Fix Display & Tires and you have a winner!!!
I just loved this car when I seen it. I had been looking for 3 months and test drove just about everything. I commute so I had to have a car that was good in gas mileage. The only downfalls I have had is that the Phone on the Display has had issues since day 1. When attempting to make a call, it will freeze, screen goes black and you cannot get back out of it until the car is turned off or I have had to take it dealer for them to battery reset. No software updates yet and I bought mine in Dec. 2016, so I have had it 7 months and been to the dealers 4 times now. The other issue I am having is having to put air in the tires every month since I have bought it. Especially the back tires, one time it will be the rear drivers side and the next will be the rear passenger side. Dealer said yesterday that they found a nail in rear drivers side, gonna cost me 200.00 to replace but couldn't find anything wrong with the passenger tire and could not give me any explanation on why I would have to put air in it. Other than that for the price and mileage, I got what I paid for since everything is basic in it, no extras, not even an option..

A Lot of Value for Your money.
I changed my 2011 Audi A4 for this car. It is absolutely awesome to drive it. The acceleration is very responsive, very little turbo Lag. Nothing compared to my previous A4, which had a huge turbo lag. This car drives 3 times better than my previous Audi, really. The interior is very nice, very good design. There are a few stock things that really suck on the Hatch Sport 2017. The headlights are very average. The sound could be A LOT better. The Bluetooth system is not great, but these are all things that can be upgraded/modified. The mods on this care are super reasonable, price wise. This car is super easy to modify, you can do it yourself, like I did. I do get a lot on complements on this car. Very happy for my purchase, I could not be happier. The stock 18"s are very cool, I love them. They do make the ride a bit hard, but it is also part of the suspension, which is very sporty.

Sport Touring - A dressed-up Si ??
A very well equipped vehicle vs. a similar priced Acura ILX. No issues at all. CVT is even nice. Nice utility, mileage and looks.

Fun and practical
This car has been my daily driver during the hot Miami summer. We've been a Honda family with an earlier Civic, Accords, CRV and an Acura RSX over the years. This is my first CVT and that took some getting used to, and it has a few times downshifted very roughly and felt jarring when in the worst stop-and-go traffic. Otherwise the ride is smooth. I mostly drive in ECO mode unless going on the highway or if I need full A/C. The A/C has done the job, though barely at times, and the climate control UI is one of the worst things about this vehicle, requiring a physical button to access a special touchscreen interface. Tinting this hatchback added some extra cost due to the spoiler placement. At this trim level, the electronics package, voice recognition and integration into the dash are excellent. I use Android Auto with Waze and Google Play Music. Android Auto is easy to control with voice commands and the touchscreen UI replaces the mediocre Honda UI. Integration is seamless as Waze adds dash directions under the speedometer and dims your audio to give alerts. The built-in Navi works fine but isn't nearly as practical, it lacks the real-time updates from a social app like Waze and can lead you right into a traffic jam. As for audio, the low end felt weak and I added a 10'' subwoofer in the trunk, an amp and a sub volume control knob using an unoccupied panel to the left of the steering wheel. The rest of the sound system holds up fine and the interior doesn't rattle from bass. I also swapped the headlights and interior bulbs with LEDs, which I highly recommend for night visibility. The back seat fits my two child seats just fine, though you'll have to duck a bit to actually strap kids in, and you'll want a cover for the back of your front seats from those little feet. Overall this is a great car that I plan to keep for a long time.

Back to BASICS!!! ----- 2018 Model not 2017
Bought it last week after driving a Genesis G80 for the past 2 years - owned Civics before - last one a 2012 Si Sedan for 4 years. I tired of the "largeness" of the G80 in City Traffic and the 16MPG I was getting. All the "electronic nannies" were driving me crazy!! Now I drive the CAR, the car doesn't drive ME - SO glad to be back to a superior, reliable and quick car, where I can control IT and not the other way around. Some are polarized by the "design" of the Hatch, but I got mine in Black, so nothing really "stands out" except the overall design - Back to Honda and really loving it!!! With only 100 miles on the engine I'm getting 26MPG in City Traffic. NOTE that this is for a 2018 Civic Hatchback Sport Manual and NOT a 2017 as listed, tho both are basically the same.............traded the car at 7500 miles for a 2019 Acura ILX A-Spec - was concermed about the 1.5L Turbo Engine made in Thailand with Transmission made in India - not real HONDA but now Global Car - went back to reliable K24 NON-turbo engine made in USA with Trans made in Japan
