Two months ago replaced 2013 Accord LX with "the same" 2015 Accord LX. what a big difference. Every review saying that car was not redesigned. I made a big mistake believing them. I refuse a road test this time(to expedite), just picked the color. Biggest problem: very uncomfortable seats. For two months I can not find a comfortable position, it hurts my back. Car has new type of cloth on sits and doors, it looks nice, but picks up dirt as magnet. Second is road noise. I should say it is more wind noise, very loud, especially on the bridge in windy day. Looks like cheap quality of insulation materials. Engine also got louder, and you can fill vibration when idle on traffic light.

Hondas were better in 2000, behind in 2015

Most buy Hondas and Toyotas for their reliability, as did I in 1991 and 2000 with two civics. However this 2015 Accord stopped in traffic (local) due to some kind of engine problem with my wife driving... less than 10k on the odometer, so the repairs were done by dealer. But day in and day out the ride comfort is really bothersome and dangerous: the rear suspension is too stiff without load, and too springy with 3 passengers. The rear transmits any sharp bumps on the road as an uncomfortable hit to the back. The comfort issue disappears when fully loaded with passengers, however driving at high speed on a toll road (241) at around 75mph, when the car drove over a gentle bump the car was almost airborne scaring all of us, but it maintained course.

Accord: nice features, awful ride quality

After driving a Camry for years, I bought a new 2015 Accord LX last week. Boy do I regret it. Just sitting in the Camry and Accord, there is no comparison - the Accord is nicer, has more standard features, and appears to be more solidly built. On my test drive I noticed that the ride was pretty bumpy but I wrote that off to the lousy condition of the local roads. The uh-oh moment came the next day on my ride to work when my brand new Accord found road bumps that I never knew existed. I'm sure it's just personal preference, but I find the ride quality to be HORRIBLE. For all the would-be Accord buyers out there, please test drive thoroughly before you buy. I wish I had.

I replaced my 1997 Accord LX with a 2015 Accord LX, so it was a pretty big leap in terms of technology and safety features. The new car has not disappointed so far. I am a pretty basic car person with a short commute to work, so I didn't need all of the options on the higher priced models. The option list was just about right on target for my needs. The only thing I probably would have liked to add as an option would be the fog lights to improve visibility. I actually like the smoothness of the CVT and am averaging about 31-32 mpg in mostly around town driving. The ride is smoother and more compliant than my old model - the steering has a much better feel, as do the brakes. The cabin is spacious and, while not silent, is reasonably quiet. I would prefer less road noise, but also realize I didn't pay for a Lexus. If the engine is anywhere near as reliable as my old Accord, I look forward to driving this car for many years to come. I bought the car in August using the Edmunds coupon and Honda down payment assistance incentive, so with that and dealer discounts I felt like I got a nice deal in the end. Keep in mind, my 5-star rating gives consideration to the value for the price paid. I'm not comparing the comfort, features, handling, etc. to a luxury sports sedan. Update: almost a year now and not a single problem so far. Some idiosyncrasies with phone/audio interface, but could easily be user error. Update 2: I've had the car for 2.5 years now and other than a minor recall I haven't had any problems with the car. My initial impressions still ring true.

Good family car

Overall I like the car. The inside is roomy and comfortable, I have plenty of leg room and even with a car seat placed in the middle back seat, we can still seat 2 adults behind. The ride is smooth but you can definitely hear the road on the highway. What I would say is that I am not impressed by the acceleration. That is something I will definitely consider next time I shop for a car.
