Love my Denali but it's not perfect

I've had my Denali for a couple of months and have upgraded it with 22" rims. It looks great, but it's not perfect for a $53,000 vehicle. It needs heated mirrors, better second row seats (it would be nice if you can move them back and forth), and the third seat needs to hide in the floor.

I have horses and find this vehicle to be everything I need, to hauling the trailer, to taking dogs on vacation, and yet everyone loves the riding comfort and all the amenties when it is my turn to drive "just folks"

Everything it should be, & then some

I've owned & driven lagre SUV's for 30 years and now they really have it together. It's user freindly and most important, it's a drivers SUV. Whether on the dry pavement of the interstate or charging through unplowed back roads of New Hampshire this vehicle handles very well and generally exceeds expectation.

I really like my Yukon XL. But it doesn't show up in the ratings. Its better than the Sequoia/Expedition types because of the cargo space behind the third seat and the ability to tow. I had a '97 Suburban and this new unit is much improved in ride and engine. But its the size coupled with the ease of operation that makes it the king of the road. It remains to be seen if reliability is any better - the Suburban was a little weak, but not so weak I didn't get another GM.

I've traded a 2002 Denali for a 2004 XL Denali for more rear space and leg room in the third row. I do miss some features that was deleted from the 2002 Denali. Deleted items: music mute on steering column, console data feedback and computer, underhood service lamp, and the 2 service plugs in the rear.
