Android Auto very complicated. The car does not come with XM/Serius radio. Must use Android Auto to get XM. Once into XM via Android Auto try to find your favorite channels and nearly impossible. Car is great but infotainment system will drive me insane.

It’s been a change I definitely didn’t get a better car then I already had . Kind of disappointed , it looks very nice , runs great too. But my Camary is old and the technology hasn’t changed much on Honda .

Loving the Accord

This is my first time owning a Honda and it’s been very pleasurable after 2k miles. It handles quite well and the fuel economy has been excellent. The infotainment system works well with Apple CarPlay. I thought I’d miss my ‘20 Altima’s 2.0 turbo engine but I’ve found the Accord to have a smoother ride.

Cut costs in the wrong areas

Carjunkie, 04/25/2024

This is my 3 Honda Accord. I guess they were trying to keep the overall cost under $40,000 and cut back in the wrong areas. First, the seats are the worst of the 3 Accords I have owned. They aren’t as plush and padded as my 92 and 93 Accords. Second, they moved the washer fluid sprayer to the wiper arms so it doesn’t cover the entire windshield when it sprays. Third and final complaint, they have completely stopped offering the Accord in a manual transmission (last model year it’s offered 2018). I am and always will be a Honda fan. I wish the designers would ask the public what features and improvements they would like to see in new models. I would other features optional in all models.

I had an older 2.0T Honda, but due to an accident, the car was totaled. I figured I had a Honda and go for another one. I was looking at the CR-V and felt more compelled to get that one, but ended up with the Accord. I love it and still do almost a year after purchase. There is certain instances where I would love more power but it’s very rare. I think this is a natural evolution for where Honda was and is going. Good job, Honda. Great car.

Looks nice, but very poor quality. I had problems since day one. I've had the car less than a year and who knows what awaits for me in the months to come. 1. Seatbelt recall right off the bat. 2. The fan/oscillator mechanism behind the glove box was broken since day one. Try having a conversation when the weather is moderate and the HVAC kicks in, and all you hear is a loud winding sound. 3. IF the weather is moderate, you can count on good mileage. Heaven forbid it get too cold or too hot. You will have your fuel efficiency cut anywhere from 20-70% depending on how cold/hot it is. Yes, you read that correctly. 4. Brakes and rotors needed replaced. The noise started just 4 months into owning the vehicle. 5. Lane assist software is bad already. "See Dealer" is the notification you receive. 6. Turning radius is weak. 7. The sound system is trash. This car is expensive, and you do not get the value you deserve. I do not recommend.

Honda Accord HYB EX-L BD is a fabulous car, lots of safety features; automatically slows down as you come up on a car in cruise control, headlights automatically dim and brighten to high beams, super pickup for passing, very stylish with heated seats, Apple Car Play with Google Maps, etc.

The car does not handle concrete freeways very well. The car sways as if it is out of control. I took it to the dealer, and they said driving a dangerous car was normal. Will be selling it today and buying a Camry.

I wished I had not bought the 2023 Honda Accord. I have driven a Honda accord for 32 years and I have owned 3. It drives good and has excellent features but the body style is not pleasing. I can't wait to trade it at the end of the year. I thhought it would grow on me but it has not!

I was in a hurry and bought this car, as my Toyota Camry was totaled , I did not want to buy the same model, but I could not wait for the new model too, as it comes out in 2024 in the spring. I decided to try Honda, I thought it was also Japanese quality, but it is very uncomfortable engine sounds are annoying, everything is audible and every bump is felt. It feels like you are driving a barge. Very poor service in service less warranty coverage, I drove it 1000 miles and I am very uncomfortable driving it in it 0% handling. Overall I am disappointed with the purchase hopefully I can trade it in for a toyota next year. Don't buy this car it is not reliable not comfortable and not worth the money

Not Worth The Cost nor The Headache

I bought a 2023 Accord Ex, 2024 Civic, & 2024 HRV. All three of the Hondas were very nice cars that’s why my husband and I bought them. However, each car we had nonstop problems within the first year of ownership. The worst being the 2023 accord. I have my AC system replaced, my door panel, my front end had to be repainted, I had 13 alignments performed due to a steering issue, my remote start caused the car to sound the alarm and go into anti theft mode almost everytime I used it. Finally, my backup camera was flickering black and white 90% of the time. Honda fixed some issues and claimed that certain issues I would have to “live with”. My husband and sold all 3 cars before we hit the 1 year ownership on the accord and bought a 2024 Mustang Premium and a 2024 F150. We have had ZERO issues since we bought them. Honda’s reliability and quality control is down the toilet. They did me so dirty after purchasing nearly $100,000 in brand new cars from them.

23 Accord Hybrid--Yes!

I was one of the first to get the 23 accord EXL hybrid. February of 23 I took delivery. I love this car. The huge touchscreen, the wireless apple car play, the sleek styling, the handling. And if you need pickup, this puppy will go! I used to think hybrids were all slow pokes. NOT TRUE with this. Tons of horsepower. Gas mileage. It is listed at 51mpg overall. I would concur with that. But in the summer I was regularly getting 55, 57, 58 mpg on a complete tank of gas ( nearly 600 miles). Some trips are more some less. Some days on my 7 mile trip home from work, I might get 70-80-90 mpg. But those are just short trips. Overall , in the summer I was getting big mileage on a full tank. I did notice that in January ( I live in northern Indiana), when temps got cooler, the mileage went down. If it is above 40 degrees outside, yes, i would say 51 mpg overall. Temp in the 30s, mpg will be in the 40s. Below 30 degrees, it may dip into low 40 mpg. And regardless of temp, highway is always less. So I would say, overall for a year, 51 mpg is pretty close. A minor issue-- all the radar and sensors are located in the front grill behind the 'H" emblem. Well if it snowing and slushy and that gets covered with snow, you will be advised that your lane keep assistance and other things are disconnected until you clean that off. Well, that includes the cruise control, which now will prevent you from plowing into someone in front of you...So, on that rare occasion when there is a bit of snow in the air, you may be without cruise control temporarily. This same thing happens on my wife's 2020 CR-V. But this is a rare issue, and I am not sure how they could solve it. My one complaint, and I even contacted Honda and they responded to me. Unfortunately, it was just a customer service rep, who said she understood and would be happy to pass it up the chain of command. This is minor, but when listening to USB audio. The screen should display the Song Title, the Artist, and the Album name. All those items are embedded in the tag on the mp3 file. My 2017 Accord displayed these perfectly. Well, the 2023 displays the File Name ( not the Song Title-- usually they are the same but not necessarily), the Artist (good job there ), and the Folder (not the Album name). I commonly throw a bunch of mp3 songs into a folder and give it a random name like 2017c. The Album each song came from may be different, yet each Album name is indeed embedded in the tag. So whoever wrote this software, or probably whoever bought this software does not understand audio files. This should be an easy fix. Just fix the software to display the Song Title, Artist, and Album. If the software can correctly get the Artist from the tag, certainly it can get the other two items correctly. The Software can then be updated, and next time I get my oil changed they can update the software. Come on Honda, you are better than this! Otherwise this is a GREAT CAR. Highly recommended!

I purchased my 2023 Honda accord back in July. It was a hybrid sport. First issue, I live in California and the tires on the car have wide grooves which hook on to the grooves of highways... With that being said the vehicle would be thrown left and right and move very squirrely. Felt unsafe and while I had this car I avoided highways as much as I can because of this. At about 5-6k miles, there was a sharp whining noise when I rolled down my driver window. Never got it fixed but I assume it was a seal issue, because with the windows rolled up you can hear my music inside the car very clearly... Around this time the car would randomly jerk. Noticed this happened between 49-59mph which is when the engine is engaged. Very abrupt and dealer said they couldn't replicate it (of course) so it never got fixed. Side mirror glass shakes and you can see it shaking because it's almost blurry due to all the vibrations. The switch from electric to engine is very abrupt and you can tell. Not smooth whatsoever. I couldn't deal with the jerking, it happened from a stop to acceleration and is very embarrassing, especially because it's a brand new car. And when it happens while driving it's very unsafe and embarrassing... The suspension + tires is not a good combo at all, never enjoyed the ride of the vehicle... Felt every bump, every cracked road, any sort of imperfection on the road... Not impressed. I don't want you to think this was a HORRIBLE vehicle, but I wouldn't buy one again... I'd still recommend the car because the jerking wasn't something other people with the same car said they had. The seal could have just been my vehicle, and most of the issues may have just been my car. I forced myself to love this car but deep down I was unhappy with my purchase at times. BUT, the car had a lot of good aspects to it. I'd recommend the vehicle in 2025, when they can fix and tweak any problems. Also if you are someone that doesn't do much driving then sure. The car is great on gas, about 480 miles on average for a full tank. About 450 after putting over 10k miles on the car. The interior is great... had a rattle noise but it didn't bother me that much and only occurred rarely. The cloth seats are very comfortable and I commute so for an hour + ride they are very good and keep you in your seat. - The infotainment screen is amazing. Very responsive and especially in apple carplay. The screen is very long and the backup camera is pretty good. Has a wide version, so when backing up you almost don't need to turn your head. Carplay connects as soon as I get in the vehicle and it's wireless. - The gauge cluster is the best part of this car. It is configurable in ways other brands don't have. My favorite was the minimal option which is just an animation of you car on a road and that's it. It can display your music (am or fm or apple carplay music) and navigation on the other. - When I first got the car it accelerated pretty quickly. I found myself not even having to put much pressure on the gas and the car took off. It also has an electric whine when you accelerate which sounds cool and gives off electric car vibes. - The look of the car is controversial and I did like mine but sometimes I questioned it. Overall it looked good, especially in the back. I could go on and on about this review but I feel that I've typed a lot already... Here is my HONEST conclusion to this review and should you get this vehicle? Short answer, yes. As I said most of the issues I had weren't found across every other owner and may have just been my car. (besides the tires, which depends where you live and if you have grooved roads or not.. btw I had the 19 inch goodyear tires that come with the car). If we take away the jerking issue I would have loved this vehicle. Hopefully Honda does something to make the suspension or give the car different tires and make it drive a bit better on bad roads. But, if you want a very fuel efficient vehicle, smooth driving on smooth pavements, somewhat fun-ish to drive, spacious, big infotainment screen, and cool minimal gauge cluster, red glowing push to start button, comfortable seats, visually appealing interior and exterior, safe features, moon roof, and much more...get the vehicle. My car ended up being totaled, but it kept me super safe and actually alerted emergency services upon impact (I think or it was my apple watch, I don't know lol). Just wait for the 2025, or maybe even get the 2024. Honda will hopefully fix any kinks, I wouldn't get the car again because I like to experience new things and want to try a different car brand, but if you have always had a Honda or want to try Honda, definitely get the accord!

Warning, this car has electrical problems that can be dangerous. Look up 2023 Honda electrical problems online. Lots of complaints. I’m scared to have my wife driving this thing. We have had it in the shop 3 times and they keep saying there’s nothing they can do.

We have accumulated 7,000 miles on our 2023 Accord Hybrid Touring acquired just over a year ago. It is her daily driver and our road trip car. We have averaged 42.3 MPG to date. My wife likes the simplicity of the hybrid system and the infotainment. Nothing wonky or complicated, just drive it like a normal car. With good lane centering and very good adaptive cruise control, the car eats up the miles on road trips. In traffic-jam mode, the car operates hands free, feet free while moving at low speeds in stop-and-go traffic. Handling and performance are appropriate for a daily driver. The price of the car was right at the average new car price out the door. This represents good value for a family car with entry-level luxury interior and options.

I bought this car brand new and ever since I can’t even count the many time I took it to the dealership to get system replaced, battery, tailgate lights replaced, volume button replaced, brake and lane change mitigation or assistance does not make a sound anymore. Took it to 3 different dealership to get help to fix the issue but the last one said they come mute and the last time they said everything works but I tested it out and doesn’t work.
