The 10 speed automatic is fantastic. I was considering the manual, but the 10 speed with paddle shifters is awesome. 8 Months in, no mechanical issues. Car rides great and is fun to drive. Update: 2+ years into the car and the 10 speed Auto is still fun to drive. I sometimes miss driving a manual but overall very happy with the auto. The only service has been tires (due to potholes in California), a cracked driver window (no idea how that happened) and normal service. Over 28,000 miles and everything still works great. Love the car. Usually, after 1-2 years I'm looking for a replacement. This one's a keeper... 2 & 1/2 years in and still love the car. Regular oil changes and no other service issues (except for windshield replacement). When I drive like a normal person, it gets great mileage.

Solid performance, Disappointing exterior design

What happen to the Designers of the 2017 Honda Accord Touring? The 2017 was a sleek design equally appealing as a BMW 3 Series, I know appearance is in the eyes on the beholders, Although, This 2018 Honda Accords has the appearance of a Chevrolet Malibu with an unfinished front end, it's hideous, I have owned two previous iterations of the Honda accord and loved them, the V6 is the best engine in this class, Although, I liked the low end additional torque of the 2018 Honda Accord, Although once the vehicle is accelerating it appears to lose the constant thrust of the V6, My Synopsis? Styling Disappointment which is a significant contributor to whether I will be purchasing another Accord, After 8 years of being a faithful Honda family member, it's time to look elsewhere

You'd have to kill me to get a hold of mine

I have a 2019 Accord 2.0T Touring. Of all of the cars I've ever owned, I've never been more attached to the vehicle. You'd have to kill me before I'd let you take mine away. I absolutely love it. It's got so much room, I can usually haul more stuff a lot of SUVs, and yet this thing is very fun to drive. It's surprisingly fast in both a straight line and in the twisties. I do track days sometimes, and It's always fun smoking the odd BMW or Audi driver. The seats are really comfortable too. I've had trouble with a lot of cars, I'm rather tall and have a bad back, but I can easily sit in the driver's seat for a whole day straight, no joke. My model comes with adaptive suspension, and when in sport mode the suspension is stiffer and does a good job halting body roll, but when left in regular or eco mode, it become a lot more supple without feeling numb. Lastly, I love the 10-speed transmission, it's hella fast and really helps keep the engine in the powerband when putting down the pedal. It never hunts for gears either. If you're looking for a car with lots of room, lots of power, and that's fun to drive for a reasonable price, this is the sedan for you.

I've had my 2018 for five years now and still haven't had any issues with the car. Seems like the older it's getting the better it's proving to be well worth the cost. It was pre-owned with 17,000 on it when I bought it. Of course it has a few scratches and dings on it now but because it is pearl white they aren't really noticeable like they would be if it was black. It now has 48,000 and runs like it's brand new. Because of the personalized touches I've added (fender badges, quad exhaust tips, spoiler, etc.), it still turns heads. "Sheena" will be my forever car because it is bulletproof and has everything in it that a luxury car has.

I don't understand the reviews that this car's mileage doesn't live up to the EPA estimates. I am a fairly conservative driver... on long trips of 250 miles plus I have seen mileage of over 44 MPG---I did the math and it it is true. Some people must drive with lead feet

Bought the vehicle new in July 2018 and overall am very pleased with the ride and performance of the car. The audio system is adequate but will not blow anyone away, Honda claims there is a subwoofer included but don't expect to hear any deep lows in your music. My one major complaint is the infotainment system which at random will reboot for no apparent reason. The display will go completely black, all audio stops and approximately 30 seconds later, the system will come back online. I have reported this issue to the Honda dealership on numerous occasions, they have upgraded the software with no resolution. One Service Advisor told me this is a known issue with the Accords and Honda has not provided a fix, very disappointed in Honda. I would give the vehicle 5 stars if not for the issue with the infotainment system.

Modes, reliable car not without its own flaws

I got a good deal on 2018 Accord Sport a few years ago. One of the best feature is the collision system which saved me from quite a few near accidents thus far. The Sport mode on this car is great on roads with steep hills and keeping hostile, careless drivers away from you who have to speed around you at split instant. The rural area where I normally drive is notorious for these types of dangerous people. But after almost 2 years of driving it fairly regularly, the car turns awkwardly. I have had all the required service and fluids changed on schedule in addition to inspections at various mileage and still this is a problem. Also there is known problem with the fuel door closing mechanism which after repeated use makes a loud popping noise. This was replaced under warranty by the local dealer however, it also exists in past models years of the Accord LX and the Civic. I'm not sure Honda has not directly addressed the problem or made a recall on the issue after so many years. Another minor but noticeable issue is the radio knob does not turn off the unit completely and requires repeated presses to keep it off. It accidentally turns on when you try and turn it off. This is beyond annoying and distracting when driving, I often times don't even turn the radio on to have to deal with the issue. In conclusion, the car is miles above the last Honda I had which was a 2015 Accord LX. Honda massively improved the vehicle in the years between by leaps and bounds. I am satisfied with it and strongly recommend it over any other international competitor like Toyota, Mazda or Nissan's midsize sedans.

Over 57,000 miles driven

I bought my 10th generator 2018 Accord on the first week it was available back in October of 2017. The car is still unbelievable in its power train and features. I have the EX model. But its not all roses. Dash vibrations and poor panel alignment issues were experienced. Besides a slight rattle in the dash at certain RPM’s when I first got the car which was annoying the dealer looked at it to find the actual cause for 2 days. The problem was a vent housing vibrating under the dash on the drivers side. I took a star off for this. Also the alignments of the door could have been better. I noticed a not so perfect alignment every time I look at the side mirror and see the door panels slightly misaligned. Another star removed because of this. Better quality control should have been made in its initial release. Besides these issues the car still runs excellent and all the bells and whistles that came with still works just as nicely. The car does not rattle and creak after nearly 60,000 miles and still looks as nice as when I drive it off the lot.

2018 Sport 1.5T 6M I've owned since 2018 and have 45,000+ PRO: -Great on gas mileage. 40-46 on straight highway with 87 gas. -very fun to drive -very reliable, have out in $0 into it so far -clean and sleek interior look when driven off the lot...(see con below) Cons: - valve cover seals started leaking at 36,300 miles! Honda dealer said, sorry you're SOL - poopoo quality speakers. No other words to describe them. - terrible rattles EVERYWHERE - TERRIBLE stock Michelin tires - doors and hood catch drag so the hood shakes and the doors are loud- road noise leaks in. - due to road noise, hard to be heard on the other end - infotainment: I could write a book. This was a horrible choice, the thing freezes like crazy, camera goes in and out even after recall fix. Android auto is never working properly.spotify freezes, it will either say its playing when its not and you have to disconnect your phone or its playing and you can't pause, stop, skip, or rewind. - Seats: terrible choice of fabric, even though no one sits in the rear, there seems to be moisture trapped by the fabric and looks like someone couldn't hold it... -lane keep assist doesn't work properly, although the one time it did work, it worked well and helped avoid a collision. - extremely cheap plastics in the interior, the cup holders don't work properly -window regulator motors are already wearing out, the go up slowly -i can keep going but ill stop because it doesn't do any justice. I've owned one other accord and wouldn't buy another. I'm keeping this one since its the last manual Accord generation Honda made. No more honda. If I want reliable, I might try Toyota, otherwise I'll go with Lucid or Tesla. Money spent on fixing cons: ~$2,000 sound upgrade, sound deadening all throughout, replaced valve cover seals since out of warranty, new tires, properly sealing doors and hood....

I test drove the 2018/2019 Camry, 2020 Mazda 6, and the 2018 Honda Accord and the Accord had the best features by far. The car responds well to acceleration, it's quiet, has lots of room and the technology is user friendly. Would definitely purchase another one! Update, it's been 3 years and I still love it!

Hit a small animal which tore up radar brackets and intercooler / $1200 repair. It seems this should be better reinforced considering this is a frequent road hazard situation. This is our third Honda Accord and first ever problem encountered. Guess that’s why very disappointed in design that would so easily cause a twelve hundred dollar problem.

I love this vehicle and it’s great on road trips. Biggest downfall is the technology. I’ve had my screen black out multiple times, the automatic steering and cruise control shuts off in traffic or if passing any cones… it will shut off and only turns back on when you turn the car off and back on again (which is inconvenient for those doing trips on a regular basis.) I’ve had the car have errors reading over 15 notifications of the car failing in every aspect. Had to take it to the dealership to get fixed. Biggest frustration was the dealership- purchased my car from Woodson 6 months before they switched to Priority and paid for an extended warranty to which they didn’t honor for 2.5 years- meaning I had to pay out of pocket for repairs that were supposed to be covered under warranty. Wouldn’t reimburse either. Steering can seem unsafe at times due to it swerving you thinking you’re not driving correctly due to mis readings with the sensor. On the upside, it is a beautiful car and is nice to take for trips. It does give a luxurious feel given the price tag. I enjoy this car in every other aspect other than the technology malfunctions.

I got a great deal on a used 2018 Accord EX this past fall, well under KBB and had been sitting on the lot, which is rare these days. I assume it was because it's not a popular color (gold), its a sedan which is not popular anymore, and the seat had a stain on it which was easily fixed by the dealer. It only had 23,000 miles on it and no accidents. I have owned it for 8 months now and so far I have been thrilled with it. I love how it looks both inside and out, and it feels very well-built. I was hesitant to purchase a CVT but the transmission feels very natural in this car, worlds better than the CVT in the Altima I rented on vacation. The engine is generally smooth and it will surprise you with its power, it's pretty quick. I do miss my old Camry V-6's smooth, torquey power but this has been a decent substitute with incredible fuel-economy too. It has been extremely reliable so far and I have averaged around 40 mpg on the highway on recent trips going around 70-75 mph. I love apple car play, the heated cloth seats, and the sunroof. The sound system is pretty good, my old JBL system in my 2011 Camry was a bit better but I've definitely heard worse systems before. The car is very roomy too. The road noise is a tad loud but not horrible. My wife's Mazda CX-5 is quieter and rides a tad smoother so we tend to take it on longer trips but with fuel prices so high we took the Accord last trip, it performed well on the highway. It is stable and planted, and around 70 the rpm's hover just over 2000 rpm, making it feel relaxed. I found myself accidentally going 90 a few times. My only complaints are the road noise could be a bit quieter, the seats get a little uncomfortable after an hour or so, and the car is just really long and wide so it's a bit harder to park than you would think. I have a tight garage that I have to make a sharp turn to get into so it requires a lot of backing up and straightening out. Not necessarily the car's fault, just be prepared going in that it's a pretty large car.

I bought the 2018 Touring 2.0T new in May of 2018. Overall it's been a good car. As a daily driver it's as nice or better than some luxury cars (e.g, Audi A4, Acura TLX, Mercedes 300) and at the time leagues ahead of it's direct competition. Great power from the 2.0T and 10 speed, comfortable interior with tons of room for four adults, quiet at highway speed, and good gas mileage. A downside is that the factor stereo system is terrible! Upgraded mine in the aftermarket. My biggest complaint about this car is the lack of an LSD. If it had that it would be damn near perfect! Have had a few issues. The driver assists will glitch out sometimes which requires the car to be shut off and turned on again to restore function. This usually happens when I am using the adaptive cruise control and it's raining out. Had the battery replaced at 34,000 miles. When I had my battery replaced the dealer noted that there was a small oil leak coming from the head gasket which was repaired under warranty. The dealer also found an axel boot that was leaking and this was replaced under warranty as well.

Sunroof + manual = perfection

When I was in the market to buy a car, a stick and a sunroof were the two top things on my list. Enter 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T 6M. There are so many things I love about this car. The seats are firm, but comfortable and it has lots of legroom! I love the new touch screen; so so much better than what was in previous Accords. The AAC and LKA are super handy and I use them all the time. This car also gets great fuel mileage—averages 29 mpg in city and 33 on highway. I could get even better but I tend to drive a little more on the aggressive side. Also love the exterior styling of this Accord…super sharp rims, awesome headlights, and really just everything. And it’s so much fun to drive! I go places as often as I can just for an excuse to drive it. Seriously people if you’re thinking about getting a car like this, do. Just do. You won’t regret it.

1.5 turbo has pretty good zip very comfortably to drive lane stay, adaptive cruse control and so many nice features. Very roomy and comfortable for passengers with a very large trunk. I would always get compliments on it and the MPG on a road trip would be very constant at about 35-36 mpg. Outstanding. Spent no extra money on anything other than brakes and oil.

I have been driving the EX-L for a couple of years now, and it handles just like a BMW! I have not had any issues with it, and I have a ton of power with an average MPG of 37!!!

I’ve had my 2018 Honda accord for 2.5 years now. It has almost 99k miles. Recently had every light on the dash come on and my head gasket is blown. Now I need new fuel injectors. I’ve always got the maintenance done at the dealer religiously. There is no reason this should be happening. Go look at the NHTSA website, there are so many other people who this has happened to. The manufacturer is looking the other way.

2018 Accord 2.0T Sport for the win

I purchased my 2018 Accord last year so it was 5 years old with 34K miles on it. It’s slate gray and I love it. I purchased it online thru VROOM and everything went pretty smooth. I drove two other Accord’s a 2000 Accord Sedan EX-L in college and I loved it. And most recently a 2011 Accord Coupe EX from 2014 to 2023. So with this 2018 Accord the only issue I had with it and it was fixed immediately from the factory warranty was the AIR CONDITIONER compressor went. Fully covered by Honda…thank goodness. As far as performance I think it is pretty quick and handles well; for comfort I give it an 8/10, I really hate the flaux leather/ cloth combo bc it looks nice but feels cheap…they could’ve given us leather seating esp in the 2.0T Sport. The fuel economy is about what I had in my 2011 coupe, the infotainment system and screen are about average…no complaints. One thing about this car I hate is the random jerking it does and I read that this is common in the 2.0T versions, I guess it’s the 10 speed transmission they use and hence maybe that is why it wasn’t rolled over to the 2023 and up models. I don’t use the sunroof much because they are just loud and noisy in general but I really like this car. No vehicle is perfect but I love my Accord’s. When I purchased it I took it to Honda for a full inspection under the hood and they said it was well taken care of. For this car to come from an on,one dealership, without any problems I consider myself lucky.

This thing is a real work horse, putting about 45k miles yearly been solid for many years. Such a comfortable ride, offers so much for the price, tech is great and easy to use, turn on and off whenever. It’s so dang fuel efficient too! This little 1.5 ain’t no slouch! It’s a much better value than all its competitors. Ie altima and Camry, Toyotas tech is very outdated and this feels very modern compared to the other brand. Of course the power could always be a bit better but this isn’t a sports car so it gets the job done no problem. I love this car!

Got a 2018 Honda Accord EX-L used from a dealership. This was during the height of the pandemic. Was totally overcharged on this piece of junk. Honda is not the quality it once was years ago. I've already had to get all new tires, AC condenser, and now sensors are going and it will be $1,000 plus to fix and of course it is not under warranty. It is also part of the fuel pump recall issue and no one knows when parts will be in or how the process will go to fix it. This has been going on for the past year and counting. Car sits too low and undercarriage always seem to scare on things no matter how carefully you park. Total junk and I will never buy a Honda again.

I love this car. I bought it for the price at the tech level. I only have owned it for two months but it is everything I expected. My only confusion is getting the auto AC unit to work properly. In one of the reviews above I noted someone had the same issue and only in Eco mode. I only drive in Eco so tomorrow I'll see if the Sport mode fixes the auto AC unit.

The back seat belt buckle sits to low in the seat. My kids can't buckle themselves in because they can't hold the buckle. Poor Mark's for this safety problem, and standard buckle extenders don't work on Accord back seats.
