Time for a change
Also have a 2006 civic ex bought used three years ago. Happy with it so just traded our other car for a new 2010 ex. Now we have to civics, on the new models they did away with the sound pads in the engine and trunk so now you see bare metal. In 4 years the two cars are almost identical, the new one has a usb connector on the radio and new steering wheel, otherwise can't tell them apart. Also if you have a brand new one make sure you check closely specially on the roof for paint defects that you can see through the clear coat (Google it) my 06 also had them and now they look like sore spots. Took it back to the dealer body shop so that there will be a record for future claims.
second but not last civic
I sold my 2001 Civic LX and purchased the EX Model because I wanted a sunroof. I am amazed about how big the interior it is and I keep reminding my friends that it is 'just a civic'. I went from a manual to automatic and it feels so nice to drive and I love the steering wheel. I feel it is slow going up hills from start but it is a big car and only 140 horsepower so it is a small price to pay.

Great Commuting Car
Wanted better gas mileage as I drive 50 miles total every day. I traded in my Accord (4cy)for the Civic - so far so good. The Civic is more fun to drive than the Accord and I actually like the simplicity of the interior. The ride is OK, not as comfortable as the Accord yet I find myself enjoying it more.
Great mileage
Heated leather seats
I love my 2010 Honda Civic
I have now driven 4000 miles in my Honda Dx Vp. I love the car! The only problem which I can report is that if I raise the driver's side seat too high, a portion of the digital speedometer is cut off, and I can't see the readout without craning my neck. Otherwise, the car glides down the road, I am getting about 25mpg around town, and after taking a 165 mile trip down the interstate, my gas mileage was 40.1 mpg--yep, 40.1 mpg! I have read reviews complaining of road noise on the interstate--I am either deaf, or my little civic is immune to that problem. The car handles well, accelerates reasonably well for a 140 hp engine, corners well, idles well. I am very happy with this car.
