Used 2015 Honda CR-V EX 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
Also having the vibration problem
At idle, with my foot on the brake, there is noticeable vibration from the steering wheel and the driver's seat. In motion, when engine rpms are a constant 1500 or lower, the engine has a lugging feel and droning sound. No lugging or droning while braking or accelerating (except when accelerating very hard). My wife, kind to all moving creatures, says don't worry about it--just be grateful for the free back massage. An old-school guy like me, however, hungers for a smooth transmission and engine combo.
Sold the car.
I bought this vehicle based on having driven my sisters 2013 CRV. This is a very different vehicle. The transmission never engages. When I need to get in an acceleration lane and get up to speed it never takes hold. If you floor it it really confuses it and it starts to fluctuate up and down. I had a 2005 Honda pilot before this and I was ready to take a step down but the storage and fit and finish on this vehicle is not even in the same universe. The console and door storage are poorly thought out and are near useless. My pilot was the exact opposite. I know Honda is chasing good gas milage to compete but in my opinion this was a big miss. I would go so far as to say this vehicle is dangerous if you are going to take it out in traffic.

VIBRATIONS AT IDLE !!! Not an issue, a problem!
Bought in December 10 2014. After a 2 block test drive I really liked it. After purchase I noticed a vibration in the seats and between1000 and 2000 rpm and a droning noise. Thought that was the way a 4 cyl. was supposed to be since I have always drivin 6 cyl. Well I looked online and omg! This is not what is normal prior CRV' s . Honda is telling thousands a fix is coming, if a fix is needed for a new car how can you sell them knowing there is an issue, Honda calls it an issue, to a consumer its a problem! Honda uses the word issue to downplay it. Look out Honda! You tricked the wrong person. Imagine your an ant, all others are stepping on you to kill ya, well I'm a 20 lb sledge.. Fix it!

Vibration at idle
Drove both 2014 and 2015 cr-vs. Bought the 15 since it seemed much quieter and smoother than the 14. What a mistake. This thing shakes like crazy when in drive while braking at a stop. At times the rpms jump from 2000 to 1500 for no reason when just cruising at normal speeds. I still own a much maligned Jeep Compass with 118000 miles and a CVT with no such problems-still runs as smooth as ever. Was going to trade it for the Honda but glad I kept it! Honda better do something soon. I only put 700 miles on it since new in November--I may end up trading it for my first choice a Nissan Rogue or a used Lexus R350! Honda admitted the problem & came up with a "fix" - install new headsets (why.) a weight in the lift door & a computer reboot that created lower gas mileage - had to sign a paper alluding to that fact. Result was worse than before. Traded this lemon in after 18 months for a so-far trouble-free 2017 Subaru Outback.

2015 CRV EX AWD
I bought my CRV at the end of Dec. 2014. 2 weeks later I went on my first long ride of about 8 hours roundtrip. A few times while stopped at lights the car began shaking, as soon as I began moving the shaking stopped. Vibration is always there when stopped but this shaking while not always present definitely makes me not recommend anyone buying this car unless Honda gets a fix for it. I wonder what the resale value of this model will be. 31/2 years later: This was my first Honda and will be my last. Honda is happy to put out a product that shacks and vibrates and thinks that it is normal. It isn't notmal for me or for other brands that don't shack. No more Shacking for me in a brand new car. Sold this CRV last month. My first and last vibrating Honda. Shame that they sold this car that vibrates/shakes at idle so much. I will not consider a Honda again. Bought a Subaru outback.
