Great form and factor - terrible quality
I love the looks and size of this vehicle. I wanted a large vehicle for a large family + dog and powerful towing capacity. It meets all those marks. Unfortunately, this is my second GMC and quality is garbage. Falls apart after 5-6 years. For a $75,000 vehicle, you would expect better. These aren't small issues. Major repairs: - Lifters/valve springs in engine - Front axle snapped - Front struts seized - Bearing in steering wheel "pops". - Lane departure system shorted out - Automatic Ride Control / leveler - compressor shot - Air Conditioning compressor cracked - Control arm broken Update 7 years old and $91k miles: - Rear/side traffic sensors went bad (seals wore out) allowing water to enter. Shorted out entire high speed data network in car, rendering car undriveable. All instrumentation just shut off while driving! $2,400 repair - Auto-ride leveling no longer working - Now starting to high-idle. Vacuum leak or bad O2 sensor. - Vehicle components/frame rusting like crazy for just 5 years old. These are repairs costing thousands of dollars each, not hundreds. It's a non-stop money pit. Easily putting $4k per year into this car to keep it running. Given this, I'll be forced to leave the brand and buy foreign next time. 2x I've given GMC the benefit of the doubt. They just don't build a quality product.
Yukon is a Con
Have owned our 2015 Yukon Denali for about 3 years. Started with 65k and now has 130k. Probably 6000 in repairs. Struts are $2000+, LED's are $1000. Tires are $1000+ Rear shocks are $1000. Automatic running boards are a disaster. Finally found a person who could turn ONE of them off. Most recent is a fuel line leak which could have caused a fire. Navigation system chip needed replaced. Not sure I will ever purchase another GMC. Do better!

GMC 2015 Denali ***LOADED*****
Bought the 2015 Denali w/ all the bells and whistles in October 2014. At that time, the new body style was very hard to find, because it was so new. I have owned for over 2 years & have 49,000 miles on it. Have major problems when going 65 to 70-75 mph on freeway with the transmission-- while driving and increasing the speed on highway, it feels like the car "jerks" as it accelerates. Its horrible! Have taken to dealership 3X's complaining about it & they look @ me like I am crazy. I am getting ready to trade it in due to high mileage...other complaint is the usb ports--always tearing up my iphone cords. Miserable! When you plug your phone in into the usb, it automatically connects phone to vehicle...if you aren't paying attention, end up missing texts, phone calls, directions. I do love that you can use OnStar w/ directions, & remote start from your iphone...great little perk. Love the 3rd row seats and cargo...haul kids & dogs

Beautiful SUV. But a money pit... POS
Had this SUV for about 4 months. Already put $3000+ in repairs into it. It was purchased after a full factory inspection and warranty. STILL A POS. BASICALLY falling apart.

Not happy with my 2015
I love the look of the Denali SUV, and have owned five throughout the years. I am a creature of habit, and always upgrade, however, I am starting to look at other options. I have owned my 2015 for two years, and since then I have replaced three value springs (which has completely left me stranded) two air ride lifters, and one part for the sunroof. With just over 100k miles, my current Denali runs horrible. Needless to say I have a love hate relationship with this suv. Sadly, I am fearful of being stranded and worry every time I get in the truck and at $75,000 I should not be feeling this way.
