Wonderful Car and Easy Buy!
Best purchase I have ever made. My husband and I just moved to Columbus and were so nervous about buying a car. We did some shopping around at dealers and always came out feeling completely ripped off. Then we tried using Edmunds price promise. Best choice! We selected the car we wanted and then just found a dealer near us. Asked all of the dealers near us for quotes and then went and got it! Saved thousands through Edmunds and we are differentially going to use it when we have to buy our next car. :) As for the car...it's a Honda. Great ride, great placement of controls, looks so cool driving :) Also crazy adjustable. I am 5 foot and my husband is over 6 feet and we both are able to fit in the car perfectly! I am completely thrilled with my buy still months later and don't see that changing soon.

Excellent on technology; falters on audio & shifts
Overall this is a very good car, but I have two main issues with it: the sound system is poor, and the transmission "jerks" the driver as it shifts. The sound system does not handle highs and lows of sound properly. I expect much more out of the "premium" seven speaker sound system I paid extra to add onto this car. On researching the issue, it is apparently inherent in the output for noise canceling in order to keep the care quiet. But it ends up making the audio terrible. There used to be a solution to this as described on internet forums: what you would do is open up a secret menu on the screen, then set "FLAT" to off. But, in newer versions of the car Honda has taken the ability to modify this feature away. Thus I am stuck with this terrible sound. The second issue I have with the car is the transmission. When upshifting or downshifting there is a noticeable "jolt" or "jerk" to the car. This is FAR worse in cold weather. If you live in a climate that is cold year round, I would avoid purchasing this car. From what I have read, this is somehow due to government requirements to implement shifting to keep gas usage low (supposedly). Besides these jerks, the car with v6 engine does accelerate fast. Otherwise, the main way the car shines is with its tech. The lane sensing ability is pretty good at staying in lanes. If you let go of the steering wheel, the car will beep at you after about 30 seconds to touch the wheel again. You can get the car to fully take on lane sensing by just lightly putting pressure on the wheel but letting it do all the work. Careful on turns and at exits - it tends to lose its way. Adaptive cruise control is a feature I never knew I needed. This dramatically increased safety on the highway, highly decreasing your chances of hitting any car. But if you are in a high traffic area, best to turn it off. The car leaves too big of a gap in that case and lets other cars sneak in front of you. Then the car smashes the brakes to but another gap in between you. It's not too much of an issue once you get to know your car but can be annoying. There's a right sided blind spot camera that's neat but for some reason not one on the left side. If you accelerate toward a car to fast and get to close, an orange light beeps at you to warn you. It's helpful. The display panel interface is pretty wonky to use, not user friendly. Apple Carplay is an amazing addition (it's not easier to use by touch than just using your phone, but it does look very nice on the screen. The integration with Siri comes in handy. I find myself using it to navigate). The car seems to be tight on steering. Overall the car is very quiet. Bottom line, this is a very good car. But the problems with the sound system and transmission hurt its performance. At $30K for a V6 touring Honda Accord, I can't help but think I'd be better off with an Audi.

Its a great car, and the dealers know it, so you have to haggle a lot to get a decent price. I had to walk from the same dealer three times and refused to return until they eould deal.

Do not get the CVT
Bought a 2016 Acord early this year. In less than 6 months it has to go back to the dealer for some CVT software fix. And the dealer closes by 4 so have to take it on the weekend. Did not plan pn spending my weekends at the dealer when I bought this car!

Love my Accord!
This car is amazing. Great comfort and technology as well. The front LED's are wonderful looking, as well as the rear ones. AWESOME GAS MILEAGE!! I get an average of 33 mpg, and my 2013 Fusion got only an average of 30mpg! I highly recommend this over the Fusion..or any car!!!

Disappointed
I'm just making my 2nd payment today on my 2016 Accord and it is in the shop with electrical issues very disappointed. I really would like to return it now. I went from having a Nissan and wish I had went back to Nissan.
Disappointed with suspension
2016 Touring needed front struts, rack and subframe replaced due to clunking from day one. Honda was unable to fix my vehicle and ultimately bought it back under Lemon Law(after fighting with them using an attorney)

I like this car
Lets face it if you are looking for a fun car that is going to make you smile every day from the shear joy of driving this is not the car. But if you want a stable solid car that gets you there safely, and the Honda Sensing makes it safe its hard to go wrong. I am getting about 30mpg, in a large safe quiet car that is easy to drive for 1000's of miles. I don't know how quickly it goes 0-60, don't know how fast I can corner on some extreme road, but I do know the brakes and other stuff that keeps me alive works.

okay car
I wish that I researched this car more. I had to get seat cushions because the seat was not comfortable, it was hurting my back. I had to get pedal extenders because I was sitting to close to the wheel and i couldn't reach the gas comfortable and adjust the wheel comfortably. I like the climate control and the fact that I sit high and it's roomy. I am getting used to the car and now I do like the car after all these adjustments. I just hope I won't have car problems like I am reading that people have.
Not going quietly in San Marino Red.
This car's days are numbered. The availability of a full size (OK, large mid-size) sedan with a manual transmission is nearly "non." Moved up from a manual sports compact with some performance upgrades (suspension/exhaust) to what I believe will be something softer and more mature. The 2016 Accord Sport 6MT is smooth and polished, beautifully built, commodious and quiet. The 6-speed is the most effortless and precise I've driven. A high volume dealer can help sort some of what is missing from the factory on this trim (heated leather seats) as accessory items. Don't let dealers affect a market adjustment on the car because of "rarity." 6MT Sports are only rare because the take rate is low. You can practically name your price and order it. The dealer will be happy not to have to finance it to sit on the lot. I am in the process of breaking it in slowly, but I will be reaching for that mid-6 second 0-60 soon enough. Wish me luck. *UPDATE* Highway gas mileage continues to impress, often >37mpg. Daily mileage around town with ECON engaged ranges between 30 and 32 mpg on summer blend fuel. Intermittent rattle from rear shelf suspected. *UPDATE* Just passed the 1-year. Looking good with only one minimally curb rashed wheel casualty. Some minor mods: Sport horn, UV tint, trunk tray and all weather mats. Gas mileage continues to impress even with winter blend fuel. Dealer unable to yet solve recurring rear deck rattle known on Accords. Issue has existed since 2013 so Honda should have figured it out by now. Little stuff like this diminishes customer delightment. It just cost them one interior star. *UPDATE* Gas mileage continues to ASTOUND. Using ECON average >33mpg mixed driving since last oil change. Intermittant rear deck rattle continues to frustrate. All else holding up very well. I am investigating whether disengaging ECON on long uphill grades actually enhances gas mileage by allowing the variable timing to work with throttle better under that kind of load. Any support for this theory? *UPDATE* At 20K miles, still playing hide and seek with the rear deck rattle. This is a black eye on what otherwise has been a stellar ownership experience. Dealership should expect to enact January 2017 TSB on this at next oil change. One relatively inexpensive modification made that has provided great enhancement: swapping out the stock 14mm rear sway bar for 19mm one from the Acura TL. Side by side the stock bar looks like a coat hanger. I am shocked at how much understeer and body roll I had become accustomed to. This is a SPORT for crying' out loud. UPDATE: both rear brake calipers seized within 1000 miles of one another with less than 50K miles revealing a weakness in the design of a major safety item. Handbrake use to secure the vehicle when parked is likely the cause but Honda has made enough manual transmission vehicles to not have provided parts capable of such sustained use. The response from American Honda bordered on rude, and unacceptable. because of a low 7% take rate Honda no longer offers manual Accords but their refusal to support their product’s premature failure is unacceptable. Docking two stars from reliability. That said, gas mileage using eco button remains stellar especially important in current situation.

NEVER AGAIN
The front seat design is hideous. Good luck if u have a bad back and if you don't you will by the time u drive it more than 30 minutes. I can see why they give such short test drives and no interstate access. Lumbar adjustment a joke. Turned car into to another brand because they Honda wouldn't work with me to put in a different vehicle. Returned car with 300 miles and the fearless hip where purchased offered an insulting amount to trade in. At least $7000 less after less than 6 days of ownership. WILL NEVER BUY OR REFER ANYONE TO HONDA AGAIN...

Buyers, Beware of the Stereo and other electronics
After taking delivery of EX-L NAVI and driving couple of days, I started to notice there is sound re-production is not well so I thought that it might be the audio settings to tune with. I make the changes in sound settings by changing BASS, TREBEL as well Subwoofer. After making changes to the audio settings, still there is an issue with the sound quality. At least I'm not expecting this kind of worst sound quality from the premium audio system. After few days, I've noticed that what settings which I've made for volume is changed to the lowest level at 10 and I correctly remembered that I've set to 15. I thought it might be my oversight so I've continuously observed the behavior. I've reported issues with the stereo due to the settings were not saved and sound quality is not good specifically with the FM and XM. After investigation, the service advisor reported back that there is nothing wrong with stereo. I was not convinced with the response. After that incident I’ve started continuously monitoring the stereo performance. Again, I’ve noticed that the stereo screens are not changing when I change the channels on the radio. I thought that might be intermittent issue and ignored at that day. On subsequent days, I’ve noticed that the stereo screen is freezing and it does not correctly report currently playing channel. So I took my vehicle to the dealership and explained the service advisor what is happening and showed him a video about the stereo behavior. After the investigation, I got call from the service advisor that my vehicle is ready to be picked up. So I went to dealership to pick up the car. The next morning, the issue again comes up and I went back to the dealership to report the issue. This time, the other service advisor has seen the issue and acknowledges it. He re-opened the previous RO for further investigation. After the feedback from Honda, they replaced the Tuner board in car. After 3 days, the same issue arises and I went to dealership to report the problem and for resolution. The service adviser told me that they have to replace the entire stereo unit. Till now, the resolution is not happened. After the numerous repair attempt, at the end the issue has been resolved but it introduced new issue. Now, the navigation system is always crashing. Last time when the navigation crashed, I'm unable to see where I'm going and I've got lost and it takes me additional 3 hours to reach my destination. My advice to every buyer of this model to thoroughly check the stereo and other electronic quipment prior to making any purchase decision. I believe this is the issue with all models. As most people does have a navigation screen on the main display screen and they may not be able to notice this weird behavior.

Overall the car is great. The cargo area is a little skimpy. I would like to be able to individually turn off the vents on the right and left of the audio system display. I especially like the backup camera and the passenger sideview mirror camera.

A Real Dream Car
I am a Honda-for-life person. I was in a T-bone collision with an SUV about a month ago as the driver of my 2008 Honda Accord sedan. The airbags deployed properly, and neither I nor any of my three passengers was seriously injured. That put the lynch pin in my decision to replace that car with the same make and model. The 2016 model is a real joy to drive. It is so quiet that I sometimes think I must have turned off the engine. My only suggestion for improvement is that the dealership should offer an hour course in setting and operating the multitude of electronics in the car. Seriously! My Honda dealer will help me with this problem, but there should be an actual class. In summary, the 2016 Honda Accord Sedan is a wonderful car!

Excellent value, great looks, beautiful redesign..
We had the same model Accord for 10 years and it was going strong with 130,000 miles, never in the repair shop once. It was wrecked in an accident so it was replaced with same model, Accord EXL. The new 2016 model is fantastic value for the money, a timeless design, very reliable, great on gas, and great resale value...not that we'd ever sell it! Loads of passenger room, very comfortable front and back seats and good size trunk. The tech is quick to learn and works very well with android (me), or Apple (my wife). Not a single thing I could ask for on this car.

2016 Accord Touring Tire Feathering
After 10k miles, start to hear scratching noise at highway speed. Took it in for service today and was told that the noise was caused by tire feathering. Did alignment and will see how bad it will go. Not sure how long the initial equipment tire will last, but kind of early to quit on me. Overall the car is great. But something could be wrong even it is a Honda. Update on 09/07/2017: For Touring you need to do alignment every year for New England road, otherwise a very nice car.

Worst car that I ever owned!
I bought this car in 2016. Before that drove Camry 2009 and had no issues ever up till even now. With new "addition" in our household I started having all kinds of problems from the very beginning of my ownership of this Honda Accord Sport 2016: after just 1 month, voice recognition started failing, pandora stopped working, in a year or year and a half in winter the car didn't start one time (battery was ok though), heating system started blowing cold air and last winter I was freezing in my car to and from work, camera failed 1 time and yesterday another time, car didn't start again when I needed to pick up my Mom from the airport 2 months ago, and there was also an issue when all of a sudden the car wouldn't accelerate when I pushed the gas pedal on the highway and on local roads too... I kept bringing my car for the past 3 years (since I bought it brand new), to 4 different dealerships on regular basis in hope that it will be fixed, but they didn't do anything, saying that they couldn't replicate the issue.. Years are going by, my car didn't start again and camera failed... Now my car is our of warranty and all these issues are continued, should they be finally "replicated", I will probably have to pay out-of-pocket at this point... MotoWerks in Barrington was unbelievably inconsiderate and even rude to me. Took my car for repairing these issues, gave me a loaner, forgot about me for 2 weeks, noone made any contact, then when I called there myself to ask about the status of my vehicle, they said that they csny repair it because they can't replicate the issue and demanded their loaner back, while I was after surgery on bed rest! In June of 2019, during my next attempt to fix all these issues in my car, the manager crossed the line at all - while they didn't repaired my vehicle AGAIN, and didn't even care about it, he at that very same moment demanded their loaner back and after I said that we have a death in a family and funeral in a day or two, asked if I could return their loaner few days later, in a meantime maybe they would finally fix my car, he not only refused me, but he also threatened me to call the police and report their vehicle "as stolen"! HIS RESPONSE WAS NOY ONLY DISRESPECTFUL BUT IT WAS EVEN SHOCKING!!! That was my last encounter with Honda dealership before my warranty expired..I've seen disrespect from sales people and managers on occasion before, but THIS ONE WAS BEYOND BELIEF! THIS MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED FOR SUCH MISCONDUCT TOWARDS A CUSTOMER! As to a Corporate, they are of no help either!!! They just kept sending me back to the dealerships, where the system must have been designed for NOT finding a problem that customer is suffering from with a car, and REFUSE TO OFFER ANOTHER SOLUTION SINCE I CONTINUEHAVING THESE ISSUES BUT DEALERSHIPSARE UNABLE TO FIX THEM. If I ever get in to a car accident due to malfunctioning of my vehicle and manufacturer's unwillingness to resolve a problem for me, this will be THEIR FAULT AND THEIR RESPONSIBILITY! So... I'm stuck with a defective vehicle, dealerships can't fix it and corporate refuses to refund me the money by "lemon" law.. MY RECOMMENDATION - STAY AWAY FROM HONDA AND BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER!!! OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE STUCK WITH DEFECTIVE VEHICLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND YOU WON'T GET ANY HELP FROM ANYWHERE FOR AS LONG AS YOU OWN THIS CAR!!! By the way, I taking excellent care of my car, deive it very little - for 3 years and 3 months has just 20k miles on it.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HOBDA TO ANYONE!!!

Honda lover but Accord 2016 dissapointed me
I am a Honda lover but after buying Accord 2016 and using it for so many days, I feel Honda Accord CVT version is not worth money paid, specifically for ride comfort, noisier cabin and stereo. The stereo as Honda indicates a premium stereo with 360W is not equivalent to 30W stereo. On the ride comfort I can even feel the a small pot holes. I don't even get blind spot even after paying such a high amount for EX-L. I totally dissapointed with Accord 2016.

Honda goes down hill
This is my 4th Honda and after owning this car for 5 months I truly will never buy another Honda again!!!! What a joke. I can't even believe this carries the name Honda on it. I'm so disappointed with the car that I've tried trading it 3 times and I would be losing a substantial amount of money. The car is uncomfortable on long rides, there is a rattling noise in the dash that just started last month and the service department can't fix it. The gas mileage is not what is on the window sticker. The acceleration on the highway is horrendous. The only good thing about the car is the exterior styling. Like they say never judge a book by it's cover. What a mistake it was this time. Looks like I will be going American for the 1st time. Update*** I finally got out of the car. What a terrible vehicle! I’m so disappointed with Honda!! I’ve since looked at the new design and it is by far the ugliest Honda Accord I have seen. I don’t think I could drive another Honda Accord again which is very disappointing because I loved my other Honda accords.

Model EX-L is a rip off
2016 Accord added a feature call "Honda Sensing" which is included in the navigation package that costs $2000, which includes FCW, LDW, etc. However, you guys need to know that 2013-2015 Accord EX-L include FCW and LDW as a standard instead of an optional package that cost $2000 dollar. I rather buy an ipad to be my navigation system.

Still a Great Bang for the buck after 9 years!!!!
Be careful to avoid pot holes as the 19" tires could blow out!!! Maintain proper inflation!!! Other than that, still love the car. The android auto is awesome. The hands-free texting is a plus also!!! Still perfect after 3 & 1/2 years of flawless transportation. Perfect blend of comfort and a sporty ride!!! As the car is now just over 6 years old with 32,104 miles on it, STILL LOVE IT!!! Pretty much maintenance-free; just oil changes, tire rotations, and some regular maintenance. On trips mileage is 38 MPG plus. Have replaced carpet mats with upgraded mats, that's all. Now at just over 40,000 miles, just getting ready for a brake job, fronts only!!! Still almost smells like new inside and simply couldn't be more happy about a car that is just over eight years old. Still zooming along with just regular maintenance, simply a great no headache means of awesome driving as of 01-15-2025!!!

Not the ride I expected....
I expected the Honda Accord to have a smooth ride with great pick up ... It did not... There was a constant vibration in the steering wheel, while driving at 60 mph... Very disturbing on a new car... Wondered what would happen over time... Decided not to trust the reliability of Honda products any longer after having so many recalls on my current Hondas 3 of them to be exact... Even the new 2016 Honda Civic has already 2 major recalls... It is to bad Honda does not stand behind their products or care about their loyal customers... Hello brand new Toyota Camry.

Accord V6 is a great ride!
Test drove Toyota Camry, Accord Sport, Mazada 6 (Standard) was very compelling, and this was the best drive. I like the seats on my old VW Passat a little better, but so fart that is the only little disagreement. I like that it takes regular unleaded, the oil filter is an actual filter, and it is not too hard to get at.

The only feature of this car I do not like is the infotainment system, which is overly complex and unintuitive. Also, be sure to make the dealer FULLY demonstrate the use of this hodge-podge system. Otherwise, a great drivers car, even for tall people.

Great car!!!
This is our third Honda accord LX lease, after 11 yrs with a f-150 truck decided to go back to the Honda. Let me start with fit and finish are second to none interior seems well built. The back up camera is a nice feature, but all view angles out of the windows are easy to see. Instrumentation is very well laid out and easy to use(lot more features than our 07 accord) The CVT transmission is great but a little getting used to, horse power is rated at 185 which perfect for merging into traffic, but still getting great gas mileage. Breaks....what can I say it's a Honda, great stopping power and peddle feel. Looked at the Toyota, but they just don't have the fit and finish of the Honda.

Sporty! Zippy! And Reliable
Eight years ago I was on the hunt for a mid-sized sedan with a manual transmission. I discovered that there are precious few of these being sold in the North American market. Even foreign car manufacturers, like Volvo and Toyota, stopped making them. (I was taken aback when a mechanic told me that if want a Mazerati or Porsche with a manual transmission, you have to special order it.) After looking for nearly a year, I heard that Honda makes an Accord stick model. So I called the dealer, and whaddaya know, they had just gotten a used one in that had been a sales rep's vehicle at their Ohio factory. I went right over and drove it. Two guys were waiting to drive it when I returned to the dealership. I went in and signed the papers to buy it, and have never had a moment of regret doing so. I've owned a series of manual transmission cars, starting with a VW in 1965. My Honda Accord is undoubtedly the best one I've driven. The transmission is smooth, the ride comfortable, the steering responsive. For my first trip, I drove it to West Virginia and had a blast driving it on the narrow, twisting mountain roads. It has good acceleration for passing, gets great gas mileage. On the two-hour trips at 55-60 mph to our cabin, it regularly gets close to 40 mpg. And it looks good: red with 16" wheels. The downside of the larger wheels is that traction is not as good in snow, a liability in northern Minnesota. In 2021 Honda discontinued the manual transmission Accord. I intend to keep mine as long as possible. So far, the car has needed only a couple of minor repairs. I love driving it. Great car.

Reliable Comfort at Reasonable Price
If you are looking for a car that performs the way you would expect a higher priced model to behave, such as an Acura or Lexus, but at a more reasonable price, this is the car for you. If you really want to stomp on it the car will really go. But we are much gentler drivers and have only put 10,000 on the car in a little over a year. It is the first new car we have purchased that has not had even a single nit-picky issue during those 12 months. Navigation and Honda Sensing function effectively once you become accustomed to using them, and accept the fact that they are merely "driver assist" features and don't expect more. We are completely satisfied with the value it offers for the price we paid.

I traded in my 2004 Acura TL for a 2016 ex-L 6 cylinder Sedan. Pros: Looks great, gas mileage on the highway is 34 mpg and 26 around town. Love the steering....almost a modified rack and pinion feel. The 6 cylinder has great acceleration, yet great regular gas mileage. Comfortable and good leg room in the back seat for guests. Trunk has plenty of space. What's not to love? Cons: I've gotten used to the all touch screen electronics. I would prefer a modified tech package with some commonly used functions having buttons vs. touch. Touch often forces you to take your eyes off the road, although the radio volume and channel changes can be done from the steering wheel. I don't miss my TL much - this car is a real winner. Honda should be using this great 6 cylinder engine in more of their vehicles.

Great value for a great car!
There is a reason they sell so many of these things. 2.5 years and it is running like brand new, maybe even better. Not a single thing has gone wrong. My only gripe is a somewhat confusing and below average infotainment system which I believe they have improved on subsequent models. (ETA: After another year the infotainment/bluetooth system is even more frustrating. I really do hope they improved that after 2016. That brings my rating down a star for me.)

A good, decent car!
This is my second Honda Accord. First one was a 2001. Very pleased with that car. I got this one because I wanted Apple CarPlay (love it), V6 and leather. Overall I like the car, it's an accord, pretty standard vehicle, you can't go wrong. Three dis-appointments: 1) The leather is a cheap leather, not like I had in the 2001. Feels like plastic. 2) There is no change box (strange I thought all cars had a place for change), 3) There is not quick way to mute the stereo, you have to press two buttons. Pain to do when your driving. Other than those things it's a great car.

I’m not a car guy, but this car is hard to dislike
I’m at 60K Miles just went up to the mountains and got 35.5 MPG. No repairs needed, just maintenance. I’d buy again

Stylish and sporty
Purchased 2016 Accird, great safety features, great looks without the thousands of dollars spent on imports like BMW or Mercedes. For the money best sedan out there. Honda has stepped up their game and come out with another great Accord. 6 months and more to love about this car. 28 mpg makes a trip to the pump once every 10 days

Love It!
Working with Edmunds helped us find my perfect car and their prices were spot on. Edmunds saved me a lot of research! I still love this car - have had a Honda since 1999 and feel that this 2016 Accord is the best yet! 2018 - My Honda never disappoints and is a pleasure to drive. Still think it is the best ever!

Nice car but needs tweaks
There are two info screens which doesn't make any sense. As well the lane sensor only works on the passenger side, which again is not logical. I like seeing the indicators on the side mirrors which the Accord doesn't have. The middle storage/armrest is too short-not long enough for both the passenger and the driver to comfortably rest your arms. The trunk is a decent size but the opening into the back seat area is small. Finally the rims are ugly unless you get the sport or the V6. I love the look of the car but there are too many things I don't like about it. I'll wait to see what they do with the 2018 version.
