Best bang for buck for economy car
As a long time Honda owner and having gone through 6 different generations of Accords, 3 gens of Civics - I must say the 2016 Honda Accord is bar none the best looking of them all, dare I say best looking of all economical mid sized sedans on the market. Exterior: LED running lamps and brake lights, dual chrome tipped exhaust, paired with the 19 inch factory rims (on the Sport model) really gives an expensive European look on the new Accord. Smooth body lines and the chrome trim pieces really makes the exterior a top of the line car to look at. INTERIOR: is simplistic and classy. The sport model isn't as flashy without the dual screen for navigation and apple play but it suffices for your daily needs of music, MPG stats, and the new feature of adding photos via USB. Gauge cluster is appealing and consist of a glowing ring that goes from white to green depending on fuel efficiency/how you drive. Spacious enough for 4 full grown adults with plenty of leg room in the front and rear. Middle seat in the rear is always uncomfortable but you can still manage to squeeze someone in without too much discomfort. Trunk space is very large and I haven't had any issues shopping at Costco and fitting anything I need to thus far. The bluetooth system is rather poor as I have had multiple issues with connections cutting on and off, since a recent software update on my phone though, I haven't run into the issue - however the lack of being able to voice dial by name is rather bothersome. Pandora and bluetooth connectivity for music works rather seamlessly, although I would rather have XM Radio capabilities instead of Pandora. The way around it is still to stream XM via phone and run it via bluetooth - but that does use up data. Engine/Tranny: It's got enough umpf for a 4 banger to get up and go when you need it to. The CVT transmission shifts flawlessly through all gears. Launching off the line feels rather sluggish, despite using the paddle shifters. There's enough power in the upper end and responsive enough on the freeway to get out of situational hazards. Braking feels solid and cornering the car really sticks to the road, it being FWD definitely helps pull through corners are high speeds than what signs recommend. It's no race car by any means but it's perfect for daily driving. If you want power and speed pick up the V6 model. Honda really stepped up their game with their new 2016 line up on all vehicles. The Accord is easily my favorite. I do however wish that I spend the extra money for the EX or EX-L. Missing the amenities of keyless entry when I have my hands full of groceries or having to reach into my pockets to find my keys. Sunroof on the warm days or cool summer nights. Auto dimming mirrors when driving in front of a truck or a small car with high beams on. Mostly the memory seats, as I share the car with my wife throughout the week and it's tedious to constantly have to adjust the seat and mirros. Heated seats for the cold winter days. Given that the EX-L is quite a bit of a step up in price compared to sport and has less the fancy 19 inch wheels and dual exhausts, I'd much rather have luxuries than the asthetics. If you've never had these features you probably won't miss it as the car asthetically is a huge upgrade for anyone. If you have had these options in a previous vehicle you'll miss it greatly. Overall I don't think there is a better car for value and looks on the market. The sport model is perfect for someone who likes to have good looks and value in their car - for the long term I'd recommend picking the higher model because you dont' realize what you're missing until you don't have it. But I'd say I'm still happy with my purchase.

One of the best cars for the money.
The Honda Accord Sedan is a near perfect bang for your buck. Great looks and Honda quality. I've gotten several compliments on the car and surprised statements of "That's a Honda". That being said I feel there are some minor tweaks that would make this the perfect car. I'd like to see the same power of my former Acura TL but not at the expense of the improved mpg. The entertainment interface is a bit glitchy, particularly the Apple CarPlay. Sometimes it will not connect and it seems that the technologies "compete" with one another. I'm hoping there will be an upgrade to the entertainment software that will resolve these minor but annoying issues. The front seats and not the most comfortable for long trips.

head turner
First off, I owned a 2012 Accord LX-P, it was a great car. We liked it so much that we just traded it in for an upgrade, a 2016 Accord Sport. It was a huge upgrade from our previous model, very sporty looking, drives and handles amazing and lots of goodies on the inside as well. You'll be happy with this car

better than my BMW 335i except the drop top
the Honda v6 is an excellent value and great fun to drive. larger than the 335i, 6 inches wider and a foot longer but handling is excellent and has a more stable feel. I strongly recommend it

Used to be better
-> As compared to my 2005 Honda Accord V6 EX-L, I found following items a step down in the new 2016 Honda Accord V6 EX-L: * Side door storage compartment used to be 2.5 times larger and could hold 8.5x11 paper as well as 5 bottles of water. Now, it fits 2 bottles of water and not much else. this reduction applies to all doors on all new models, at least until 2016. See 2016 MDX doors for space comparison, which is similar to what I had in my old car. * The space on the door where the window meets the panel and where the driver used to be able to put his arm is now half in width. the panel also is not secure and if you press just a bit you will hear squeaking of materials. It does not feel as solid as it did before and screeches a bit if you press on it. * The steering wheel is no longer ribbed at the bottom for your fingers and is just plain smooth surface. This as well as the material used in the older model was what made the grip feel secure, but not as much now. The new material feels like a softer replacement covered in chalk and making my hands slide. I don't feel as secure driving with this wheel, especially when hands are dry. * The entertainment system buttons are now gone and are replaced with touch screen. They did a decent job with 2 screens, but I miss the old round button for volume, it was convenient and fast. * Yet another miss is the center console. It used to slide out and extend forward to allow the driver to place his right arm and provide arm relief. Does not extend any more and is fixed instead. The space in the console has been reduced in half. * Space reduction also applies to the glove compartment which now also looks 40% of original size. It used to fit 8.5x11 paper just fine and that can not be done any longer. * The center console as well as couple of other parts are accented with shiny and reflective black plastic. These will need to be constantly cleaned and are prone to scratches just like a cell phone screen. Honda allows 3rd party to meld vinyl over these shiny parts at an additional cost, but it just sounds like an afterthought. * Very noisy at highway speeds. * Driver side split mirror is dumb as it accomplishes nothing. * The visors are thinner and sometimes the sun shines between the cracks. * The windshield no longer has tinted strip at the top, making it hard to drive with sun in the front. -> Furthermore, following are the trouble points I find with the new 2016 Honda Accord V6 EX-L: * Transmission is wacky to say the least. It shifts in and out, clinking and clunking at various gears and speeds. Most of this happens in the first 3 gears where I have to fight with the car to try and keep driving smoothly. This car is simply unable to drive smoothly. Often times I hear transmission click, smack, or make loud popping noise. At times it feels dragging in the wrong gear and vibrating the entire car as a result. At times, after standing at a traffic light, the car has a 1+ second delay after which it makes a loud smack and then hesitantly moves. Other times, the car has a delay between stopping and going, noticeable enough that in traffic it is very hard to navigate around other cars. Lastly, at times, from stop to go, it feels like it is accumulating power, then smacks the engine and the transmission gears, making loud noise, all the while going not that fast. It's embarrassing in front of other drivers who are looking at this soap opera. The transmission feels so bad that at times I want to just drive the car off the cliff. * The car has very poor stereo. Whether it is the problem with head unit, amplifier or the speakers, I do not know. But I can tell you this, the radio (AM/FM) has NO base at maximum or it is being leveled out by the system. XM radio has some base, but it is all over the place, along with mids and highs, and at times so much that the speakers are distorting and vibrating uncontrollably. Whoever put the system together is either tone death or got so many cheap ideas together that the entertainment system suffered a stroke as a result. Car has digital FM radio, but it keeps going in and out of reception, changing tones as such, and making the whole experience unpleasant. * I found brakes on this car are underpowered and it feels like it struggles to stop at times; though when stopping from highway speeds to a stop, they also sometimes feel like jamming - probably in combination with transmission gearing down. Long story short, it stops either too fast or too slow. Overall, I expected much more. I am coping with it at this point until I can get rid of it and get a better car with a decently working transmission. I do not think Honda is the right brand for me going forward, although, I really like many of the features and the previously left feelings from the last car as well as on paper features list.

Good car few issues with head unit
This is great comfortable car. Only issue is head unit got turned off and did not start back. Finally one fine day car battery is drained and I need to jump start the vehicle and the head unit is back to life. Head unit is dead for almost a week until car battery is drained and dealership could not diagnose the problem. Everything works well after the above mentioned issue and have driven more than 8500 miles and it is great reliable car. If we can spend some time and get the right seating position which makes you comfortable to drive for long hours we can easily drive 1000 miles a day on this car I have driven 935 miles in a day.

Honda Sense(less)
Honda sensing has some glitches: it has the annoying habit of braking when changing lanes, which can be very disconcerting stopping between lanes on a highway, the "brake" warning is extremely sensitive. The lane change camera ( which has been discontinued) completely "washes out" in rain, all you see on the instrument screen is water! The ridiculous spit mirror on drivers side - Fortunately both features have been discarded for the warning in the side view mirrors.

1st Honda
This is our 1st Honda after years of Toyotas because the grills on the new Toyotas are so ugly we could not bring ourselves to buy one. Still too new to answer some of the questions but looks great and rides great. Some of the technology is not so easy to figure out and there is a lot of it. The navigation system appears to be outdated already as some construction completed in the last 2 years was not recognized. No USB port in the back seat is inconvenient and the cup holders are too deep for small cups. Not nearly as many little places to store things as our Toyotas had but the trunk is bigger.

2016 Honda Accord Sport
The Honda Accord Sport is a fun car to drive, gives you a smooth and agile ride. The vehicle has decent power but certainly not as much power as a Subaru WRX, Camry XSE, or Maxima. I enjoyed driving the Sport, no complaints in handling, response, acceleration, etc. I felt that Honda cheapened out in materials and amenities. The 19" Alloy wheels look slick but easily "curbed" and one of the tires had a sidewall issue under 17,000 miles. In terms of Amenities, the entertainment is sorely lacking....a 4 speaker system with a weaker wattage head unit. Even the CRV EX comes with a better system. While the pseudo leather trimmed seats look nice, you can feel the lack of quality. Other amenities such as heated seats or a sun roof would have been nice. Overall its a nice vehicle but Honda could have made even more improvements.

IT is a great car, I really enjoy the features, simple and clean, yet up to date on technology. Good job, Honda. I hope it's as good as my previous 2004 Honda Accord which game little to no trouble.

Solid family sedan with a great V6
If you like to drive and want a roomy reliable family sedan with a powerful engine that sounds great, the Accord V6 is a good choice. After owning a BMW 3 series for 8 years, it was hard to adjust to this car. It felt too big and soft. But as I've gotten to know it, it drives smaller than it is, it rides well, it's quiet on smooth roads and the V6 loves to rev. It does its job well without making a fuss. It also gets good gas mileage on the highway and it's been very reliable. The Accord doesn't drive as well or feel as good as the best German sedans and I sometimes miss my BMW. But for the money, it's hard to beat and it should be trouble free for many years. If you are an enthusiast that can afford the best German sedans, they are worth the premium, especially if you lease them and get the advantages without the disadvantages (long term maintenance and repair costs). But for many enthusiasts with limited means, buying an Accord and spending a a few grand more for that great V6 is a winning proposition.

2016 White Rabbit
The longer I have the car the better I like it. Had no mechanical problems and the Gas mileage is great. Doubt I would be interested in the comparable 2018 model. Paddle shifters and the lack of a hand held transmission lever turns me off. Have read complaints about the dual screens in the previous models but the gigantic thing sticking up on the dashboard in the 2018's is a distraction.

I love my 2016 Honda Accord EX-L
This is best car I have ever owned. I have owned over 10 different cars over the years, and this 2016 Accord is the best car for the money, I compared it to a Volvo S80, and a Subaru Legacy it is far superior. The ride, handling, comfort, features they are the best.

All Around Great Car
I got this car when it was 1 year old and have had it for 2 years and 7 months. There's not much to complain about. I don't regret getting this Accord. I'll probably keep the car and hand it off to my daughter when she starts driving, maybe, if I don't keep it for my own. Pros: Great build quality and solid material choices. The design elements are good. The 3.5L engine is a shining star amongst engines. The car is stable on the highway at normal speeds (55 MPH to 95 MPH). In sweepers it shimmies when the back has more weight in it. Probably a set of springs that are more progressive would help with that. I've had no mechanical breaks. It does most everything pretty well. Cons: Automatic transmission. It seems to buck the trend common to most ATs. When pushed, it is smooth, precise and does what it needs to, right when it needs to. The problem is when it is tootling along in undulating heavy traffic. The transmission bucks and bumps shifting between gears. A few times if seemed like it was momentarily caught between gears. Honda issued a TSB where the fluid is changed and the computer is reprogrammed. That TSB reduced the shifting issues to a very acceptable level, but don't expect an ultra smooth operation under all conditions. One other transmission quirk with many of the Honda 6 speed autos is that the first gear operation will almost seem like they are a CVT. Not a bad thing, but just something to note. Modifications: I have done a few updates/upgrades because I cannot leave stuff well enough alone. The rear sway bar was swapped out with a much stiffer version off of an Acura TLX. This helped a good deal with understeer. The low beam headlight bulbs were replaced with higher end LEDs from XeonDepot. The light output and distribution on the road is way better. Stick with the OEM bulbs for high beam unless you use them often and need far reaching light. If you do high beam upgrades, look into HIDs. The LEDs I've tried haven't been impressive in high beam application. The premium stereo system was mostly replaced. The stock system isn't bad, but if you really like your music loud and clear, you may find the stock system lacking. I kept the HU since the line out signal is pretty good for a stock unit. Non-EX/Touring trims will want to replace the HU altogether since the signal isn't good from those. You will need to use a LOC since the HU outputs are too strong for low level amp inputs and too low for high level amp inputs. An inexpensive Scosche SLC4 will work just fine unless you are going for a +$1000 level system. Lastly, I've replaced the OEM 'saw blade' wheels. They just looked ugly to me. I stayed with 17" wheels since 18" packages (wheels & tires) were more expensive and 19", in addition to be much more expensive, are a much harsher ride quality. Also 19" are a bad choice in areas with less than ideal roads. Maybe if I put a performance suspension under it I will go with 19", but for now I'm not inclined to try to force this sedan to transform into a full blown 'performance' sedan.

2016 Accord LX
##Update 5/22/2025## (75,000miles) Other than a pair of seized rear calipers, which was a disappointing failure for a relatively new Honda at the time, this car has been a pretty solid performer. Routine maintenance and tire change were the only expenses. Mind you, it was not cheap to replace rear calipers and pads at a Honda dealership.

Miss my 2013 EX-L V6
I want to love this car, but I can't. I might upgrade my review if I don't have any more problems. So far one major, one minor. 1. Have the engine, transmission and cylinders checked out before you by. I had a failure at 600 miles. Have never had a problem before (this is my 5th Accord) 2. Insist on a replacement front window rubber strip-there is excessive wind noise at over 40 mph, a known issue. 3. If you are buying online, note that the beautiful Alabaster Silver has been replaced by Lunar Silver, which is more grey than silver. 4. Older buyers may find smaller fonts and controls on sound system frustrating. 5. This model has something called "limp mode". If I had known what it was before my car died suddenly, I wouldn't have been quite so scared.

Dying excitement on third day!!!
Ever since the 2016 accord release we were very excited. We loved the technology, safety and fuel economy, and of course the brand name Honda. Finally purchased one few days ago 2016 Accord EX-L 2.4L black and black. It looks amazing. New wheels style, drl, back led lights makes the car look stylish. I like the infotainment system and luxury looking interiors. However, all this excitement died out soon and now I am actually dreading to drive it already. The front seats are extremely uncomfortable, making my driving experience very poor. First day after an hour of drive I started to feel uncomfortable in the back. Thought I was still adjusting to the new seats. But the problem started to worsen. I have to drive about an hour and a half to my work and just after second day of use my problem is heading towards worse. Now third day and I am dreading to take it for the drive. The problem is with the lumbar support and seat structure itself. I love everything else about the car, but what's the use of a car if it gives me new health problems!!! Just above the lumbar support mechanism there is a band of stiff area which doesn't move, which pinches on the back. This is high up and digs a little into ribs on back. If I use the lumbar support to even it out, that makes it more uncomfortable. The support is too hard and poorly designed. Additionally, the seat's back and base are hinged such that it causes strain in the hips. Now my hips started to hurt as well. I have tried every setting possible without any relief. I am 5'8" with average built and I never had any prior back issues. I used to drive a Nissan altima without any problems and never had any problems with other cars I used to rent for long drives. But I am surprised to see accord is so uncomfortable. This problem is highly unlikely to be surface with short test drives, and accord is not a fleet car and usually not available to rent. So I never realized the problem. I really wanted to like the car but I don't know what to do now. I never thought a car which costs over 30k would be so poorly made. New buyers beware!!! If you have no issues with the seats I think it's a great car.

Cheaply Made and cheap looking
I deeply regret trading my Honda CR-V for the Accord Sedan. The car rides nice but it is very uncomfortable and hard to get in and out of. The seat belts definitely are not made for short people and getting in and out is difficult for tall people. The seats are a lousy foam rubber and do not provide any lumbar support. The fabric on the door panels are grey and are beginning to show signs of wear and tear with only 5,000 miles on the car. The integrity of the body is greatly compromised. I don't think this car is worthy of the Honda name and am already looking to get rid of it. After owning this car for over a year, I still don't think it is worthy of the Honda reputation.

I want to love the car but I can't
Purchasing a brand new vehicle for the first time in my life is a very exciting event. I had very high expectation from upgrading from used up 2004 Accord to brand new 2016 EX-L model. I love the design and acceleration, CarPlay is cool.... This could be a perfect car, BUT I can not understand how Honda can ignore two simple issues, that just make me thinking that this is my last Honda. The first problem is wind noise. It is simply horrible, not better than any other car from 90-s. No improvements at all on trying to make it a little quitter, to match up with competitors. This is really annoying and doesn't make any ride enjoyable. The second problem appears when I try to eliminate the wind noise by playing loud music. Guess what, load music causes vibration of the whole rear deck with the subwoofer. The stop light is so close to the glass, that light vibration of the deck causes the plastic to vibrate and periodically with high frequency hit the rear glass. This creates annoying rattling noise. So I make the volume lower, but then I here annoying wind noise... Most importantly, the dealer agreed to repair both of these issues, that cost me nothing but loosing hours of my personal work time. Both repairs are not successful and it was just a waste of time trying to fix manufacturer's pour design. Btw, the dealer doesn't accept that this is a result of pour design.... They offered the repairs covered by warranty, but they all were not effective with no improvements. Such confusing situation. Even if I am willing to pay to fix it, I can't fix it and no one can! I had to do what I originally planned to do, buy a more luxury but slightly used vehicle, in which, at least I would enjoy the ride while paying more for the repairs....

A Great Car
For the price you get the most bang for your buck with a Honda Accord Sedan.....the EX model is more than well appointed and this car is just the right size. Gas mileage is excellent. My Honda now has 26,000 miles and I gotta say they only things that needed attention are the usual (oil changes, tire rotations and wiper blades). I am just sorry that it took me so long to purchase a Honda. If I live to be a hundred I will purchase and recommend Hondas!

Down goes Honda
I have owned 4 Hondas and my last 2 brand new have been the absolute worst. This car is included. I bought it and was almost begged into buying the additional warranty, but thought it was just the finance person working extra hard. Apparently, he nee something that I didn't. I'm not impressed by a car doing what it is supposed to do. It's when it doesn't work that's the issue. The dual screens have blacked out-meaning no back up camera. The screens have locked up as well as the radio so I was stuck listening to the same thing. My locks malfunction so the only way to get into the car is unlock it manually. It has completely powered down/battery drained afer 30 min of radio listening on lunch -I didn't run the car full strength and had to call roadside assistance as my car -steering wheel and brake-locked completely. I currently think that it is being held together by a string and bubble gum. Going to get rid of it. This will be the last honda that I will buy. My last brand new crosstour had to have an entire front axle replaced after 3 years. I absolutely hate this car

Perky new Honda Accord V6 Touring
I love my new Honda Accord V6 Touring. It is quite large in the interior & exterior. So far the gas mileage has been ok; Honda stated it will take about 5,000 miles before I will see an improvement in the MPG. I love that it takes regular gasoline. I miss that there is not a good driver arm rest, but that is a small thing. All of the cameras are very helpful. I did not think I would like the Sensing package but they have been very helpful in backing-up and parallel parking. The steering ratio is excellent. The Honda Accord V6 Touring is a classy sedan, it is not like a “regular Accord”, therefore I hope that Honda creates a new upscale car-name to match the wonderful reality of this car.

The last of the true legacy Accord line up
I waited 2 long years to write this review; or should I said, 2 years from the moment I purchased the car. Being a avid car enthusiast, I got a hint through online forums and discussions that Honda will be moving to turbo engines in 2017 and going forward so I knew I had to act quick. I will elaborate...I have been driving Honda/Acura cars for the last 11 years, since I was 21. I won't waste time going into their reliability and quality, they have established that over the last 30 years. At the time of buying the 2016 Accord Sport 6MT, I was driving an Acura CL Type S 6MT and my secondary car was/is 1995 Accord EX 5MT. The CL was a great sporty car but it was aging (2003) and I wanted long term solution to my car situation as the 1995 Accord was pushing 250K at the time (currently is at 280K and rocking solid). I didn't want to wait for new generation Accords because I didn't want to go to turbo engines that are uncharted territory for Honda. I also didn't want another coupe like the CL and manual was a must so the natural choice came down to the Sport trim with the 6MT. I did several months of research and found that the 2.4 DI I-4 matted to a dual-mass flywheel clutch 6MT was a win-win as the engine has a timing chain instead of a timing belt and the dual mass flywheel clutch when driven hard but not abused under experienced driver (15 years of driving manual, since I was 16); that combo would provide close to 200K miles of no chain or clutch replacement needed, only minor tuning and maintenance on them. Both the 2.4 DI and the 6MT dual mass clutch are tried and true, no nonsense about them. On top of that, I wanted to get a 2016 model due to some great aesthetic upgrades, both inside and especially out. The inside for example, 2016 has red and black cockpit instead of white in 2013-2015, all black trim instead of grayish dash, phenomenal leather/steel shifter, aluminum pedals, etc. Outside there are so many improvements over 2013-2015 that I can't even count, especially those LED fog lights and 19 inch wheels taken from the Touring trim. To wrap this up, for the 2 years I've owned the car, I've only changed the oil 3 times (at 5K intervals, currently at 18K). That is literally it. The car is fun to drive, rock solid reliability, it's beautiful, it's attractive, it's got plenty of power, the 6MT is as good as a manual can be, AC is great, heat is excellent - basically, it's a complete car. What I also love about it that it's the last of the dying breed of simple interiors. No gimmicks, no space shuttle curvature of the dash, no goofy buttons, no LED RPM gauge; just classic interior with classic set up. It's truly a dying breed and cars like this aren't made anymore. Proof of that is the 2018 Accord, it couldn't be more gimmicky inside, starting with the aforementioned LED RPM gauge (cringe worthy). I should also mention that I talked the dealer down (spent a whole Saturday and half of a Monday there) to the invoice price; they frowned up having a manual car on the lot because they're a hard sell in Midwest Wisconsin, especially during winter months and it's a imported sedan. The fact I got it at such a great price makes it all so much complete. I will own this car for decades and plan on seeing it reach the same miles as my 1995 Accord (280K+).

BEWARE!! Accord 2016 has VIBRATION + moreproblems!
This car has serious vibration problems. At start up the engine vibrates and causes the steering wheel to shake .you have to put it into neutral to stop the vibration. The local dealer knows of the vibration problem on CRV but refuses to hear that there is a problem on the accord. The agents at America Honda never picks up the phone and are not helpful very negative, cannot send any written information .They said take it to another dealership.I am doing that. The seats are very uncomfortable after a long drive and the steering feels stiff on the freeway. The air conditioner and heating system are very poor works only at very high setting. I am smelling foul air from the air Conditioner system and this is not covered by warranty. The car is noisy on the freeway-wind noise. I bought the car for its excellent reviews! and customer service!. My previous car has no such problems. I am now questioning the reviews. I feel I have a lemon because no one reports this vibration problems etc. Do test drive for a long distance and check the car before you buy. On mine the vibration problem started 2 weeks after purchase. America Honda are very reluctant to provide any information or concrete help. The + gas mileage is good ,acceleration good.

Worst car that I ever owned!
I bought this car from Elgin McGrath dealership, in Summer of 2016. Before that I drove Camry 2009 and had no issues ever. Love that car! Now I gave it to my parents and they are enjoying it. With new "addition" (Honda Accord Sport 2016) in our household I started having all kinds of problems from the very beginning of my ownership: after just 1 month, voice recognition started failing, pandora stopped working, in a year or year and a half in winter the car didn't start one time (battery was ok though), heating system started blowing cold air and last winter I was freezing in my car consistently to and from work, camera failed 1 time and yesterday another time, car didn't start again when I needed to pick up my Mom from the airport 2 months ago, and there was also an issue when all of a sudden the car wouldn't accelerate when I pushed the gas pedal on the highway and on local roads too... I kept bringing my car for the past 3 years (since I bought it brand new) to 4 different dealerships on regular basis in hope that it will be fixed, but they didn't do anything, saying that they couldn't replicate the issue.. Years are going by, my car didn't start again and camera failed, voice recognition still doesn't work most of the time, instead of heating it blows cold air... Now my car is our of warranty and all these issues are continued, should they be finally "replicated", I will probably have to pay out-of-pocket at this point... Now, how unfair is that?! MotoWerks in Barrington was unbelievably inconsiderate and even rude to me. Took my car for repairing these issues multiple times, gave me a loaner, forgot about me for 2 weeks, noone made any contact, then when I called there myself to ask about the status of my vehicle, they said that they can't repair it because they can't replicate the issue and demanded their loaner back, while I had a surgery that day and was on bed rest! In June of 2019, during my next attempt to fix all these issues in my car, the manager crossed the line at all - while they didn't repaired my vehicle AGAIN, and didn't even care about it, he at that very same moment demanded their loaner back and after I mentioned that we have a death in a family and funeral will be in a day or two, asked if I could return their loaner few days later, in a meantime maybe they would finally fix my car, he not only refused me, but he also threatened me to call the police and report their vehicle "as stolen"!!! HIS RESPONSE WAS NOY ONLY DISRESPECTFUL BUT IT WAS EVEN SHOCKING!!! I was STUNNED!!! I dropped all my errands for the day, his threat ruined all the things for me I had to take care of that day, and I was forced to go back to the dealership to return them their loaner! That was my last encounter with Honda dealership before my warranty expired.. I've seen disrespect from sales people and managers on occasion before, but THIS ONE WAS BEYOND BELIEF! IT WAS AN OUTRAGE! THIS MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED FOR SUCH MISCONDUCT TOWARDS A CUSTOMER! As to a Corporate, they are being of no help either!!! They just kept sending me back to the dealerships, where the system must have been designed for NOT finding a problem that customer is suffering from with a car, and REFUSE TO OFFER ANOTHER SOLUTION SINCE I CONTINUE HAVING THESE ISSUES BUT DEALERSHIPSARE UNABLE TO FIX THEM. If I ever get in to a car accident due to malfunctioning of my vehicle and manufacturer's unwillingness to resolve a problem for me, this will be THEIR FAULT AND THEIR RESPONSIBILITY! Hope I will be safe though until I buy another car. So... I'm stuck with a defective vehicle so far, dealerships can't fix it and corporate refuses to refund me the money by "lemon" law.. MY RECOMMENDATION - STAY AWAY FROM HONDA AND BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER!!! OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE STUCK WITH DEFECTIVE VEHICLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND YOU WON'T GET ANY HELP FROM ANYWHERE FOR AS LONG AS YOU OWN THIS CAR!!! By the way, I take excellent care of my car, drive it very little - for 3 years and 3 months it has only 20k miles on it.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HONDA TO ANYONE!!!
sexy car with not so great interior design
Outside is WONDERFUL however driving sites very low to the ground in the sport edition which causes the handling to be quite ruff and the ride just as ruff, the controls on the steering wheel are horribly placed and you constantly hit the dial a person button. The steering wheel is just awkward in general. Also the stereo system is terrible you do not get quality thats for sure.

love my 2016 accord sport
want looks? there are none better! owned it less than 2 wks and have been approached by numerous potential car buyers about its beautiful features. one who was torn between the sport and a Hyundai equus. ($75,000+) car. go figure! I could not have made a better/smarter choice. Remember though if you are looking for that luxury ride this is the sport, built with a slightly lower profile and stiffer suspension with the 19 inch wheels that complement the look and handling. I can never wait for the next driving experience, so I make up reasons to drive it. I love my accord sport and the cherry on top is that it's a HONDA and there is no such thing as a bad honda in my eyes.

Awesome Accord Sport
Fit and finish is excellent, style and design is top notch and quality and value is exceptional. A great all-around driving experience. After 30 months, the reliability is still exceptional, fuel economy is excellent, and "surprise" factor has not shown up at all. Solid ride. All basic maintenance accomplished easily at oil changes or annual inspection. 50 K before it needed brakes and still rolling on original tires. Replaced the tires at 60K, with an alignment and some basic attention the car runs great and still looks like new. Had to replace the floormats though, the heel on the driver's side was worn through... not as easy a task to obtain decent replacements as you may think. Honda parts cost were astronomical!

Good
Bought it for 23300. Very good so far. Had it for two weeks. Drove 1400 miles highway and averaged out 32 to 33 mpg. Kinda shifts to left but i think its just the wheel alignment.

Wind noise
After 69 mph wind noise is very uncomfortable. It is very pronounced on the upper corners of the front windows (right next to your ears -shoulders and makes for an unpleasant ride. The CVT transmission works great for most daily tasks but on prolonged down hills you can only shift it down to Sport mode or low which is way too short of a gear and I find myself riding the brakes more than I would like. I sure do miss a good stick shift , but it was only available on the Sports package with no leather and only two dark colors. I also find the that trunk is much smaller than our two previous Camrys, especially the opening.... I can barely get our large beach cooler in it. The best thing so far about the car is the looks, but as for practicality, I wish that I would have never had switched from Toyota.

WTH? This is a Honda?
Good, generous wide interior. Of all the cars we test drove, this model felt the roomiest-width wise. Instrument panel is good, well laid out. Looks nice. Good tech service. Salesman was obnoxious and aggressive-would not by from him every again. I bought a Honda Accord due to everyone's hoopla about it and it's supposed reliability. With mine, wind noise is terrible as is rain noise. Not much more to say about wind noise except that it's awful loud on highway. When it rains, the water runs down the windows and side of car which is very loud. Transmission is sluggish but I'm was told that is the "new" transmission system Honda uses. Fuel economy isn't particularly note worthy, not terrible, not great. Based on my first experience with a Honda Accord, I am not likely to buy another one.

Great For Leasing, Expensive to own
+Pros: 1. Nice redesign, but a little too much chrome on the outside. Would have been nice for some details in black instead of chrome, plus, I personally don't like chrome -- it's cheapy/tacky looking bling and it blinds people driving behind you. 2. It's a V6 and fast when pushed (but also a future con.) 3. Great highway gas mileage. (Also a con) 4. The front seats can be moved further up than before, great to prevent kids that kick and ruin the leather seats 5. Dual screen, but they still haven't updated the camera screen, still looks like a webcam from the 90's. 6. Finally, a rear spoiler on the V6 model, but you pay for it with it being only on the Touring Trim level. 7. Very nice rims! 8. Beige leather is very nice, so is the Orchid White paint. 9. Remote Start. Still have to figure it out. When I activate it and then get into the car and it says hold the break and push start, then car turns off. What's the point?? Ugh. +Cons: 1. Timing Belt replacement (you're looking at a $1200 replacement including water pump and tensioner) and hope the mechanic you get installs it properly without causing more harm than good trying to squeeze into the crammed in space to replace it. They still refuse to use a timing chain on the V6 line. 2. Cost to replace engine mounts: $500. 3. Cost to replace the 7" touchscreen when it goes, and it will die eventually and I highly doubt it will make it 10 years. 4. Stupid idea to put the music controls on the touch screen and no physical buttons to operate it. I still can't stop playing music without having to navigate the touchscreen to turn off the music. At least have a on/off music button or touch button like the Pilot has* 5. Wow, still no rear HVAC control? 6. Still no rear USB ports? 7. Piano Black Gloss? Really? It's a swirl scratch magnet plus distraction in the sun from the glare. Who thought this was a good idea? 8. Keyless ignition, while nice, why didn't you do what you did like the Pilot with an illuminated Button? Anyways, it's a con, because when that goes, it's about $1200 to replace. 9. Subwoofer tends to rattle the rear window, though the audio system does sound better then the 2013 V6 I had. 10. HD Radio sounds aweful, I really wish they also included an analog reciever.** 11. Gas Mileage / VCM Engine ... I just hope that after the class action lawsuit of previous generations due to the VCM design, this engine doesn't eat oil and foul spark plugs. Summary: All-in-all, it's a great car to lease, but not buy. Too many electronics that can go bad down the road that would raise the Total Cost of Ownership thousands of dollars more. If they provided a 8 year 100K warranty on the electronics, I say go for it, but at 3Y/36K standard, it's a future money pit, even with "Honda Care" at another $1200.00 You're better off with the LX with the least amount of electronics that can go bad. My final note: Great For Leasing, Expensive to own, esp. if you plan to drive it into the ground, and before you drive this thing into the ground, I bet you it will do that first to your wallet in repairs. UPDATES: 1. * I found the Audio On/Off button, it exists, it's to the left of the CD Player. Unlike the Honda Pilot EX-L which has it on the Touch Screen. 2. **There is a way to change the HD radio preference (personally, HD Radio sounds like someone talking through a tin can, aweful.) If you dig into the menu screen, you'll see the option to default to Analog Radio as the first preference. Addendum to Pros: 1. Great visibility outside of the Windows. 2. Breaking is responsive. Other: 1. When driving on the I280 in NJ, I noticed on the curves at around 65MPH, the road handling feels slippery. Maybe it's the new tires? Not sure, but it's not road gripping, more like fishtail/slipping. 2. My Goodness, on the Touring Trim, All Season Mats and Mud Flaps should be standard!!

Sharp, Solid, Powerful, Fuel Efficient, Nice Drive
One of the things that drew me to this car was the refreshed exterior for 2016. Hands down, to me, it is one of the best looking mid-size cars out right now. I have had my Touring edition for almost three months now and I continue to get compliments almost daily on the looks of the car. Even when I see one on the road, I have to admire how good it looks. Exterior wise, this car looks perfect with its sculpted lines, curves and LED headlights, daytime running and tail lights. Honda really has made this Accord stand out in the looks department in comparison to other mid size cars in the same price range. I took the car on a few test drives before making the decision to trade my 2011 Camry SE V6 in for the Accord Touring. My original review on this car a few weeks back was less than stellar. Since driving this car for a period of nearly three months now, I have grown to love this car. Every car is going to have it's quirks, but this one does not have many. Overall, the Accord Touring is a very impressive car for the money. I only have three slight issues with this car and they are listed below. 1. Lack of physical knobs for adjusting volume and scanning for stations. You don't realize how useful knobs are until you don't have them. After three months of driving, it is not as bad as it was initially as I am now accustomed to tuning and controlling the system mainly via the integrated steering wheel controls and touchscreen, occasionally. 2. Overall sound quality from the 360 Watt Premium sound system is marginal. Coming from a JBL system in a Camry, I may be a little spoiled in this area. Even with the sub and bass turned up the highest setting, the audio still seems weak. I've tweaked just about every setting possible, but still can't seem to get a rich, deep sound from the system. I stream mostly via Bluetooth. When connected directly via Apple Carplay, the audio sounds a little distorted. The sounds seem muffled and distant when directly connected for some reason. After playing with the settings a bit more on numerous evenings in the garage, I have the settings to where they produce the best sound, at least to me, so I am now satisfied. 3. V6 Performance - Perhaps the Camry SE v6 has spoiled me in this department as well as that car had plenty of power and pep when needed. The V6 Accord is just tuned differently I guess. It seems to be little sluggish initially but when it gets going, the power eventually comes. It just doesn't feel as lively and peppy as I think it should be. Don't get me wrong, when the shifter is put into Sport mode, the car behaves very differently. When not in this mode, it just seems to be a bit unresponsive and sluggish. I do love the fact that the car is very fuel efficient on the highway as I typically average about 31/32 miles per gallon when driving long distances at highway speeds. (Note: after recently experimenting with "Sport" mode, I have grown to love this car even more. When you need the quick start, Sport mode will give it, effortlessly. Even when driving on the highway in Sport mode, just a slight touch on the gas pedal and the car moves very quickly! It's good to know that it is there when needed but I wouldn't advise keeping the car in this mode full time as fuel efficiency will be greatly impacted.) In my initial review back in early February, which I have replaced with this one, I stated that a trade in was imminent. Well, that is not the case any more after driving this car for nearly past two months. I had made my mind up to go back to a Camry, specifically, a 2016 XSE V6. This Honda though has changed my thinking. The Accord is more fuel efficient, has more up to date technology and luxury features standard, with the Touring model and overall is just a more exciting and fun car to drive. I've driven the XSE V6 and personally, it does not have that exciting road feel, driving experience that the Accord has. For someone who likes to feel the road, the Accord is the better option in my opinion. To me, this is the best looking Accord Honda has ever designed. I've secretly been an Accord admirer for many years but never said anything to my wife or acted on it as I always told her we'd only own and drive Toyota's in this family! However, from the outside to the inside, this is one sharp looking car and I had to make a move when I saw the 2016 Accord Touring. This is my first Honda, as I've owned and driven nothing but Toyota's but if the reputation and reliability of this car lives up to its name, this will not be my last Accord. I really love this car and look forward to driving it every day!

2016 White Rabbit
All in all I like the car. It's not as comfortable a rider as I would prefer on roads other the interstate. Very pleased with the MPG. Just returned from a 1860 mile trip, mostly interstate but about 300 mile 2 lane country and about 100 small town. The entire trip averaged over 34 mpg. Interstate speed 70-75. 26-27 mpg is the norm for my daily trips. I consider this very good for a V6.

2016 Certified Accord EX-L Outstanding Deal
This is my 9th Honda Accord sedan. I love the car. The only wart is the ride at times. 90% of the time the ride is good enough-handling is good. 10% of the time when the road is bad, the ride is very rough. But I can live that. The most important issue is transmission performance to me. There is no delay that it makes it an unsafe vehicle like some other cars. I owed an upscale Honda product-Acura TLX. Mine was of 2015 vintage with 4,300 mile when I sold it in September 2016 and I only owned it for a year. I did not feel safe driving it. A variant of the 6 cylinder with the 9 speed ZF was the powertrain. That transmission strangled the 290 horsepower, and the VCM on top of the 9 speed completely neutered the Acura in question. The transmission shifted erratically and 4th gear took too long to engage. The Accord is not for everybody but for my being an Accord fan it is A- and just great. I got this car as a Honda certified with 6,300 miles for with a pre-tax price within + or - 4% of trade-in value. Clean CarFax and AutoCheck accident free. In service date of 1/12/16 - thus, 7 yr Certified warranty ends Jan 2023. I got a wraparound First Automotive warranty that expires same day as Honda 7 year that includes a ton more components than the Honda 7 year powertrain warranty for a nominal amount. The dealership that I purchased the car from was Rick Roush in Medina, Ohio. The sales personnel, Tyler Roush and Tracy Hammond, were extremely helpful and did an outstanding job. A recent listing for a used identical vehicle in a different color was originally listed with a Ford dealer at $28,476-way too high a price. This Ford dealer just reduced it after a few days to $26,810 for a non-Honda certified vehicle-a fair price but not a great price. I did extremely well in my purchase of this car. Again my hat off to Rick Roush Honda.

Great car marred by infotainment & dim instruments
This is a great car marred only by a maddening and slow infotainment system and instrument panel lights that are difficult to see with polarized sunglasses. The infotainment would be okay except the touchscreen symbols frequently need two or three pushes to make something happen. The infotainment control wheel/button would make an acceptable substitute for dials except for the delay when you push the button to change from, say FM to Sirius/XM. It's measured in seconds - come on Honda these are electrons for heaven's sake. The instrument panel lighting control doesn't seem to want to work unless the headlights are on and it is dark outside, and then you can't turn it bright enough for daytime use to offset the view through sunglasses, especially the gray-on-black center portion of the display. Hopefully Honda will check he simplicity and clarity of their past designs and get serious about a do-over. Then the Accord would be a perfect car. Update: Very comfortable. Wonderful engine. Transmission occasionally loses its way on slow acceleration after stop signs. Tire pressure monitoring system DOESN'T MEASURE TIRE PRESSURE! Within all the convoluted infotainment screens you can't find a simple diagram showing tire pressure at each wheel. The TPMS calibration feature can't activate unless the vehicle is stopped but the calibration only takes place after the vehicle has been running for awhile at 30-60 mph so it can measure rolling characteristics. When the air temperature is very cold, say 10 deg F, and all four tires are equally underinflated, there is no warning. I'm beginning to think all the best Honda engineers were working on the NSX. Please, please, please Honda give the infotainment system a massive overhaul, including a TPMS system that actually measures and shows tire pressures. Update 6/2018: A very good car that continues to be marred by electronic glitches. Bulletproof transportation. Wonderful for trips with a very powerful, very smooth engine with decent gas mileage, low 20s around town, high 20s highway. Leather seats comfortable for tall (me) and short (spouse) alike. Large, well-shaped trunk. No squeaks or rattles. The automatic (non-CVT) transmission occasionally stumbles over itself pulling away from a stop sign as if it can't figure out which gear to be in, but once rolling it is a dream. Throttle tip-in is quite sensitive making me feel like a beginning driver, even though I've been driving for over 40 years. The remote fob is overly sensitive, fully capable of popping the trunk lid while the fob is in my pocket, in my second floor office. The infotainment hell continues, the latest being that the USB port in the center armrest cubby has decided it only wants to recognize my music stick some of the time. The rest of the time it shows a big Unplayable warning. The USB port in the dash doesn't seem to have the same problem but with the stick in place the flap door can't close all the way. Would I get it again? Maybe, if the infotainment undergoes a massive overhaul, if the fob could be made less sensitive, if the transmission could be fine tuned, but then again, maybe asking for a modern car to be free of digital gremlins is asking too much. I may even keep it when the lease runs out. The good far outweighs the bad.

The Accord is still the best midsize sedan
This is the 4th Accord my family has owned, and it's the best yet. The EX model that we just got has amazing features for the price, including remote start, AndroidAuto/AppleCarPlay, moonroof, smart entry/putshbutton start, dual zone climate control, rear seat AC vents, etc, etc. Love the LED daytime running lights, fog lights, and tail lights. As always with an Accord you get great comfort and room, sporty handling, and excellent sight lines all around. The last is quite important, since most cars these days have poor visibility out the back. Excellent power and gas mileage. Compared to previous generations of Accord this car is quiet and powerful. Love the car so far.

Great looking car and good value
First off, this car is very sharp! I bought it 3 years used on lease return and have had numerous compliment and people thinking its brand new. The exterior and interior are sharp. High way mileage is 37 mpg and 39.5 mpg in econ mode. City I average 23-27mpg, 32.5-34 mpg overall. for 185 Hp its very sporty and the CVT transmission is easy to get use to. The "rubber band" feel isn't bad and I like how smooth it is. Good leg and space room. The EX-L is worth the extra $. Lot's of features and key less entry, push start and such makes it feel like a nice luxury car. The seats are decent, people complaining should try the civic and see how much better this is! Cons: little bit of wind noise on high way past 65 mph, but is minor and not even noticeable with if the stereo is on low. Stereo is so so, could of been tuned a little better, but gets the job done. I would like volume knobs, but you learn to live without. The center arm rest could be longer, but still usable. Overall a very nice car for the $ and I'm happy with the purchase.

KB 2016 Accord Sport
I really LOVED my car when I bought it. The beautiful styling and nice wheels stood out from other brands and models. After having my car over a year my LED daytime running lights went out TWICE and the dealership didn't want to replace them but mentioned that it was an issue from other customers. I paid almost 6 hundred to get them fixed even with Honda paying half of the repair cost. After this incident my a/c fan became VERY noisy and would constantly stop working. I had to get it replaced out of warranty. Besides these issues I like my car overall.

Really Nice Car!!
Ok I'm a Honda and fan and I've owned several Accords over the years. This 2016 Accord Touring is the best most sophisticated Accord yet! I really love everything about the car EXCEPT the interior room. I'm 6'5 and this model has the least headroom I believe ever. I'm tall but very lean and I feel tight and a bit cramped when I drive. My 2009 Accord V6 was way roomier and I sat far more comfortably. People complained that model was too big but I loved it. I still love this car and highly recommend it except for really tall people like me.
