Used 2002 Honda Odyssey Consumer Reviews
Love it
We replaced the transmission that was our biggest expense with it.
11 years later and have to part with it!
Got my van 11 years and 200 thousand miles later the granny is starting to slip 2nd to 3rd BUT still putting along daily. I have 259k miles on her. Power steering pump is going but it has 259 thousand miles! What do you want...only complaints are doors are too short and come back at you and the alternator prefers to be replaced by Honda one which is overpriced. Other than that I love this van, it has gone everywhere and anywhere and I hate I will have to replace her. Plenty of room, A C is still as cold as day I got her and never recharged. Leather is still great. I so wanted to make it to 300 thousand miles but am hoping she will get to 261k ! Will be getting another Odysseus for sure.

OK HONDA
I have been the driver of Large Vans for years I have had 16 custom vans and I want to tell you this is a very will thought out van. I can hall just as may people and carry just as much equiment like 7 sets of golf clubs.I wish in the USA we could come up with as good a van.
Bad Transmission
This is worst van ever own. Transmission dead at 100k miles and cost $5k to fixed transmission. Lots of road noisy on highway and very uncomfortable especially driver seat. Also, under power.
2002 EX
Like most, I did not want to take the plunge into Minivan life. However, I am very happy we did. It is such a pleasure to drive and we can go anywhere and buy anything without worrying if it will fit. Our daughter loves it because she can see out the window.
