This could have been a great car
I made the error in purchasing the 2017 Accord SE Sport without really putting my foot in it and letting the car run. I found out all too quickly that the car was all show and no go. the styling is great the car is beautiful on the outside. interior is par for the course I upgraded to leather I believe a wise choice for the money, the instrument display is easily readable and the fuel economy halo around the speedo is a nice touch. the main display screen is totally useless unless you are in reverse other wise it will show a massive clock or a tally of MPG totals. This could have been a cool feature if they would have spent a little more time on the software side of the car. auto system sounds good with clean high and bass notes blue tooth pairing often fails and requires rebooting the device or the car. the touch to talk button on the steering wheel is worthless as once again the software that drives it is junk. Driving comfort is marginal at best the car is prone to wind noise and if you are driving on anything that has the least amount of bumpiness to the surface you will feel it in your kidneys. All these short comings could be over looked except for the first statement in this review all show NO-GO! This car is equipped with the most powerful I-4 available in the accord but still makes less than 200 horse power. the engine isn't the issue however because when coupled with the manual gear box as I found out later the car can come alive. The problem with the car is the CVT transmission this thing is junk and the worst part is I paid an extra two grand to get it over the 6 speed manual. The CVT transmission makes this car feel like it is in a constant state of slippage don't pull out in traffic if to have a car coming because you will most likely not make it. want to pass someone good luck your stuck behind that person doing 10 under on a two lane road because the car accelerates so slowly. Sure you will eventually get to speed but it will take you awhile. speaking of taking awhile 0-60 times on this car have been exaggerated to say the least plan on spending just over 10 seconds to get from 0-60MPH in drive mode, you will spend 9.89 seconds going 0-60 in sport mode and the best but still poor using the paddle shifters you will eek out the best time of 8.96 seconds 0-60. a far cry from the advertised 0-60 time of 7.5 seconds. But hey we didn't buy the accord to race we bought it for fuel economy right? While it would be nice to be able to pass grandma on a two lane without risking sudden death, if time is on your side than by all means get an accord at an average 32MPG driving with the eco button on. This would be my only reason to keep the accord but don't buy the sport version without the manual as you will just feel like crap getting passed by everything in sight and have no ability to do anything about it .

New, Stylish & Economical
Driving aides can be a bit intrusive and sensitive. Car came to a complete stop on several occasion for approaching objects on the road that are 1" high (i.e. entrance access barriers, metal road construction covers). Both screens have some duplicate information which sometimes makes the other obsolete. Adaptive Cruise Control will sometimes apply the brakes pretty aggressive as you approach a car versus gradually decrease the speed. Interior is very comfortable, good interior storage, quiet ride, however, the rear speaker deck has a tendency to rattle as you increase the bass. Gas mileage is pretty standard for the class. Price is really good. The depreciation is horrible! A little over a 30% percent decrease.

Faulty AC System
The AC on my ‘17 accord is blowing hot air with only 18k miles. It is still under manufacturer warranty. The dealership claims that it is due to road debris which is not covered under the warranty. So basically they are saying that it is my fault for them placing the condenser somewhere that it could be damaged easily without shielding. The customer service department has confirmed the same information. It is an $800 charger for me to fix the problem. I will never choose Honda again.
Noises from front end
Only reason I bought it was for a manual tranny. After about a year developed a clicking noise from front end. Dealer tried to fix six times but still hear it at parking lot speeds. Also full of rattles most of which I eliminated myself Extremely fast and economical. Have averaged up to 40 mpg on my 50 mile commute.
A Great Choice!
Not a lot of acceleration, but great ride, and a comfortable interior. The passenger side leg room is a little shy. Interior materials are very nice and should hold up very well. Several areas of shiny finishes will need regular cleaning to keep smudges down. Combination cloth an faux leather seats with faux leather steering wheel, gear shift and center console cover. Very little storage space in the interior. The center console does not hold my wife's wallet. No satellite entertainment an no USB ports that I've found. CVT can feel boring for acceleration at the low end, especially in economy mode. May need to keep in sport mode for better feel, but less gas mileage. Rear camera give a nice panorama, approx 160 degrees. A very nice car for the price. And expect it to be very reliable.

Wheels
I have the 2017 honda accord sport. Had the car for about 2 years and went to the dealership a number of times for the wheels just for them to tell me nothing is wrong..... I get a heavy vibration on the left side of the car when I'm driving, I have got the wheels balance and wheel alignment done and still nothing! This car isn't good with the tires and rims they put on the car !

Great Car - New and Improved Version
This Accord has a smoother ride since the tires are 16" instead of 15" that were on my 2006 Accord. It sold me on it during the test drive. The 2017 Accord is a new, improved version of the 2006 model. The interior has been updated and the styling is much more attractive. It came in a pearl white which I love. Over all, it is very nice. I love it! A year later, and I still love it. It has great gas mileage between 29 and 31 mpg.

Great value and looks, but that's about it
I've now owned this car for about a year and a half. My overall impressions of the car is very good, especially at this price point. Understandably, tech and features and lacking. However, my rear view camera doesn't have properly calibrated guidelines. I took it to the dealer, only to hear that they can't do anything about it. Disappointing. Gas mileage is also way below advertised averages. I get about 23-24mpg with eco mode on, doing a good mix of freeway and city. To get the advertised mpg, you probably need to apply less than 5% of the throttle at all times, and no one younger than 70 does that (unless you drive a CR-V or a 2009 Lexus RX). But for the price and the looks, this is a solid buy. For my first new car, I'm quite satisfied, but I'll likely be dropping it for something else in 2-3 year's time.

What a cream puff!
The 2017 Honda Accord EX-L is a pure cream puff. It is not only sleek and elegant, but it is a comfortable and smooth ride both inside and out. You will not be disappointed -from the continuous transmission to the keyless entry and start, to the many bells and whistles available on the dashboard. This is the perfect car and you will not be disappointed with it in any aspect. Having driven this car now for 30 months, the car remains a smooth ride with absolutely no issues. I have not been disappointed, and this is my fifth Honda vehicle (4 Accords and an Odyssey minivan). Loyal Honda fan here! Three years in and still very happy with my car. New set of tires, battery, and windshield wipers, and of course, routine oil changes. Still a dreamy ride that has held up beautifully on road trips with excellent mileage — over 400 miles on one tank.

Side bar door rails saved my life
Coming through Mississippi an 18 wheeler cut in and hit the left rear panel. This turned the front toward the truck. The truck number hooks left front door at the f fender and the truck pushed us at 60 mph at a 45 degree angle. Because Honda took the time to do it right. My wife and I are still alive and well.

Great car
We leased this car to replace our Camry with 196000 miles on it. We've had accords before but this one great. Very high quality interior. Solid well built. The CVT transmission took some getting used to but now it's great. Smooth and quiet. It just goes. The folks at Keeler Honda were superb. We worked with Adam Dorn and the experience couldn't have been better.

Not like the old days!
I have a 2001 Honda Accord V6. Love it. So I bought a 2017 Accord V6. Pick-up is not as good; seems to have more play in the steering (I might need to get more used to it); steering wheel is uncomfortable: hard, not comfortable positioning for hands for some weird reason; BLACK dashboard! WHY??? When that sun hits it, the heat jumps back in your face! The radio/sound system is not nearly as good as 15 years ago. I am disappointed and doubt I will keep this car 15 years. If I could get all my money back, I would. Glad I still have the 2001!

I needed a jump 6 times in the last two months
The car is a 2017 it's 2018 and the car needed a jump six times in the last two months. I only bought it because Hondas used to be reliable. I took it to honda and the diagnostic test said battery, alternator and starter are all fine so it could be the 'drawl' not sure what that is but i bought a Honda so I wouldn't need to go through it. Honda is going to lose their customers. They've been going downhill in terms of reliability!

Not the best road handling, almost lost control
Recommend you test drive over 30 minutes on highway, ramps, and curves. The front driver seat is uncomfortable and feels like a lump in lower back even after adjusting lumbar support. With two display Windows there's a lot to view and is distracting punching buttons while driving. It's hard to see the speed you are driving at quick glance. It would be nicer if there was a Marker to show speed range between 55 and 65 mph. There no fast way to mute music. Brake pedal feels far away and hard to stop. This car almost went out of control on a curve. It does not drive as well as my old Volvo of 12 years. So, still adjusting to a bigger car. 2 displays screen keep going out to black. Then rear and side camera and radio won't work. Tire pressure light keeps coming on. No matter time if day clock resets to 1:00 pm when vehicle started.

Love everything about this car except...
The computer system controlling audio, and navigation went out after 2 months. Dealer replaced it. Battery died and had to be replaced at 17k miles. Yes, 17k miles and had to replace battery. Hope they fix these issues before i lease my next one.

Excellent and Stylish Value
An update to my original review below: After just 2.5 years, I happily sold my Accord because I realized after a few months just how horrendously uncomfortable the front seats were. I was upset to even consider getting rid of an otherwise decent car because of the seats. Honda really needs to figure out how to improve interior comfort, especially when it comes to head restraints. The exterior paint also started showing signs of flaking after just a year and a half, which is ridiculous because I maintained and garaged the car meticulously. I now drive an Audi A4, which has been incredibly comfortable. ————————— I came from owning a Volvo S60 (and an Acura TL before that) wanting something reliable and practical with a premium edge. The Accord Sport Special Edition provides an amazing value proposition in a stylish package, with many pros and a few cons. I cannot get over the exterior and interior styling; Honda did an excellent job. I love the amount of space throughout the vehicle, including the large trunk, legroom, headroom and other nooks and crannies. The leather upholstery and fit and finish are great. The visibility from the interior to seeing the road all around you is also excellent - way better than my two previous vehicles. I drive a constant mix of city, suburban and interstate environments - handling and ride is a wonderful balance of responsive, agile and refined. The car feels much lighter on the road than its actual size indicates. Turning radius is great - very easy to get around parking garages, parallel spots and city streets. The rear multi-angle camera is super handy in the urban environment. My only complaints are as follows: 1) the sound system and speakers leave much to be desired, 2) sunroof should be included and standard at this price, 3) auto-dimming mirror would be nice, and 4) I personally prefer regular automatic transmissions to the CVT - the undefined gear-shifting can feel strange. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this car.

Safety Review
I have to say I have owned many accords and a Honda Pilot, I recently sold my 2000 Honda accord EX-L V6 and purchased the 2017 sport special edition sedan about 3 months ago to drive to work which is about 65 miles round trip per day. Last week I was turning left into a shopping center and out of no where I was hit in the side by a motorcycle going 60 mph plus, I did not feel a thing, air bags deployed with no white powder or smell and no loud noise. This was my very first time being in a car that air bags deployed, this car kept me safe with no injuries (guy driving motorcycle had no major injuries luckily) Thank you Honda for making a safe vehicle and so well built that no air bags injured me. If you are looking for a car that gets great gas mileage and very safe, then then is the car. Looks great, drives great, with a great price.

Crazy computer
Computer on my month-old car is crazy. From cruise control, to AC to seat position remembering, I can't depend on this car's performance and have not yet been able to take it to the dealer. The car also talks to me when I'm not inside and my phone is nowhere near. Crazy car. But love driving it. Smooth, easy to drive. And when I learn the complicated navigation, things will be great again.

sorry i bought this car
My car came with a vibration the dealer tells me this is "normal" the tires that came with the car out of balance the dealer balanced them but the car goes into vibration @different speeds. I bought this car from Nardy Honda Smithtown L. I. N.Y. my advice is drive the car you are buying be for you "buy" it. I DIDN'T I am not happy with Honda and there factory reps! I should have drove the car be for I bought it but the car had a dead battery and people like "Edmunds" that gave Honda such a good review what could go wrong

Worse new car purchase in decades
Owned for 13 months with 20K miles. I buy new cars every 3 years, this one has been the worse in a couple of decades. Honda warranty sucks, everything that goes wrong mechanically and electrical seems not to be covered plus they provide no loaner cars under warranty. Seating flattens out on any trip of length, driver door requires you to reach way out of the car to reach and shut. Inside electronics look nice but... layout is horrible taking your eyes off the road to use the few that work in operation even simple things like heat and air. This is the worse driver friendly car during operation I have ever owned plus spending over $1K in repairs the first year of warranty. Prior car was a 2013 Altima, that car was superior to the accord in all facets. it was never in the shop other that oil for $80K miles and very user/driver friendly.

feel Stressed everytime I drive it
Car was great the first year. Second year I had two tires blow out on me, I was told low pro tires are far more sensitive. I live in Los Angeles, roads arent great but I drive carefully and always avoid potholes. I had two alignments done and now Honda is telling me I need another one. One tire has 5/32 tread so Ill need to replace yet another tire. Most concerning thing is that there is a rattling noise coming from the left side of the dashboard, gets worse when going over bumps or accelerating. Honda is wanting $179 just to diagnose. Mind you I spent $400 on two tires, $280 on two alignments and I refuse to pay $179 to diagnose a potentially major thing. I am also pissed that my fog lights were stolen in less than 15 minutes when I went inside my house...terrible manufacturing on hondas part. Most disappointing part is that I come from a family of hondas, have always trusted them but now not too sure. And with this being a lease to buy I plan to return the car. $10,000 down the drain with no constellation for any of it

I'll never buy a Honda again
I'm a huge Honda fan, having owned several over the years. I could hardly wait until the 2017 Accord was released. How disappointed! My turn signals are out of sync: I turn the right on and the left stays on for 4 secs. The AM station plays FM and vice versa. On cold days, the radio won't come on until I turn the car off and restart once the engine gets warm. I live in CT so it can take a while. Now the car won't start at alI and I hold my breath. I've never been able to warm the car up on cold days either. It starts but it's ice cold, although I keep everything blasting the night before. Also, I spend half my ride adjusting the temp controls, as it's never comfortable. *** added 2/21/18: I put on a radio station and the old station stays on.

Awesome design for car under 30K!
Awesome design! I buy it cause every time I see it on the road and I turn my head. I don't really need a car. I own a BMW 328i convertible. The reason I brought the BMW 328i convertible cause it was turning my head every time I see it on the road... Same reason I brought the Accord and It's less than a half of the price of the BMW 328i convertible. very conformable ride and handle not bad but of course can't compare to BMW on the handling department!! Turn my BMW 328i convertible to weekend car.

Annoying Cabin Sounds
I own a 2017 Honda Accord EX, everything seems good but the annoying cabin sounds. I hear an irritating sound behind the steering wheel but I'm not able to figure out what exactly it is. I've been to the Dealer more than 2 times but they're not able to figure out what the actual problem is. They just come up with a reason that every Accord does the same at 30 degrees and below temperature. I'm surprised if that is true for all Accords or just mine. Please leave a response if somebody has the same problem.

Perfect, but...
The car is excellent, comfortable, starts right up, almost no maintenance than oil, brakes and tires. The only two problems are the infotainement screen is laggy and sometimes just freezes... The other problem is the small door trim piece at both rear door windows that started rusting for no reason. I sand them once a year and spray a black coat of paint over them. Otherwise, the car is great. If you are like me, try and find good soft tires for the summer for more comfort. I like the sporty car look, not needing the actual cornering or grip of sport 19 inch tires.

Honda lover
I've owned three Hondas in my lifetime and have enjoyed every one! Usually keep them for 15 years or so reliability is super important to me. I recently purchased a beautiful, used 2017 Accord LX and totally impressed with this car! Agile and easy to drive, reliable and just loving my little car so far. Highly recommend this year and model, if you're in the market to buy.

Great Car! Accord Sport will spoil you!
I've had a 2013 Accord Sport and now a 2017. The 2.4 V-Tech engine drives like a 6 cylinder. Handling is amazing and there is ample power. Bigger brakes then the run of the mill Accord and more horsepower. Aluminum hood is another added bonus. Go check this car out!

The little car that can't
This car will not deliver anywhere near the 34 mpg EPA rating. The engine revs are too high at highway speeds. The engine is turning 2300 rpm's at 75 mph. My 2013 Acura TL with a V-6 and EPA rating of 28 mpg consistently got 20 to 29 mpg on the exact same trips I currently drive and the engine only turned 2000 rpm's. Honda refuses to admit a problem or help. Additionally the acceleration feature on the cruise control does not function as it did on previous models. Now, when the cruise control is engaged and the + button is held down the car will NOT downshift and quickly accelerate to a higher speed. This feature is so sluggish to respond it has been rendered useless by the Honda engineers. Don't take my word, test drive one for yourself; then believe me, you wont get the fuel mileage that is advertised. I wonder if Honda is trying to do what Volkswagen did by cheating the EPA mileage tests with a different setup in the test cars. In any event, after 10 Honda/Acura cars since 2005 this is my last!

Dual Screen Nightmare!
Test Drove all models of the '17 Accord including Hybrid, EXL and Touring and very much liked this car, and was oh so close to pulling the trigger on it, however, decided against it for one specific reason.... The absolutely absurd and pointless Dual Screens! Honda, why, why, why??? You would have been better off with a large 8"+ (think along design lines of Tesla) high-res, easy to see, operate, fast display (yes and with a physical volume knob too!) instead of the current cluster-fu*&ery of dual screen mashup you're offering. People today want clean lines, easy to view/read/operate technology in their vehicles, and certainly from a safety perspective while trying to reduce distractions (having to look at 2 screens is unnecessary and dangerous, and I already know someone who just got into an accident because of being distracted by 2 screens) does this matter. Honda, until then, I'll take my business to other brands.

Love my new 2017 Accord
Feel the road a bit more than I would like, the internal touch screen panel is far from intuitive but is not as bad as some reviewers say, and the UBS port needs to be moved out of the center console to the main control area. These are all very minor complaints. Everything else about the car is excellent-- absolutely top notch-- and, as a repeat Honda buyer, reaffirms why I usually buy Honda products and why the Accord is always rated as one of the best cars. You simply cannot get a better all around car--- for more or less money-- than a Honda. Interior comfort is excellent, the 4 cylinder engine provides plenty of power- even with multiple passengers in the car, MPG is great, and everything was delivered in perfect working condition. Visibility from driver's seat is excellent. I love my new Accord so far.

Disappointed -Features
I loved the sporty look of this vehicle and wanted so bad I could just imagine myself in it. I test drove it and really like it. So I bought one. Well once I get it, I realize it sooo plain! Its like a base model Honda from back in the day. Coming from a 2016 Nissan Maxima S, this car has no really nice features about it. Sure it has Bluetooth and heated leather seats but the bluetooth is like the very first one that came out. My 2009 Maxima had better features than this one. I'm really disappointed but I gotta pay for it now. Definitely trading within 2 years. Glad they did better on the 2018.

Disappointed Honda Girl
I purchased my 2017 Honda, the end of 2016. It was exactly what I wanted. One year into ownership I had to replace two tires which were not under warranty. I also noticed the Bluetooth does not work, it turns off/on(frustrating). This month I had to replace the battery, what!? I was told by service tech that new car battery barely make it 2 years (what). I am so disappointed, I bought a new Honda because of previous reliability. Honda should be ashamed of themselves making their car less dependable.

Not for rear seat passengers but okay car
This may sound crazy but before buying get on a highway at about 65 or 70 and get behind a semi, not close but normal distance. The entire car vibrates and shakes. My 7 yr old gets car sick in the back seat only in this car after about 20 minutes of driving. Other than the windshield wipers being slow in heavy rain these are my only complaints. Peppy 4 banger with AC off, bit sluggish when on. Can't speak for CVT versions.
