do not get the LX
for those who don't care about interior options this is it BUT they are all basic in fact theres a lot of things missing on this car rear cup holder, charging port, etc seats are a lot worst then the impala i used to drive i mean why not power seats?? why not LED headlight REMOTE START! why not a bigger touch screen radio? why stupid hub caps on a 20grand car!!! on this HONDA civic lx gone more RETRO the FUTURE like. if you decide to lease and want to buy it at the end and don't mind customizing it then its good to go other wise choose the better ACCORDS!

NEW TO HONDA!
got a lease on the blue civic lx sedan nice car now much to look at in the interior why dont they ever match the overhead with the same color not black and white. moving on, for a base model a 5' radio is too small!! but the sound is pretty good, seats why not power seats? could have been better with leather my butt hurts driving 130 mile trip, road noise on the high way get ear plugs or turn up the raidio headlights should have been LEDS not halogen. cruise control very slow accelerating i mean you have to floor it and then set your desire speed but once you slow down and wanna go up on speed make sure you have some popcorns along the way. NO REMOTE START! COME ON!! no cupholders on the back seat or folding tray whos idea was for cups or bottles to go on doors? a rear power outlet would have been nice. suspension is cool!! small stering wheel very sporty and good grip and last the engine vibrates a little thats odd for a new car VERY GOOD GAS SAVER $25 fills the tank. SO overall i like the car but so may things missing it doesnt seem to be worth $20 grand

Spectacular New Ride
Key features include the turbocharged engine and the six-speed manual - which is VERY hard to find in a non-stripped car! The interior quality, features, comfort and roominess are amazing. The car replaced a Lincoln MKZ: the tech in the Honda is superior, and the interior room is darned close. Mixed mileage is a bit above 40 mpg. Mostly highway drives are 45! Incredible mix of performance, pep and fuel economy. I looked at Lincolns, VWs, Mercedes, Mazdas, Volvos, etc., but the Honda Civic is the only car that matches the performance I wanted, and room for adults in the back seat... plus it offered a great-shifting six-speed manual! There are a couple of Accord manual options, but they are due to be replaced next year and cannot match the mileage of the new design Civic. Outstanding car; a thrill to drive!

Hate to leave it. I love Hondas!

Fun and unique and a great family car!
The look of the hatchback is sleek interesting. I had a 2004 civic and haven't liked the Shape of any Honda Civic since, until the 2017 came out. There is plenty of room for my family and dog. Very happy with my choice!

Outstanding car in so many respects
Very powerful with turbo engine. Great gas mileage (average over 40), roomy and comfortable with excellent handling and ride. Sharp design. I was surprised that with all the advanced electronics it can't give you readout of tire pressure. I replaced the mediocre OEM Firestone tires with Vredestein Quadtrac tires which are truly all weather and just a pleasure in all respects. Honda Link remains an on and off proposition but is great when it works. I gave the vehicle over to Honda for a day and they finally fixed the dashboard compass issue at no cost to me. Overall this has been a trouble free car which I continue to enjoy and recommend.

Really Fun to Drive
I forgot how much fun it was to drive a manual transmission. It handles and drives beautifully. I averaged 47 mpg (according to the trip computer) both ways on a recent trip. The keyless entry and start it's really nice. The electronic parking brake does take some getting used to though.

Love the Car but has issues
I bought the car brand new. I loved it starting out and it was great to me starting out. At Just over 36,000 miles my wheel bearings went out on the vehicle. I baby my vehicles and dont drive crazy at all. Honda did cover it under the drivetrain warranty. That was terrible but at just over 38,000 miles my A/C went out in the vehicle which again Honda replaced for free. At 41,000 miles the A/C went out once again. These vehicles seem to fall apart after the end of the warranty ends which was not a good experience. Overall the car gets great gas mileage and its a great car tech wise as well but definitely has it’s issues

2017 Civic Hatchback EX
This is a great upgrade to the Civic explaining the higher cost. Civics are no longer the small entry level Honda vehicle; this has been passed down to the Honda Fit. Now the Honda Civic appeals to the millennial generation of adults in their late 20's and early 30's. The car drives great and has enough horsepower to handle high speed traffic while at the same time maintaining strong gas mileage. Safety is a top priority with the car performing a 5-star in all areas. The European versions come standard with Honda Sensing, which I believe for the price paid should also come standard on all American models; however, I am extremely pleased with this car and would recommend it for anyone with a small family but wanting a stylish looking ride. I have received more compliments than any other vehicle I have driven.

Honda Civic
I have enjoyed this car ever since I had to buy it when my 1994 Accord gave out in 2019. It has more features than the Accord did. I will stick with a Honda car always.

Worth the extra to go with the Touring Sport
Tried the other models - the extra HP makes a difference - but was dissapointed with the sub woofer.

Sport Touring is a premium car for a great price!
I was excited to get my sport touring because Honda has decided to offer nearly all the same features on the Civic that they do the Accord. The quality and comfort of the car is one of the best in the class while maintaining a sporty look in my opinion. Numerous compliments will defiantly come with the purchase of this car. I would recommend this car to anyone considering to purchase a new midsize car.

Honda Civic SI does not disappoint
The Honda Civic Si handles great, and the acceleration is amazing for a 4 cyl. It also has a sport mode option that adds an additional 20+hp which is amazing. The clutch is smooth and the racing seats hug the driver like a glove. The back seats are surprisingly comfortable with plenty of leg room. My only gripe is the seats are not leather.

Value that you need, fun when you want
Great combination of economy, some fun, and reasonable roominess for a phenomenal price! Highway mileage is good for the long commute, yet you can let the turbo wind out the gears for some quickness on curvy roads. The cargo space is surprizingly large with and without the back seats down. All this for under $20k.

Turbo Blew, Bad Long Term
I don’t know if I got a lemon but I have a 2017 Honda Civic Touring Sport Hatchback 6 Speed Manual and babied the car. I loved it and had a Civic before so I thought they were reliable. At 137,000km the Turbo just blew even though I have been doing oil changes on time (every 5000km) and all other maintenance. Very disappointed as I loved this car but just want to warn others as the Turbo’s are not good on these vehicles. Again I don’t know if I got a lemon but this is my experience.

Best car of the segment (better than the new gen)
The 2017 Honda Civic was ahead of its time. When you compare this model to the rivals, it was WAY ahead. this one still feels modern. Solid ride, apple carplay, huge trunk, stylish, comfortable, INCREDIBLY fuel-efficient, and reliable. I want to make a point about the fuel economy on this vehicle, because it is incredible! I don't think I have ever seen such an efficient vehicle that is NOT a hybrid. I'm at 75k miles and no problems at all. I did change the battery twice, but other than that, no problems at all. The interior/exterior is far more stylish and daring than the new one. I rented a new gen for a trip and was very unimpressed by the road noise, interior materials, and look of the car. Overall, this generation of the Civic is the best one, ever.

Love my Honda
I bought my car new off the lot in 2017 and this Honda Civic is very economical and great to drive. It’s a great car to own.
Not your Grandma's Civic !
My last new Honda was a 07 Fit Sport. This 2017 Civic Sport touring hatchback is great. Biggest complaint is the seats are a bit stiff for my liking otherwise the driving experience is first rate loving the lane keep assist and adaptive cruise. passing power is quite ample fuel mileage is at 33 mpg so far.

My 2017 Honda Civic Touring Sedan is great! I can hardly find fault with it. It seems Honda has definitely raised the bar in the small car segment with their 10th gen. Civics.

Sharp and comfortable, no problems, liking more
In and out will be different than a SUV. Quality seems very good. Layout is simple and logical, and well thought out. Performance seem good and ride is smooth enough. Happy purchase ! Still new.. Bought May 2017, the pull down on this form for year not working.

Great but not perfect!
This car is a lot of fun to drive. I considered the ST before buying the SI. The deal breaker was the MPG. Let's be honest here, how often are you going to race? 0-60 is poor. The gas mileage is great. I average 38 between highway and town. The car has plenty of torque to pass once the car is rolling. Lack of clutch feel is the only real complaint. I hope for a larger displacement engine in the future with a turbo. Satisfied with this for now. Not to mention is is cheaper than the 2 biggest competitors, will hold value better, and cheaper on gas. Financially speaking, its the only logical choice if you still want to save money. Most likely will have better reliability too.

A/C never worked and almost died from the e-break
I loved my civic when I first bought it used last year! It was my favorite car I’ve ever had, until I found out the A/C doesn’t work. It was covered under warranty so I tried getting it fixed 6 times. 6 TIMES! It would be 95° out and I would be sweating in my new car. These new cars have a very unsafe parking break on the center council, a little button you pull upwards. I was driving 75 on the highway last week and my vape slipped under the parking break. I didn’t think anything of it, so I went to reach for my vape and it barely lifted the button. I came to a complete terrifying stop 75-0 in 3 seconds. Almost swerved out of control, but thankfully I kept ahold of the wheel and kept the car facing straight. The car behind me slammed into my rear-end and I’ve never been so close to almost dying before. Will NEVER own a car with that type of e-break again. Exchanged it for a 2016 Honda Accord EX-L V6 yesterday and loving it so far. Be careful with the 2017 Civic. Could’ve killed me because they wanted the car to look sportier.

I refer to this car as my “forever car” or “mid-life crisis” car. This car is comfortable and has all the bells and whistles. Very sporty looking and great gas milage. I get a lot of compliments on it. I’m sure if I take care of it as I should, it should last me for many, many years.
