This car is reliable and fun! It doesnt take up a lot of gas either so it's cheap when considering many other cars.

I purchased this car as a hand-me down from my parents in 2009 with ~80k of mileage. The car had been stored in a heated garage and used specifically for commuting and errands around town. Since then, the car has been through -35 to + 35 celsius weather and driven across the US and Canada in all weather conditions. All this car requires is standard maintenance (oil/filter changes, tranny fluid, spark plugs, brakes etc!). I currently have 332k on the vehicle and it is still running fine! It is easy to work on, great on fuel economy (~28 mpg City and 35 mpg highway) and has affordable after market parts (see RockAuto.com). If you have the opportunity to purchase a 2001-2005 Civic with 150-200K of mileage, take a chance on it as it is a great vehicle that won't break the bank. Highly recommend!
