Still have the vibration problem

We just got this car a week ago. Did not feel anything when test driving it but feel the vibration the day after purchase with only about 100 miles. What we found out is the vibration only happens when the car is in gear at idle. After doing some search on the internet we found a lot of complaints for the 2015 model but not for 2016. The vibration is similar to a lot of comments people said about 2015: only happens at 600-700 rpm after the car is fully warm up. Went back to the dealer twice already and finally got the manager tried it with me and documented the problem. However, we were told this is the characteristic of CR-V and there is no fix at the moment. They can only file this complaint to Honda and wait for the update. I am surprised that I did not find complaint about it for 2016 on the internet yet. My guess is it probably a lot less severe than the 2015 but you can definitely feel it. The good part is I can turn the heater to maximum to bump up to 700-800 rpm then the vibration goes away but the VIBRATION DEFINITELY IS STILL THERE! Make sure that you test drive it on highway and local for at least 20min before you decide to buy it.

Great Value

Great value for the price. Love my crv- the only reason I gave it an overall 4 is because of the significant blind spots due to the rear side windows. With the new safety standards I'm not sure what Honda can do to avoid that. For you musicians out there the trunk space fits a full size tuba without putting the seat down!

Choosing The Honda CRV-AWD Is A No Brainer!

The Honda CRV-AWD is an excellent choice for your next car, It is a great car on all road surfaces. I wish it had a bit more storage room, up front, in the driver's compartment. The rear of the vehicle is loaded with storage areas; I love the pull down seats for big hauls! I am getting 28 mpg overall. My previous car was a hybrid, so I am spoiled. Make sure you drive the car in ECO; there is only a slight drop in power, and you do pick up almost 2 mpg highway and just over 1 mpg city. The ride is a bit stiff and bumpy, but by no means uncomfortable. The layout and engineering on this vehicle is magnificent. I am very pleased with my purchase of the Honda CRV-AWD SUV!

Horrible Engine Vibration

The engine in this 2016 CRV vibrates considerably while stopped in drive and foot on the brake. The front seats vibrate to a point that causes my legs to go numb. The doors and center console vibrates, as well as the dash which is creating a noise from the dash/steering column area. The dealership says this is normal, but I wonder what component/s this vibration will cause to come loose later on--electrical connections, fuel line connections, a/c connections, etc. (not to mention my legs)? I bought this CRV because of a presumed reputation, but am left gravely disappointed. I will never buy or recommend Honda vehicles.

I'm a senior and traded in an old Acura TLS for the CRV. It's the perfect height for seniors to get in and out of. Fuel economy is really great especially when running in ECON mode. It's the perfect size for me.
