I set out on a mission to buy a CX-5, but as a first time new-car-buyer, my dad advised me to get a Honda. At the time, the only CUV was the CR-V ( which I happen to think look like stinkbugs) so I waived him off. Then, I checked the Honda website and fell in love with the appearance and versatility of the HR-V. I bought it and almost immediately regretted my decision. I am 5'8' of legs and the HR-V just doesn't fit my stature. I even went so far as to modify the seat for an added tilt, which helped but didn't solve the problem. Plus, now I am farther away from the barely telescoping steering wheel. Overall, I am very torn on the whole thing.

This vehicle is a great looking vehicle. It s got good performance however, a little pricey if you are trying to get "all wheel drive" like you would need living in the city of Buffalo. I wanted to purchase the vehicle and made an offer but 2 Honda locations refused to negotiate the price. A third dealership agreed to my offer, but low-balled me on my trade in.

All the negatives are true, I never read or made any reviews but I have to read about HR-V, coz for a brand new car, I'm like what's going on with my brand new car? So, I have to see what other people are saying about this car. I thought it was just my car. And also, not even a month when I got a check engine, an electric parking symbol, and it keeps blinking, at the Honda service center, they said that's weird, they fixed it, the problem was ,oxygen valve or something...they have to changed it..
