Family Tested for two years
I raised my two babies in a Caddy DeVille. At ages 5 and 8 it was time to trade into a minivan. Uggg! After months of research, Honda kept coming up on top. My mom has a 2002 with 155k miles and still drives like new. So, decision made. It is no where near as comfy as the Caddy. But I cannot compare it to a Caddy because, well, that wouldn't be fair. The van drives tight. It has good acceleration when asked. The interior has so far been kid-proof. The automatic side doors are a must for kids. No worries of them flinging a door open into other cars when parked. I put almost 20k miles per year on it. It is doing well and I hope to run it for many more years, and still profit
JUNK! Sorry I bought it...
Bad transmission. Need a torque converter, and so far dealer and Honda refuse to help. Van is still under warranty. Also had steering pump replaced. Doors do not work properly. Pinging engine. Honda rep told me that the company does not take into consideration what customers write about their vehicles online. Maybe they will care after potential buyers read the numerous bad reviews of the Odyssey.

Improvements to EX-L would make it GREAT
Purchased in early December and took a 2,000 mile road trip averaging 23.5 mpg on the hwy. Handles extremely well
Honda Odyssey
Heavy to drive and after two years I started hearing noises on the right door. Power is not consistent. Sometimes good acceleration, most of the time bad acceleration.
Long mileage freek
