The car is not made efficiently! I have 7,000 miles on the car today. I took the car back to the dealer for noise and vibration. I was told that they replaced the rear Heat shield and that the car was quiet. The car still vibrates at 1200 or less RPM. When I accelerate the noise of vibration is consistent until reaching above 1200 RPM and it runs with plenty of get up but then when descending down a slope the car vibrates and the noise is loud. I have yet to feel comfortable in the car after adjusting the driver seat up and down tilted forward or backward. It simply is not comfortable. There is road noise as well in the cab of the car! It's like driving with the windows open which is not advisable since I live in central Pennsylvania and the temperature is 32 or less. I am totally disheartened by the purchase of this vehicle. I am frustrated every time I have to drive this car. I am totally disappointed and feel cheated in pursuing a new car that I could retire with and not have these concerns and issues. I would not recommend to anyone the purchase of this car and this is my second Honda. Bob Henry

The word for this vehicle is "Nimble"
We traded our 5 year old Accord for this new baby and after three weeks of ownership the opinion is mixed. On the positive side this is a very easy to drive and very nimble vehicle, zips around corners easily and the acceleration is great. Ride comfort is okay, not great -but the noise level is a little much for an SUV of even this size. Our first three weeks average mixed mileage is 27 mph driving fairly conservatively, so not sure where that wonderful reported 32 mpg is. The most annoying thing about this vehicle is the controls for the radio and heater- big huge buttons for the temperature control but tiny little useless dials for the radio volume and channel control. Yes if you're not driving you can do lots of things but easy control for the driver does not exist in this vehicle. In addition the braking is very choppy- but perhaps this is due to the newness of the vehicle. We hope to love this vehicle eventually.

Disappointed
I have owned/leased 4 Honda CRVs and my current 2016 has been disappointing. I have had electrical issues such as 1) bad alternator , 2) bad battery, 3) faulty alarms; and two of the 70,000 mile tires failing at 45,000. The navigation system is difficult to use (I love the Waze app that is user friendly) and get lost frequently. The radio system is also poor. The Honda service personnel are outstanding and very pleasant, professional and proficient; whereas the Honda salesman disappear when there is an issue and/or when you request consideration due to your current experiences and being a long term customer.

Noisy Ride
I purchased a 2016 CR-V EX-L AWD after reading good reviews and seeing so many CR-Vs on the road. I am somewhat disappointed that this brand new CR-V is so noisy to drive. The cabin is so noisy while driving, it has taken the joy out of driving a new vehicle. I took it back to the dealership and their service technician said that the noise is usually road noise because of tires. In fact when the service shop swapped tires and mounted wheels with the tires from a Touring model, the cabin noise was markedly reduced. Reporting the issue to Honda was no help. So I have to live with the noisy ride for next few years until I need to change tires. So, I recommend that if you want a quieter ride, buy a Touring model.
