All-in-all, it is a great mini-van. My kids love the comfort of the second and third rows. The overall handling is fantastic for a van. I especially like the xenon headlights, sound system and vacuum cleaner offered in the Elite trim level. Honda did a great job returning solid fuel economy of approximately 24 mpg combined city and highway driving for me. The van's engine is incredibly smooth and quiet! Now, my only two complaints:1) The front passenger's seat is uncomfortable for long trips! Honda would knock it out of the park if they would address its comfort! More padding would be nice; especially on the premium trim levels.

Great mini van with few flaws

5 of 5 people found this review helpful

We just recently traded our 2015 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite after driving it nearly 120k miles over 4.5 years. Most reviews do it justice - it's a great van that will deliver with Honda reliability. Our family grew from 5 to 6 and the space, versatility, and features are worthy even in 2019. The gas mileage seemed to range from high teens (~18 mpg) in the city to low/mid-20's (~22-24 mpg) highway loaded up. I didn't always track it, but the best we ever recorded was 26 mpg. While not luxurious, it definitely has enough space, comfort, and features to keep you and your family comfortable on any road trip. The good: seating for 8; 7 comfortably, but 8 is reasonable for short trips or kids. The middle row can be modified for tight, spacious, or the middle seat can be outright removed. Lots of room for luggage and creative seating arrangements and the "magic stow" 3rd row seats are awesome. The very back is spacious with a deep storage bin, which means you can fit several full size suitcases even with all seats up. The 3rd row is good for kids or 2 adults on shorter trips. You can also remove all of the 2nd row seats and have an amazing storage space that rivals pick ups. The entertainment system is awesome, although only DVD vice Blu Ray. The screen is logically placed and has nice resolution. There's a 120V outlet in the back along with an HDMI input (although on opposite sides - what's up with that, Honda???). The sound system, built in navigation, a/c and almost everything else all worked great. Finally, having sliding rear doors is great in that you can park in tighter spaces and not have to worry about kids hitting the car next to you. The bad: the cruise control was horrible. I mean, we used it, but it was more like a "the Odyssey feels like going close to this speed" control. Most of our driving is in Florida, so we don't have much terrain/hills. Yet, the Odyssey would routinely slow speed to 4-5 mph below what was set, then leisurely resume speed, only to randomly slow again. Sometimes it would come back to the set speed, other times it would essentially reset itself to a slower speed. Yes, this was taken to two Honda dealer service centers only to be told that "it was normal." The other issue is that the alternator can't keep up with the power demands - so more frequent battery replacements will be expected. At least this is what our tow truck driver explained to us the only time our Odyssey gave us problems. Finally, the power sliding side doors would sometimes have to be reset by adjusting the child lock control switch off and on. Ultimately, I would recommend this van!

Noisy Ride (Wind and Road)

We just purchased a 2015 Honda Odyssey and traded in our 2012 Pilot. I loved my Pilot but we decided to make the switch with the addition of our 3rd kiddo. Unfortunately, I'm not pleased at all with the exchange. While the van is attractive and has all of the bells and whistles, it doesn't make up for the extremely noisy cabin which is filled with road and wind noise, even at low speeds. I'm not sure if I'm overly sensitive due to driving my quiet Pilot for the last 3 years, or if there is something actually wrong with the Odyssey. I would expect more for the amount of money that you spend. The Dealership can find nothing wrong with the noise and has told me that it has to do with where the driver sits over the wheels and possibly the quality of the tires. Just something for future buyers to be aware of. Make sure you test drive it for more than a 10 minute drive, turn off the radio and pay close attention before you sign.

I love my Odyssey! Nothing like smoking a boy-racer in a Civic with my minivan. :-) Pros: Great mileage, roomy and very comfortable on short or long trips. You can seat 8 and still have room for their luggage. (Had 3 kids, Wife and her 3 sisters plus luggage). I drove for Uber for an year with my vehicle. Received several compliments on the appearance and comfort from riders. It handles great in the snow! Honda moved the air intake up from the bottom of the vehicle to the current position over/next to front left head light. I had a 2007 Odyssey that would come close to stalling in high water in Norfolk. Cons: The squeaking from the sliding doors over inclines and bumps. This was not an issue in my 2007 Odyssey. Air vents in the ceiling removed support for the structure. The new 2018 Odyssey is quiet - no door squeak. The floor covering in the vehicle is cheap and of low quality; especially in the trunk area. The same goes for the entertainment center, not reliable when connected with cellular device.. Over all review. I will be keeping my Barron (Odyssey) until 250 k - it is the mileage it was design to reach. I enjoy driving my Barron. The wife and I love taking road trips in quiet comfort. I would highly recommend the 2015 Odyssey.

Dealer tried to fix that problem by upgrading software flashing transmission fluid but it did not work so I have driven this car always in expectation that something is going to happen and it did jerk again, this time they change pressure switch for which I had to pay because warranty expired. Seems like finally that problem was corrected but now I probably will stay away from buying another Honda

Had my van 3 months and the passenger side door crapped out.... I have to spend $700 to get it fixed! Found out after I bought the van that Odysseys are known for automatic door problems. Freaking awesome. I bought it with 40k and I only use my van to go to the grocery store on Fridays so it really shouldn't have broken already. Something to really consider if you buy this van...

I've had previous experience with Honda's and Acura's (9 previous vehicles owned/leased to be exact), but it came time to me to experiment with other car manufacturers, but the quality from those other brands did not hold up well compared to Honda. My only gripe that I can think for the Honda Odyssey is the MPG, but hey, who can complain about 19 MPG when you are hauling a family around with cargo in the back.

This is my third odyssey - I loved my minivans but this 2015 not so much. I just traded my 2010 touring for the 2015 exl with nav I was told the only difference was the vacuum and bigger tv screen..Since I didn't need either I went with the model below the elite and I am not happy...the driver set up is Not convenient at all..they got rid off the cup holders that we in the dash so you now have to look down while driving..the cargo box in the front is a big empty box...which mean a bunch of unorganized junk...there is no coin holder for travel tolls...and more so my biggest disappointment is the radio quality! I feel like I am listening to my 1980s radio as a teenager...

2015 TOURING Major complaints: Bone jarring ride; Road/wind noise unsatisfactory; Front seats uncomfortable and difficult/painful to ingress/egress. Minor complaints: Awkward steering wheel adjustment required for drivers of different size; Driver seat belt painful without extender; Infotainment system not intuitive and way too complicated; Lane change and collision alert not ready for "prime time". 2016 UPDATE!!! STILL LIKE MINIVAN CONFIGURATION. NEW CHRYSLER WAS GREAT EXCEPT SEATS WERE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ME. BOUGHT BUICK ENCLAVE! 2018 Miss low floor and sliding doors of minivan. Otherwise, Buick is a great vehicle. PLUSES: No servace problems. Handling good. Rear view camera is great. Navigation screen location great CONCLUSION: Young person may love this car. Honda has lost an older customer!

The odometer is off. I believe the milage is inflated. I complained to Honda. They said it was correct. I traveled from lower Michigan to central Florida. At most milage should have been +1,400. The odometer was + 2,100 miles. IT IS AT LEAST 25% INFLATED. BUYER BEWARE.

WIND NOISE BY DESIGN ???

I own 2016 Honda Odyssey for the past year and half. I love this minivan EXCEPT the WIND NOISE THAT IS DAMPENING THE EARS. It is coming even at 30 mph driving in very smooth road surface. After buying the vehicle I have noticed this in next couple of days. Googled all over the web and took a print out from the odyssey club where they were discussing replacing windshield side trims. I show it to the service manager and they did replace the rubber. But it not help. There are people saying it is due to their Anti Noise Cancelling circuit. Honda has long history and they are not able to solve this little issue. May be there were not enough people complained about it. I'm thinking of calling Honda consumer department. Dealers are not helpful on this at all. Edumnds and KBB sites review does not mention this at all. I remember my 1997 Camry was very quiet and it did not have any ANC circuit !! This issues is really causing headache when you drive long distances.

I owned a 2015 Honda Odyssey, I is the worst car that I had ever owned. When driving it has so many noises coming from the sliding doors, the front of the car and from the rear that it feels like I am driving a 1990 minivan. The dealership has checked the car for over 12 times not finding the problems, I contacted Honda of America and their answer was to get an appointment at a different dealership. It is amazing that after paying close to 34k and in less than a year I owned a junk instead of a Honda. Won't recommend Honda to anyone, not even to my worst enemy. I finally sold it. No more Honda for me.

We took our 1 year old Odyssey in for it's first oil change and they found leaking oil around a head gasket. The head was warped and had to be planed down - major engine repair on a van with 5,000 miles on it. Honda, and the dealership, said "tough". Tried to give us $3,000 less than the trade in value of our van for a new one and wanted nothing to do with us. Unbelievably despicable treatment. The problem obviously originated in the factory - it had 12 miles on it when we bought it. I called Honda corporate and they said they would repair it as long as it was under warranty. We don't want the van because we know it is going to be a problem, but they don't care. They don't want it back. A reputable company would have said "sorry, that shouldn't have happened, let us fix this". They sold us a defective product and now we are stuck with it. We also have a Honda Ridgeline but no more Hondas. Despicable company that does not know how to treat their customers.

Something happened after the 2012 Odyssey that caused the Honda entertainment system people to lose their minds. The 2015 system is horrible. Pairing with a phone is touch-and-go at best, voice commands are impossible to use, if you're using phone navigation (Waze etc) you can't also use the radio or other audio sources. It is all clunky, hard to use and a really inferior experience. The addition of a side-view blind-spot camera was cute, but for my money I'd rather have a front-of-car parking camera. The side-view camera is distracting and doesn't really provide a very useful image most of the time. The 2012 Odyssey was a much better car in terms of features than the 2015.

Vehicle purchased brand new and has been a disapointment since. Total front brakes SHOT at approx 30,000 miles? UNACCEPTABLE! Electrical issues, excessive wind/road noise, acceleration/transmission hesitation when trying to pick up speed after stopping, tire inflation sensors faulty due to excessive corrosion between different types of material (wheel/valve stems) also causing regular leaking/lowering air/tire pressure, and even worse, it has been nearly impossible to obtain warranty service as Honda Dealerships don't recognize other Honda Dealerships service contracts. Never ever again will I or any family members purchase another Honda vehicle of any kind.

There seems to be a lot of 2014 and 2015 models coming off lease. Prices are pretty good. I traded my 2010 Odyssey and bought the 2015. It’s a great step up but also familiar. Engine is great, seats are comfortable, and it just drives well and reliably. I test drive the 2018 and it’s fantastic but the used prices make them a better value.

Don't bother to purchase this vehicle with navigation. Your smart phone will serve you better. Routing is poor and it gives you the wrong time frame which the trip will take you, generally adding an hour or more to your trip. We gave it the benefit of the doubt many times and were so sorry we did. We will never again use the onboard navigation system. (I didn't even mention how un-user friendly it is to put an address into the system) Don't waste your money on this feature!

When I bought my odyssey, I expressed concern that there was only one jack to plug in my gps/phone. I've never seen a car, especially a van with only one jack. It was pointed out that there was a USB port which would charge my phone while I used the jack for the gps. Well, after two 3hour sittings at the service department trying to figure out why my phone doesn't charge in the USB port and why I can't keep it plugged into the USB port while listening to an audible book, I was told the USB only works with Iphones! Even the service guys did not know this and couldn't believe it! I have an android phone, therefore the usb is useless for me. And when I plug a multi jack into the regular jack it doesn't stay with a good connection. My other pet peave is I have had the service guys try to fix the car so when it is put in park, all doors unlock. Apparently this is not possible either. It is extremely annoying to get out of the car and try to open the back door or hatch, then have to go back in to hit the unlock button on the door. Or to always have to hit the unlock button to let a passenger in. The more I drive this van, the more I wish I had stuck with the Toyota previa. When I first got the car, My son really liked it and decided this summer to trade in his car for an odyssey. After two months of having this car, he said he'd never get an odyssey.

Having enjoyed the Honda Odyssey for 40 months & 51,500 miles. Overall a much better Van that the previous 4 Chrysler Town & Country vans. Only exception and suggested improvements would be to the middle row seating going into the floor like the Chrysler T&C. The Honda seating is more comfortable than any other Van that I have driven. Honda Dealer service network is excellent, but they are always trying to Up Sell their Coustomer.

Honda Odyssey Is The Last of the Mohicans

Honda Odyssey 2015 Touring is a Pinnacle of Honda engineering which closes era of brilliantly reliable and no non-sense-eco-gadgets cars (4gen 2014-2017). My family of two adults and four kids from Czech Republic (Europe) needed badly when fourth kid incoming a reliable, comfy, strong and safe car, which is impossible to get in Europe lately and if so, for absolutely nonsense money, so people have to replace here with microbuses (mid-size-van) downgrading their comfort (basically utility vehicles) for multiplied price without any premium, even it is sold as premium make car. We imported Odyssey 2015 with minor crash in 4/2020 with 88k km and literally all neccessary servicing was predicted by manufacturer, so in 2024 there is no accident and unpredicted service maintenance so far with almost 200k km mileage. Engine goes strong, sound and reliable, comfort is undisputable for such a family almost all time producing a terrible mess and integrated vacuum cleaner HondaVac is a really helper - which will never come back due to chip shortage as well as fantastic integrated cooler for enough beverages and stuff. Highest trim Touring (Canada) is also must for us, because memory seats eased for two adults usage (former civic estate 2016 had only manual..) and dvd system is also a must for any l onger journey which lieads me to mention aboslutely fantastic sound system which makes interiour real cinema with sound all around (5.1 surround and more than 600W+subwoofer). Also higherst trim brings blind spot assistant and fog lights which are in fact only neccessary assistants needed with great reverse 180°camera and sensors - lane departure warning or front collision warning is in CZ really for nothing. And space for everything all around. For basics is usualy in Europe direly paid like it is a luxury we do not deserve in standard (quite insulting approach). I wish demand in Europe asks loudly for these cars more and if possible without non-sense-eco-gadgets nobody wants. If there is need to get another Odyssey, I am falling for 2014-2017 Touring/Elite again.

STAY ONTOP OF MAINTENANCE!!! Bought used with 70,000 km. Replaced all common issues minus transmission and full engine. I repair anything that went wrong most major is both lower struts. Everything else original. Now with over 400,000 km this van runs very smooth with no hesitation. When I tell friends or family who asks how the van drive do nice I tell them MAINTENANCE!! It's my bread and butter for work and family. Live in Toronto and drive to NYC many times and Florida with literally no issues.

Have a 2006 Odyssey and the 2015 is roomier, quieter and loaded with technology. Go for the Touring Elite. I feel like I am at the movies with surround sound in the car. I swore E.T. was in the front seat with me when the kids were watching a movie in the back. We are still keeping our 2006, but the 2015 is a pleasure to drive.
