Used 2015 Honda CR-V EX 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
NOT good, good, good.... good vibrations
Check for vibration at idle and at 1100-1300 RPM and with light acceleration. My EX AWD started a vibration at about 500 miles and is getting worse. The vibration now has an accompanying rumble up to 1800 RPM. I had taken it back but the FIX did not work. Service dept is aware of this and claims that Honda is working on a fix. Meantime I am getting more irritated with the car. I also have a 2013 Accord with the same engine and CVT with no vibrations. If it is simple harmonic motion then I suspect that engine and CVT mounts might be the culprit. Strangely if you turn on the a/c at idle the vibration stops but not at the higher RPMs. Vibration and sound reminds of how a standard transmission behaves when you are in too high a gear for the speed you are traveling. If Honda can find the FIX I will be very happy with car sans the infotainment system. Update on my CR-V. After 6 months and 4 visits I am pleased to say while not perfect it is so much better now that all the software changes including a new computer that I now feel I own a Honda like so many Hondas that I have owned before. However some of the parts of the "fix" eludes me. For example why the driver side headrest and the hatch struts had to be replaced is beyond me. Now with 29000 miles on it and approaching 3 year ownership vibrations still occurs after driving long distances at high speeds sometimes at idle vibration happens but disappears shortly after some mixed drivings. Infotainment is still a non intuitive headache. After 35000 miles the above is still true i.e. after high speed run vibration returns at idle but disappears after mixed drivings. Disdain for the infotainment is still the downfall the vehicle. 5000 more miles and I still hate the infotainment but I do love the side view camera. Still have the intermittent vibrations but not chronic. The side view camera is keeping me with this car since Honda dropped the feature(huge mistake). 44,000 miles with basically the same conditions i.e. Love the side view camera, hate the infotainment vibrations are present after long high speed driving but then disappear. Side camera keeping me in this car. Over 50,000 miles with my same complaints but more or less getting use to it. Reliability has been very good. Replaced tires and battery common for age and mileage of car. However Honda Service has conveniently started finding "problem" areas with recommendations that are not only expensive but are unnecessary after warranty ran out. Taking my CR-V to another shop found no problem areas. I guess the saying that service keeps dealership profitable is correct. Most areas are about the same. Still like the side view mirror camera and still hate infotainment system. Car still very good sans the infotainment system. Side mirror camera still a great help. Vibration still arises after freeway driving for an extended time but merits out number the main demerit. The car has been mainly trouble free. 63,500 miles still exhibits same vibration but so far the car has been trouble free. Still hate the infotainment set up but love the side mirror camera. Keeping car since new ones do not look much different. Not much of a fan of the CVT but gets good mileage consistently. Sticking with previous review. 70000+ miles car still has vibrations after high speed driving BUT since the car has been very reliable I have decided to keep the car since that annoyance is neutralized by other assets of the car. However, the infotainment system is still a huge black mark against the car. On the plus side is the sideview camera which is a great aide, good mpg, low maintenance cost and durability have been reasons for keeping the car. I might also add although the car is 10 years old the newer versions are not distinctive enough for me to upgrade my 2015 vehicle.

Vibration is really Annoying.
So i bought my Honda CRV 2015 EX on December 1st. I was so excited, and first time I buy a new car. I didn't want to deal with headaches from used car, who knows what problems they have. When I test drive the CRV, I tried all the functions in the car, and they seems to be pretty good, I got a good deal on the price, and i bought it. However after i drive it everyday from home to work, and i live in New York. I have to deal with stop signs or traffic lights every couple blocks. The car just vibrates like crazy when i'm in D mode and brake pressed. The shake is pretty violent, and after i research everyone is having the same issue. Man i really wish i did my research first, now too late.

Worst Honda Ever
I've had my car for exactly one week and I am completely disappointed. This is my third Honda and is my last Honda. Vibration and shuddering after it warmed up and really terrible at idle (stop on D). The vibration is very noticeable on passenger seat without passenger. The posted MPG is not true. The MPG from Honda website is 26 city/33 highway/28 combined mpg rating for AWD models. Currently mine is only 23.3 mpg combined (driving a little more city than highway). The heater is weak and has trouble keeping up in cold weather. The back seat takes very long time to get warm. This is really a problem for me because I have kids sitting in the back seat.
Not Again
Have had my AWD 2015 CRV since October. When buying I had asked the salesman @ Stevens Point, Wi. Honda when the 16's were coming in. He stated in the spring. A month later the 16's were on the lot. So he lied to me to make room for 16's. This vehicle is made for those about 5'8" or less. It's a little cramped. When the front seat is all the way back you can not fold down the back seat all the way without hitting the back of the front seat. The AWD doesn't tell the driver when it's in AWD. Driver has no idea when the vehicle is in AWD. I am sure this is a decent vehicle for the city but if you live out in the country in WI, MN or other snowy states this is not the vehicle for you. My driveway has a small hill. When it's slippery out the front wheels spin. The AWD never kicks in. In other words, I don't actually know if I have AWD. The radio system isn't user friendly. The CD system behind the screen is a little weird. Mileage has been good getting between 32-35 on highway. 28.6 overall since owning.

More and more issues coming up with every month
Bought this brand new on 12/31/2014. Traded in a 2012 Accord to get into something with all wheel drive and a slightly taller driving position. Shortly after purchasing the dreaded idle vibration started to occur. This issue alone would be enough for me to dissuade someone else from buying the vehicle. Then we noticed that during cold starts there seemed to be a metal on metal grinding noise coming from the engine. After doing some research this seems to be the VTC actuator which has been a well documented issue on the 2.4 engines for some time which Honda has still not yet fixed. Now after only three years there is rust forming on the inside of a couple doors from the water drain holes. This car has been a huge disappointment. Really frustrating because it gets fantastic fuel economy and is an overall practical vehicle. Would 100% recommend a different vehicle rather than this.
