Used 2015 Honda CR-V EX 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
CRV to the rescue
Bought this certified 2015 CRV for it's fuel economy, handling, reliability and massive sized storage space when the seats are all down. Grew up with Honda's and and this one is a fine example of why i'm still a fan. First week of ownership I drove with my son to Omaha in it from Philadelphia. Averaged 30 MPG for the 1200 mile trip. Good stuff: Drivers seat was plenty comfortable for 5 hour stretches behind the wheel. The electric lumbar adjust worked great. I love the handles built in to the side walls of the trunk which auto fold down the rear seats in one smooth motion. Great for loading large objects and furniture. CRV engine comes with a timing chain not a timing belt like my 2009 Civic so you don't have to pay big bucks to change it at 100K. Not so good stuff: The right hand side camera was a bit much for my taste. Would have been happier with blind spot warning lights on both sides not just the right side camera IMO. The radio does not come with a volume knob. Just a series of little buttons which you have to hunt for. Electronics are some what confusing. Great smaller sized SUV that doesn't feel to large.

Idle Vibration
I bought the CRV EX AWD a week ago, on the way driving the car back home, I noticed the vibration when I stopped at a traffic light. I went back to the dealer this past Saturday to report the issue, the sale person told me to go back on Monday, so they could take a look. I went back yesterday, he told me he talked to their service manager and they are aware of the issue, but nothing they could do but wait for Honda to release a fix. Before Honda commits a fix for this issue, I would not recommend to buy this car.

Whole lot of shakin' going on!
There are a lot of great things about this car, but there is one showstopper that should prevent you from buying it. When you are idling at a red light, the car vibrates like one of those funny exercise machines from the 40s. It also rattles like you wouldn't believe during acceleration. This is my 6th Honda and my last. Honda admits it's an issue, but don't really have anything encouraging to say about a fix. My brother opted for the Mazda 5 and he is very happy with it. If I could exchange this car today, I would.
vibrations
that thing vibrates when idling ,and also on low speeds ,very disappointed ,also have 2013 honda accord with same motor and transmission and no problems like that, hopefully honda will fix this soon, but for now people stay away from this car
Our third CRV: Charming!
This CRV is our third (previously owned 2000 and 2006) and the third time may well be the charm.... The first two were very good cars, but had a few deficits- Noise, power, and some ride harshness. The 2015 model seems to have addressed each weakness in older models with some very good improvements. We especially like the quieter and well controlled ride, and the extraordinary fuel economy. All in all, it looks like we are on the way to another long term ownership! Update: After almost three years of ownership, we’re still very pleased. Now at 117,000 miles, it has required only normal maintenance.
